Cliff looks like some a-hole kid in a movie who always wear excessive fancy stuff, talking shit and at the end got kick in the ball and everybody is cheering/clapping. Which is sad coz the game tho has it glaring flaws looks pretty good. It would've been a success if it wasn't for Cliff imo, and 30$ price tag with nonexistent marketing.
but it's not very much like overwatch at all. It was even stated that it wasn't in the video :D but i can understand that people only look skin deep into things and make false preconceptions before they even try it. sad world
The reason LawBreakers is struggling because market is being saturated with so many multiplayer shooters: Overwatch, Paladins, Destiny 2, Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, and Quake Champions. Then there are the existing ones: Counter-Strike, Warframe, and Team Fortress 2. Meanwhile, the new Unreal Tournament is still stuck in Alpha because Epic Games is more interested in FortNite after adding the Battle Royale mode.
While that is true, it seems somewhat unknown to those outside of that player base. I think it has a lot to do with people getting turned off from the game back when it was still new.
They were screwed either way. People were completely against it being free to play when it was announced, then when it launched they were against having to pay for it.
Chase Lawbreakers as a FTP has a better ending than a payed game. At least FTP games like Warframe can evolve while most payed games with PvP or PvE longevity as its base are stagnant in their evolution.
Mark White because sometimes we should try new things. Look at "guerrilla games" they switched from killzone (fps game) to Horizon (open adventure world game) the game was a big hit.
I heard of this game a lot, it was on a lot of gaming channels (maybe it's just because the type of channels I watch) but I personally didn't like the game because it felt unbalanced and the zero gravity fast paced movement felt really janky to me in the open beta
Clayton Smith I liked the game immensely, but consistently getting killed by Gunslinger turned me off hardcore. Also, it was pretty easy to tell the game wouldn't really live up to anything with how it tried to make lootboxes work. The icons were neat, but a lot of items are available for things that absolutely nobody pays attention to (weapon customization, shoe prints, etc.) I would've bought the game but the balance was bad, hit reg was awful sometimes, and the devs managed to make all the customization look *exactly* like Overwatch.
I think it was the fact they were trying to directly compete with Overwatch and that the gameplay is very different from what people are used to may have hurt it. I tried the Beta and kinda liked it but something just felt really off about the way it controlled and some Characters felt noticeably underwhelming/Overwhelming. I was really hoping it would do better than I expected but they kinda shot themselves in the foot upon announcement.
If you play PS4 you will have no problems. The community is slowly but steadily growing. If you’re the guy that can sprint jump kick slash and gun your way to 50-2 kills to deaths in other games, this is your church.
The problem with this game is that it is trying to compete in an oversaturated genre. The game isn't distinct enough to stand on its own. On PC there are much better games to play and on the PS4 there are shooters like COD and destiny and people won't want to move from them.
The market already burned out by overwatch, people tired of this genre (arena shooter) even though there aren't many out there. People mostly will grab destiny, cod, or pubg if they want to play shooter
Markus Brorson I definitely see what you're saying. However, this game was marketed as another shooter and clearly that affected the game. Another big part of this games failure was the marketing cause it just looked like another cod.
Rainbow six siege is a complex game that gets major content patches every season and is a game you can play for thousands of hours and still figure out neat little spots to hide that will help you win games, and you have to think about where you want to set up and when to use your gagets and where and how you're team is going to tackle the objective, in R6S it will literally take you a solid 100-200 hours just to get to know the maps well, in CoD I could get through all the content in 50 hours if you include zombies, CoD is a very lack luster game with no thinking involved you just run in and gun and rinse and repeat with no consequences until something works, CoD prides itself on gun design and zombies and that's pretty much all it does well (and gun design can be pretty shit sometimes too) if you enjoy running around not thinking while just pulling a trigger mindlessly then all the power to you and have fun with CoD but it in no universe has more content lol
Milania are you recommending us cod? that generic ass fps that 12 year olds play with a low ass skill ceiling? I would rather play unreal tournament 2004 with bots.
Game is awesome. Recent patch actually balanced the game. Some say it made it worse but due to the fast paced aerial-infused gameplay... being able to break from an engagement for some cool hot pursuits creates a dynamic only found in old Tribes games. Before you just died to quickly to break to intelligently disengage from a fight. Gameplay is original and skill-based. But success will indeed need to be something akin to how WarFrame found fame and grew its player base. Regular content updates, not being afraid to shake things up dramatically and listening to the community... But even more important is knowing when NOT to listen to the community.
Do you mean, "It was being advertised on Disney, XD" as in you're laughing about it being on Disney or was it actually on the channel "Disney XD"? Also that is insanely shocking considering how much swearing and gibs goes on in this game. Can you source this claim?
Nah, the problem is there are enough shooters out there...In addition to that, as you mentioned Overwatch exists as well as Paladins and TF2 which all have similar playstyles and do rather well. Plus unlike the last 2 things I mentioned, it costs money.
coming back after an year, this breaks my heart that this could've been the game I wanted to play, still looks so cool compared to even some recent titles,RIP
Glum1Singer naaa hype is for the sheep, I know my framewar and what I am looking forward to is the bugs, as in every major update thus-far, good fun (I will say I do fancy making my own melee wep. that looks cool)
My favorite part of this whole fiasco was when Cliffy B was saying he wanted Lawbreakers to be the "R rated" side of the hero shooter market, then later banned a streamer from visiting Bosskey studio because he didn't think he was being PC enough in his streams.
In my case, I didn't care for the game because I didn't see any "personality" at all; the character design was all over the place, the maps looked like something from unreal tournament, the art style looked like.... well, I don't even know how to define the art style, the law breaking thing didn't looked like anything revolutionary, the weapons looked "meh" and the gameplay looked "meh" aswell. Even if this game were to be popular right now, I will still not be interested in playing it.
I hated the zero grav fast paced controlling, it never felt like my character moved where I wanted to go and like I had full control, i loved the fast paced combat inside buildings where there wasnt people slinging around everywhere but when like 10 people are jumping and slinging around everywhere at high speeds and I don't feel like I have full control of my character movement it creates a very unfulfilling experience, this could just be me though
+Clayton Smith it's just you, you have to get used to it. your character moves in the direction you are looking in zero grav... once you get used to that, its easy
Yeah I'd assume as much considering I've been playing the hell out of Rainbow and PUBG and most other game's movements sometimes feel a little clunky to me
I love warframe and i start play in the launch day on steam (4 years ago) and one of the best thing of warframe is the love of all devs and managers. They love warframe and continues making the game better and better everyday and making this for the players.
I played way back and I've been told that it's changed so I consider my self a noob now and I was wondering is it noob friendly or is it going to take a while to get good
Neto Germano I thought warframe was one of the worst shooting games I've played. It was a tedious shitty grind why anyone thinks it's good is very beyond me.
Evolve was just a game that looked good on paper and came out as a barebones game... I played one game when they put it out for free on xbox and my intrest in it was already gone...
I was actually a huge evolve fan and played it religiously even when match making took a half hour to get a lobby together. What killed evolve was lack of content and the game was microtransactioned and dlc'd to hell.
They just couldn't find the right balance in that game. The first Evolve was way too slow paced and a pay 2 play pay 2 win game (somehow), took fucking forever to find the monster on the massive maps. So they made the gameplay quicker and made maps smaller but like martinjez said, it became way too barebones and easy. They removed a lot of the tracking elements that made the original fun, and just made you hit a button to scan the whole map for the monster's direction. Plus trying to balance a 4v1 game is incredibly hard. It kind of works in Dead by Daylight because even though it's 4v1, there are many 1v1 encounters which just doesn't happen in Evolve. To be honest I had fun in that game, it's a shame that they just gave up on it rather than trying to fix it. I liked where the new Evolve was heading with no necessary microtransactions but they prematurely killed it before they could fix things
Reading these comments makes me realize how different I am from many gamers. The movement and mechanics are satisfying and I have decent tracking so the game feels very rewarding. I wish I had more people to play against.
Might want to check it out again this week they are about to release Plains of Eidolon an openworld free expansion with towns, quests, giant bosses roaming the planet, and more.
3rd person would have instantly changed the target audience and probably found it a bigger niche. The FPS competitive scene is way too crowded and tired. Don't forget Titanfall2 is out there, as well. Just too much.
I honestly love LawBreakers and its sad that there arent enough players playing. In my opinion its way better than call of duty multiplayer and other games that has the same aspect as Lawbreakers.
I kinda just want one of these "Hero" style shooters to...be serious. They're too happy and fun or rather too many of them are happy and fun, which makes them all just seem the same. Something with a bit of grit, gore and at least a somewhat compelling story could be cool. At least different.
No kidding! you have to be a sadistic killer to shoot someone every 20 seconds and the 23 year old grad student girl style in Fortnite, Overwatch and the like does not fit what is happening on the screen. TF2 spoiled the shit out of me.
I have watched and subscribed and liked a lot of your videos. I just have to say after all this time. Keep up the good work man. Honestly, I really don't go to any other game review sites. I get almost everything I need here. SO yeah, keep up the good work. Also, get Falcon to do more videos. Not that your not great but that guy cracks me up.
Unlikely, CliffyB is not popular with the Xbox community at the moment, specially the fans that would have bought the game, to support the creator of Gears.
according to me lawbreakers is not a substitute to overwatch its more like new quake fast and hardcore, but quake has better character design and in lawbreakers the characters don't even a good back story also quake is FTP and is completely balanced. If lawbreakers wants to live they have a lot of work to do
This game was my first pc game and I loved it I played it everyday then my pc got destroyed so I had to save up for new part and once I got the part and started up my new pc and downloaded the game I went into and all the sudden no one was playing it and I was so sad because I loved that game but all good things must come to an end
5:23 You're forgetting a pretty important aspect as well for the games that didn't necessarily start strong but ended up strong; fans that spread the word because it was an actually good game.
Calling Warframe small with a dedicated playerbase is underselling it a little. It has been regularly if not consistently been among the top ten most played games on steam at some points as high as 3rd. The game doesn't get a lot of media attention but it is a lot bigger than it seems. Lawbreakers is nowhere close to top ten most played and probably never will be.
Todesnuss they just dont know the cinderella story of the game the developer who prove you dont need a greedy ass money milker publisher just to make a great FPS game known still hype for PoE release this coming week
Isn’t it like, 30M registered accounts? I’m a pretty damn salty PS4 player (MR14 - roughly 380 hours) and it has been getting better over time; the issue is that it’s a hard and confusing game to get into and people mark it off as PTW as soon as they see the Prime Access when in reality all of that stuff can be earned in game and most primes don’t tend to boast that much better stats over the originals. (Silva and Aegis is of course exempt from this, but you see what I mean.) In all honestly PoE does look amazing and it should hopefully push the game either further, even noted by Mogamu as “Can we call this Warframe 2?” Maybe the player base will get bigger and potentially more popular... or people will still try and call it a ripoff of Destiny.
Ultimately never use people like “Mogamu” to judge a game. I’ve been playing on PC from the start and have everything but founders’ exclusives since I was a broke student at the time. Yes, it’s changed a lot over the years, but, it’s still boring for players like me.
+Deathly Wishes yea thats the other elephant in the room. I think an additional contributor to this games lack of success I think is due to people's tastes changing. Quake champions has been struggling as well even despite having most of the elements of what made a good quake game. Newer generations just arent that into it unfortunately :/
The game is good, it looks beautiful and gameplay is smooth. People just seem to like to hate on the game. Changes that I consider vital is to be able to choose individual game mode to play and to add ranked system. This would bring some people back for sure. Also maybe some community tournaments on monthly bases?
" People just seem to like to hate on the game" Yeah because the lead developer was being an ass-hat calling is game the future and disrespecting the Microsoft fans(the people who made GoW popular) It's a classic case of schadenfreude. That AND they made the company seem money hungry for switching from free to play to pay to enter. Even if the honestly had good reasons for doing it, no ones caring to care for what that reason is.
Im noy saying that people likes to hate the game doesnt exist. Trust me, there are people who are. but if they delivered a good game it probably wouldnt get so much hate in the first place.
blame overwatch? you rly going that low? what about paladins? how did they survived overwatch? i tell you how, they actually made the game GOOD, dirty bomb how did they survived overwatch? again they had what to offer...
The thing isn't the quality of gameplay, it's a mixture of the dev's making mistakes, and conveniently placed free and double exp weekends. Paladins survived on Hi-Rez's name, bitter tf2 players that didn't want to pay 40 usd and children like yourself that didn't have or didn't want to put up the lunch money to buy it. Dirty Bomb is on its way out out, and was released before Overwatch was announced, is free to play, and by the time Overwatch did put up their beta, it had a well established population. On a second note, learn to spell, get rid of the Kaplan shrine in your closet and do your grammar homework instead of getting bum befuddled over an opinion on the internet.
woow someone that fails to actually make a point and go for the spellchecking, i did not see that coming (sarcasm overloading), also you lost your credibility when you started with "and children like yourself" again my points are still standing... they survived because they actually had somehow ok-ish to good games...
In my honest opinion, LawBreakers is near perfect as far as an arena shooter is concerned. The developer BossKey is absolutely trying to make the game interesting and fun in new ways. You certainly can not compare it against call of duty or Overwatch. Everyone’s piss poor judgment has blinded them all to one simple fact; These are all kickass shooters in their own ways. Children’s minds just have to understand that LawBreakers is 100% more difficult to play and keep up with the speed of battles compared to the slow methodical pacing of some Overwatch matches. In LawBreakers it’s hit the enemy, hit the target, hit the enemy, etc. However as a 35 year old man, the beauty of a no frills “frag all enemies in sight without care” gameplay model coupled with a few “sports” like modes is fine. A few more maps and characters over the course of time and you’re set! I play this and Overwatch, and to be honest, the banter in both games gets cheesy and repetitive, as well as the music. People just need to play LawBreakers until they find a character they groove with. It’s a hell of a lotta fun
This - its mechanics scratch that arena itch in spite of loadouts, but arena shooters are already extremely niche, and this is essentially a hybrid arena shooter that tried to appeal to the wrong fps market
Agreed. I believe blizzard really attracted the younger audience with the cartoony visuals. They tend to be more fickle. Where as I want a challenging opponent and blistering gunplay
Those GMV Guys he shittalks everyone else in the scene, sometimes spreading fake rumors just to make them look bad, all that while talking and acting like he's the god of videogames.
Those GMV Guys he clearly said he isnt putting the game on Xbox because "fuck xbox". I'm on PC and that pissed me off, especially since he made gears of war which is an Xbox title.
Overwatch pisses me the hell off cause some characters have the most overpowering specials and there isn't shit you can do in some scenarios. With Lawbreakers, every person has a special but you can literally counter everything if you're skilled enough. Best way to put it
Macheeny ? I am good at ow? Characters have op specials in ow unlike lawbreakers. There's no counter for some stuff. How about you try not to start shit ma'am
What are you having a hard time countering in overwatch? Ultimate use and timing in Overwatch is it's own metagame ontop of the actual game. If you die from Genji's dragonblade think about your team composition and the skills your character has to counter that, Zenyatta's transcendence is one of the easiest and most well known counters to a lot of stuff. Sombra just got the ability to cancel a lot of other ultimates, increasing her value as well.
NeflewitzInc I hear you. I just don't like anyone to have so much power in a match. In ow I feel like ppl rely on that way way too much. Special abilities are like the key to turn around a match rather than the characters base abilities. I like an even match where just a person's skill alone can dominate the game..lawbreakers does a really really good job with balancing and skill
The reason I left was every match there was some insane ping. I played on US Eact Coast but with the lack I was experiencing it felt like trying to play in Asia
i'm playing it 2 months, every day for 4 hours (shuffle8). Only thing i want - for it to succeed. It boggles me, how that many ideas and such hard work can just go down in a drain, because people heard «game is dead» and didnt buy it, that made the game almost dead. matches r still forming, its alive, but i wish it did better. game is a blast. after 1500 hours of overwatch im happy to forget about overwatch.
100. i enjoy the game so much that i stomach long queues to play it. the fact the people are determining that it's like overwatch (its not) and that its dead is the reason its mostly dead, not because its bad. its actually really, really good
ridiculedrifts The comparisons to Overwatch are sometimes warrented. It's lootbox system is very similar to Overwatch's. It's definitely different than Overwatch but it isn't different enough to draw an audience. Why start a new multiplayer game by a smaller company that plays differently only to meet the same reward system and no ranked play?
"how that many ideas and such hard work can just go down in a drain" hmm 80% of the game is "borrowed" from other games and about hard work... you know how easy is today to make a game if you have a small team? yes if he was to work strictly alone....
i'm a gamedesigner, so yeah, it is so NOTY easy to make a game. Borrowing argument is bs, every game builds upon other games, there s still a lot of work and effort begind it. U just dont respect their work.
Been playing Rainbow since Dustline and it's hilarous to me when kids in my school think they're good because they got their first ace and constantly go 1-1 kd in casual
devs were WAY too cocky about a game that was above average but severely lacked content at launch
Yes. This game did lack a lot. If they put at least one game mode that everyone knew how to play at the beginning then it would have been different.
Overwatch is 1 year old and still has like 10 maps...
Overwatch waa the send but look at it now
yeah, when the dude roasted xbox players, ironically xbox is where people who love multiplayers gather, that people even play sea of thieves
*The problem is that there are tons of competitive games like Overwatch nowadays. It's a lot of competition.*
but it's not very much like overwatch at all. It was even stated that it wasn't in the video :D but i can understand that people only look skin deep into things and make false preconceptions before they even try it. sad world
ridiculedrifts overwatch for adults. That dude just love to copy other games.
Overwatch is trash. LB deserves more attentions
Arkantos he never once mentioned it was like overwatch he said there is a lot of competition stop assuming shit and read properly
Warframe doesnt have a small playerbase, its been in the steam top 10 multiple times...
While that is true, it seems somewhat unknown to those outside of that player base. I think it has a lot to do with people getting turned off from the game back when it was still new.
warframe have 115k players peak on steam with newest update
It used to be much smaller.
He was saying the player base was small at launch, but with updates/support it grew
I think paladins is more famous than lawbreakers at least people have heard of it
lol
Hadi Natour LMAO
good point there
Maybe they should make it free
Megamecha ProjectAlpha yep , at least they'll have players and they can also make a decent amount from in game purchases
If only they stuck with Free-to-play they would've gotten more player base. Look at how good Warframe's been doing.
They were screwed either way. People were completely against it being free to play when it was announced, then when it launched they were against having to pay for it.
welcome to humanity
yeah they should make a mmorpg
Chase
Lawbreakers as a FTP has a better ending than a payed game. At least FTP games like Warframe can evolve while most payed games with PvP or PvE longevity as its base are stagnant in their evolution.
Chase f2p won’t help. Quake champions is f2p and it’s dying
Making a shooting game on a market that is overwhelmed with More shooting games!... not wise in my opinion.
Well, the market is also looking for the next thing so... sometimes the risks lead to fortune, sometimes to ruin.
Shooting game?
toxic howl To be specific fps games
Mark White because sometimes we should try new things. Look at "guerrilla games" they switched from killzone (fps game) to Horizon (open adventure world game) the game was a big hit.
Steven C it was good but also a generic action/rpg game.
As a graphics designer for Lawbreakers, this upsets me. I worked so hard and put in so many months for this game. This truly breaks my heart.
Onyx VII7 Maybe if you had a better advertising department cause I've never even heard of this game until just watching this video.
Onyx VII7 can't please everyone unfortunately : /
I heard of this game a lot, it was on a lot of gaming channels (maybe it's just because the type of channels I watch) but I personally didn't like the game because it felt unbalanced and the zero gravity fast paced movement felt really janky to me in the open beta
Mhm, sure.

This game deserved better.
Matt agree
Yup
Just like my soul, it died.
Big Willy Billy you... you wanna talk about that buddy?
Big Willy Billy will puppies help?
Big Willy Billy
Sounds like Billy need a hug "open arms" bring it in buddy.
Big Willy Billy illuminati confirmed
Not on PS4 it didn’t.
It's actually a REALLY good game, but it lacks the personality of other hero shooters. But the game itself is incredibly fun.
Current stats: 24 players the last hour. 127 at 24 hour peak. The game is dead. Not even "small community" around it.
If there is a community and it's small, it's a small community.
Allan Dale I didn’t even know lawbreakers was out yet lmao. Completely forgot about it until now.
Allan Dale its like the “WoW killer” thing. Dont do it, it will only hurt your game
Oh man, I was thinking about buying it, but didn't realize the community was so small. Damn, Call of Overwatch seemed fun.
FlowUrbanFlow XD
It IS fun. Pick it up.
You should still give it a try
If you play PS4 you will have no problems. The community is slowly but steadily growing. If you’re the guy that can sprint jump kick slash and gun your way to 50-2 kills to deaths in other games, this is your church.
Overquake*
It's an ammazing game. You should definitely buy it.

Nobody ever mentions Siege... :( It has a huge growing community too.
I love siege, been playing since Dustline and have 1,332 hours and still play it and learn something new daily
A lot of people do actually. You're just not watching the right people. Try Downward Thrust
Rainbow six is boring lol just buy cod and play search and destroy..and get more content/game modes

I didn't even know about this game until a few days ago. Going to give it a shot since it looks so awesome and kind of the FPS I like.
don't recent patch made the game worse
Game is awesome. Recent patch actually balanced the game. Im Hit! When your game has less than 200 people log in daily that is when you should listen to the community
Al Malone they are listening to the community a lot dude. Just look on their forums and discord. Very active.
AnthonyacX I know I'm talking to the guy who said they shouldn't listen to the community
The game was so dead it was being advertised on Disney XD.
Their wasting marketing dollars on television?? No wonder no one knows about this game, television is dead...
Unknown Unknown nope it's dead
Do you mean, "It was being advertised on Disney, XD" as in you're laughing about it being on Disney or was it actually on the channel "Disney XD"?
Also that is insanely shocking considering how much swearing and gibs goes on in this game. Can you source this claim?
Disney XD or Disney xd
Esappx3 i found out they have the overwatch tournaments on disney xd at like 11 for 2 hours, that shit is lit
The answer is overwatch, everything that gets compared to overwatch wont do good e.g. battleborn, paladins, lawbreakers.
Ed uhhh paladins doing just fine actually
What's paladins
Narutoboiii A free to play hero shooter.
Sorta like overwatch but its more heavy on MOBA elements.
Nah, the problem is there are enough shooters out there...In addition to that, as you mentioned Overwatch exists as well as Paladins and TF2 which all have similar playstyles and do rather well. Plus unlike the last 2 things I mentioned, it costs money.
Exactly being called a hero shooter is a death sentence to every and all games that aren't overwatch it's tragic.
Never even knew this game shut down to be fully honest... I was actually really excited to try and but totally forgot about it until now.
coming back after an year, this breaks my heart that this could've been the game I wanted to play, still looks so cool compared to even some recent titles,RIP
Lawbreakers is honestly in my top favorite games. So underrated
This game is more dead than 75% of the animals that walk into a PETA shelter
Sum Dood well then 😂
Sum Dood What about for Honor that game died too
Lord Boros for honor still has players it's just that they're all shit heads
Gamer Guy Im one of those players... thanks
Imperial Herald hey man you can't lie for honors player base is the most toxic and no one is doing anything about it

Glum1Singer naaa hype is for the sheep, I know my framewar and what I am looking forward to is the bugs, as in every major update thus-far, good fun (I will say I do fancy making my own melee wep. that looks cool)
Me for ps4:(
xXAnti_ChaosXx well at least it may be less buggy, I tried to play warframe with a controller and to make a long story short it was shit experience.
DWolf Review just it coming out is enough hype for me
Maybe getting it out on xbox might help it
I doubt it
yea, we pc gamer beg for games, jk
Based on past sales figures, most games sell well on consoles than on PC, so it's possible that this game may find an audience with consoles players.
Pilot Bt7274 it wont
I mean it could..
I hated the zero grav fast paced controlling, it never felt like my character moved where I wanted to go and like I had full control, i loved the fast paced combat inside buildings where there wasnt people slinging around everywhere but when like 10 people are jumping and slinging around everywhere at high speeds and I don't feel like I have full control of my character movement it creates a very unfulfilling experience, this could just be me though
probably the same reason most casuals didn't play it. no waifus and dances in 2017, blasphemy
Neto Germano pumped for open world to drop this week!!
Yep 😂😂 at first I thought it would be a warframe clone 😂
I played way back and I've been told that it's changed so I consider my self a noob now and I was wondering is it noob friendly or is it going to take a while to get good
Neto Germano I thought warframe was one of the worst shooting games I've played. It was a tedious shitty grind why anyone thinks it's good is very beyond me.
SealthruX lol wut hahahaha guess i spot a RevXDev fan
Samething that happened to evolve
g jackson except evolve sucks and you had to pay for everything
Maybe, but the difference between them is Lawbreakers is decent. Evolve is just utter garbage.
Horrible media advertisement. Still don't know if it's even on console
everytime i watch a random video and warframe is brought up i bust a little
lol i stopped a year ago due to nothing i really wanted to do anymore and grind was boring
some like the grind others don't
Might want to check it out again this week they are about to release Plains of Eidolon an openworld free expansion with towns, quests, giant bosses roaming the planet, and more.
+Not a Can definitely gonna visit it but i will just have fun and not invest so much time into trade and sell
I am not a native English speaker, so when you are saying "bust a little" you are referring to "a nut" right?
I guess you could say Lawbreakers was broken itself
Cue Seinfeld
Hugh Mungus its ass
There's always that one comment LMAO
Hugh mungus what?!
Shame he could stop other from breaking but not himself
The youtube ad before this video was for overwatch.
And that's why guys...
ADVERTISING YOUR PRODUCT IS NECESSARY.
If it came out on Xbox I would buy it.
Aidan Cooper I'd wait for a free to play weekend
I wouldnt, does not look soo funny...
Aidan Cooper if you want to play it why not get a pc
He's well know in the Xbox Community. Not releasing the game on xbox is a great miss. And not everyone is a pc gamer.
Aidan Cooper Yas
Battleborn II: this time it’s personal
Miles S. now that's funny
Now I want to reinstall Lawbreakers
Partyharry and play with the 1 other person playing the game.
There about 100 or 150 playing the game everyday person who likes there own comment
Partyharry Why did you uninstall it?
I have watched and subscribed and liked a lot of your videos. I just have to say after all this time. Keep up the good work man. Honestly, I really don't go to any other game review sites. I get almost everything I need here. SO yeah, keep up the good work. Also, get Falcon to do more videos. Not that your not great but that guy cracks me up.
"The next billion dollar franchise"
So basically ending up like overwatch but shit
I think if it went to Xbox us at the Xbox community would play it.
i agree, but im almost ready to just call it "the 1st person shooter box" because that's about 75% of what eggsbauxs offers.
Spartan 0420 lol
Cliffy B literally said fuck Xbox in one of his interviews because of the way they treated his GoW series
Unlikely, CliffyB is not popular with the Xbox community at the moment, specially the fans that would have bought the game, to support the creator of Gears.
It was released at the wrong time
Damn, something about this game really turned people off. It looks like from Day 1, barely anyone even wanted to try it
It became a case study instead of a billion dollar franchise
according to me lawbreakers is not a substitute to overwatch its more like new quake fast and hardcore, but quake has better character design and in lawbreakers the characters don't even a good back story also quake is FTP and is completely balanced.
If lawbreakers wants to live they have a lot of work to do
Typo in the description? "but can how bad is it?"
I’m really really late but I still wish I could’ve played this game
This game was my first pc game and I loved it I played it everyday then my pc got destroyed so I had to save up for new part and once I got the part and started up my new pc and downloaded the game I went into and all the sudden no one was playing it and I was so sad because I loved that game but all good things must come to an end
5:23 You're forgetting a pretty important aspect as well for the games that didn't necessarily start strong but ended up strong; fans that spread the word because it was an actually good game.
Jo King Lawbreakers is a good game actually
Should of kept making Gears then at least you would've Sold
Lawbreakers is like in a Rainbow Six : Siege 1 health situation.....you either shoot it in the foot and kill it, or you revive it to 50 health.
I really really love this game, even though I have to wait for more than 5 mins to find a lobby
I really do enjoy the game and play it every once in a while. I dont care how they change it just bring back the players!
EA should buy Boss key then assign them to make a new (bad-ass) Army of Two game. Cliffy B is a Legend.
Bas Saliu was
I really like the game and I am one of those 200people playing it activly.
2:12 Is that a map from Lawbreakers? because I don't remember it
Just shows that crime doesn't pay.
Like most FtP games though, it gets new players in, they get bored because something new only comes around once a year, and move on.
The concurrent players do seem to fluctuate quite a bit, they are still consistently in a very different league than this game.
(Silva and Aegis is of course exempt from this, but you see what I mean.)
In all honestly PoE does look amazing and it should hopefully push the game either further, even noted by Mogamu as “Can we call this Warframe 2?” Maybe the player base will get bigger and potentially more popular... or people will still try and call it a ripoff of Destiny.
Ultimately never use people like “Mogamu” to judge a game. I’ve been playing on PC from the start and have everything but founders’ exclusives since I was a broke student at the time. Yes, it’s changed a lot over the years, but, it’s still boring for players like me.
I played it, had alot of fun. Stopped for months, came back to it and it was hard to pick up again. Very skillful game.
That Overwatch ad before the video starts

I liked Lawbreakers....
me too
Bob Tom its a great game. Too bad people dont like arena shooters anymore. Quake 3 Arena and the old unreal tournaments were great games
+Deathly Wishes yea thats the other elephant in the room. I think an additional contributor to this games lack of success I think is due to people's tastes changing. Quake champions has been struggling as well even despite having most of the elements of what made a good quake game. Newer generations just arent that into it unfortunately :/
I honestly love the game. I RARELY play multiplayer only shooters and this the first one I've put multiple hours in since Team Fortress 2.
I forgot I owned r6 siege thx gameranx I heard there was an update but rn i am hooked to ow
Overwatch, TF2 and Paladins those are the royalty of team hero shooters, nothing will overthrow them
I'll just stick with paladin's
haha i see a fellow filthy casual
whatdup
haha i see a fellow filthy nerd
with no social life whatdup
Do people play that? I tried to find a game once and couldn’t find a single person
Cthulhu for America really ? I wouldn't even need 30 second most of the time.
Cthulhu for America I never have issues on ps4
Well when your advertisements are based on insulting your potential player base, you aren't going to get a lot of people playing.
Game Switch and some back story ti the characters
It has no lore is another big issue but easy to solve just use small events or out of game content to build Lawbreaker world tf2 style
I saw it at E3 looked cool just never knew when it came out
People dont recognize a fun game and rather play hyped games
26 players 2 min ago
LMAO
There are less players playing the game than the amount of dollars it cost to buy the game.
The playerbase reached ZERO players for 5 hours yesterday. And there are still people who think the game can make a comeback.
Yeah, there's no hope for a comeback at this point. Not even Nexon wants anything to do with it anymore.
22 of them liked your comment
Brad Maxwell What happened to nexon?
i loved their game back in the time
Last time i was this early lawbreakers was in early access
I want this game to pull a r6 siege
Still wanna play when i get a pc though
I mostly blame Blizzard and their conveniently placed free weekends in overwatch
Nathan Vincent lol
Saltpork don't act like you blame overwatch is the murder when Lawbreakers sucks itself
blame overwatch? you rly going that low? what about paladins? how did they survived overwatch? i tell you how, they actually made the game GOOD, dirty bomb how did they survived overwatch? again they had what to offer...
On a second note, learn to spell, get rid of the Kaplan shrine in your closet and do your grammar homework instead of getting bum befuddled over an opinion on the internet.
woow someone that fails to actually make a point and go for the spellchecking, i did not see that coming (sarcasm overloading), also you lost your credibility when you started with "and children like yourself"
again my points are still standing... they survived because they actually had somehow ok-ish to good games...
Ryan Cody that's the problem imo it is meant for more hardcore players then casual players but the ones that make you money are the casual players
Nice message! Thanks for spreading the notice. I play LB myself and try support the game on every video about it I see
This - its mechanics scratch that arena itch in spite of loadouts, but arena shooters are already extremely niche, and this is essentially a hybrid arena shooter that tried to appeal to the wrong fps market
Agreed. I believe blizzard really attracted the younger audience with the cartoony visuals. They tend to be more fickle. Where as I want a challenging opponent and blistering gunplay
At least it’s better than destiny 2
I didn't know it was even out yet lol
I never even heard of lawbreakers until just now
Why do people not like Cliff? He seems like a down to earth decent guy with a lot of knowledge and experience in the game industry.
Those GMV Guys he shittalks everyone else in the scene, sometimes spreading fake rumors just to make them look bad, all that while talking and acting like he's the god of videogames.
Watch CrowbCat's video on Lawbreakers, it will explain everything
Those GMV Guys he clearly said he isnt putting the game on Xbox because "fuck xbox". I'm on PC and that pissed me off, especially since he made gears of war which is an Xbox title.
You people cant understand sarcasm.
Arman Taghehchian he was joking when he said that but ok
#makewraithfunagain
I wish.
He's getting tweaks. :)
How do I get this game? I can't find it in the Google Play Store
I remember seeing 'rip overwatch' when the trailer came out 😂😂
So sad about That Lawbreakers game, it was actually a good game too.
4:30 Harambe spotted in the shadows!
Dead meme.
So?
It still looks like him
A guy with a minion pfp talking about Harambe.... I want to throw up
Crystallking H it's dead. Stop. Also, speaking of death, minions make me wanna die.
What laws do they break?
First promo i saw from lawbreakers was about a week before release
Battleborne: "I'm the worst Overwatch rip-off."
LawBreakers: "Hold my margarita."
Overwatch pisses me the hell off cause some characters have the most overpowering specials and there isn't shit you can do in some scenarios. With Lawbreakers, every person has a special but you can literally counter everything if you're skilled enough. Best way to put it
B Fox lmao just get good at ow and stop whining
NeflewitzInc but that's kinda besides the point. People compare ow to this game and I promise you they are in no way similar.
i enjoyed this game so much during the beta
The reason I left was every match there was some insane ping. I played on US Eact Coast but with the lack I was experiencing it felt like trying to play in Asia
i'm playing it 2 months, every day for 4 hours (shuffle8). Only thing i want - for it to succeed. It boggles me, how that many ideas and such hard work can just go down in a drain, because people heard «game is dead» and didnt buy it, that made the game almost dead. matches r still forming, its alive, but i wish it did better. game is a blast. after 1500 hours of overwatch im happy to forget about overwatch.
100. i enjoy the game so much that i stomach long queues to play it. the fact the people are determining that it's like overwatch (its not) and that its dead is the reason its mostly dead, not because its bad. its actually really, really good
This game isn't fun. And how could you have forgotten about Overwatch if you are mentioning it? IRONY
ridiculedrifts The comparisons to Overwatch are sometimes warrented.
Silly you Rainbow 6 Siege is slowly dying (JK I've seen a spike in how many people play and talk about it at my school)
Been playing Rainbow since Dustline and it's hilarous to me when kids in my school think they're good because they got their first ace and constantly go 1-1 kd in casual
Clayton Smith never played the game but I wanna...
Didn't even realize it had released...
sounds very similar to the fiesta with evolve. Hope lawbreakers doesn't go down the same fate.
