+Shawn Adams Don't let anything stand in your way. It's an enjoyable career, if you get into a department that has management who support their officers.
Good luck in your career. Also, it doesn't matter what the color of your skin is. The fact that you want to be a police officer and do good for your community makes you a great person and citizen. This is coming from a white man and aspiring police officer. Race means nothing!
Victor Maitland wow, first of all everyone in that backseat isn't automatically a "shithead prisoner" Yeah the examples you provided of rapist i would agree they dont deserve it. but otherwise its innocent until proven guilty
Tampa Police Department holds a Citizens Police Academy which includes a Police ride along for an entire 12 hour shift or half shift. You are assigned a bullet proof vest so no worries. :( lol! You also get to volunteer to get Tased! One person in our group passed out. Poor guy. Oddly enough, people were a bit hesitant to step up after that. I wonder why? lol! Much respect to these guys who do it on the daily. Lots of other "fun" activities to demonstrate what police officers go through/experience to include a meet and greet/briefing from The Tampa Police Chief himself Eric Ward . Well, have a great weekend folks! To the folks in blue everywhere...Stay alert, Stay alive! Be safe out there!
Just curious here, with the position that the computer's monitor is placed, it's actually blocking the vents on the middle of the dash, does that mean he can't use the heater or air conditioner on the car, OR can he actually flip the monitor down so then he can use it??????
Haha, The ford Taurus is a V6, but its the SHO so it has a twin Turbos. It actually has more power than both the Charger R/T (Which is the Police interceptor they have in service) and the Crown Victoria. The R/T has 340-350 HP, the Crown Victoria has 235-260 HP, as the V6 SHO having 365 HP.
trent4421 Yes I know but fleet vehicles aren't usually expensive. I cant imagine an AWD Charger being cheap. Plus I like to think I know my cars and that one looked like a plain civilian Charger STX simply with a police paint job. Like I said I don't think Dodge even makes a Charger AWD period. And if they did make it special for PD's I don't see why they don't make a more expensive civilian one with an option to upgrade to AWD. Police Tahoe's have 4WD and so do the civilian ones.
Matt Bower Fleet vehicles ARE more expensive than regular models, but government vehicles are tax exempt, and the department probably gets grants to help with the costs.
I'm a HSI special agent and I drive a unmarked 2016 Dodge Charger and it goes very very fast and I have arrested a lot of criminals, thank you Dodge Charger I have arrested fugitives thanks to you xD
+mikeallenbrown1 man XP was trustworthy as hell though lol... I was diehard XP for a long time until 7 won me over after all the junk was worked out of it lol.... But I did a double take as well when it was booting up haha
+Jeff Snyder January of 2014, AWD and the BR9 brakes became optional on the Charger Pursuit. In Oct 2014, the new 2015 Pursuits came with the BR9 brakes as standard, and the only model available with the 5.7 Hemi and AWD. It is also the only vehicle being produced that uses the Chrysler A580 (formerly NAG1) 5-spd auto.
just noticed this charger is awd but that's because it's not a police package all police packages chargers have column mounted shifters witch this one clearly doesn't
Agreed, it's not an AHB. Even if it had the Street Appearance Package, it would have the column shifter. AWD Charger Pursuits were not available until January of 2014.
Idk if it's the cage or just all of the equipment, but that rattle everytime he hits a bump has to be annoying if ur driving all day. Such a loud ride.
The answer to your question is that the information is stored digitally and can not be accessed unless a memory chip is inserted into a computer by an investigator. Patrol cops dont have access to it.
+AirplaneFreak In the State of Wyoming a uniformed officer can drive a marked or unmarked car. A non-uniformed officer can also drive a marked or unmarked car. The only thing State law says is, in order for a "vehicle" to be used "primarily" for traffic enforcement, it must be "marked" so as to be readily identifiable. You can read about it in 31-5-928.
+AirplaneFreak I can't speak to laws in other states. You'd have to look up state statutes/codes in each state to determine what the laws saw officers can and can't drive. Generally, you see something restricting officers in unmarked cars from performing traffic stops unless they are in a uniform, but I doubt there is anything saying they can't drive an unmarked car around unless they are in uniform. But, again, you'd have to check the laws in each state. There is nothing federally that regulates this particular topic in any state.
+Devin Mincey These guys who are replying are freaking morons, Just because he is a detective doesn't mean he/they can or can't drive marked cars, It has nothing to do with any laws these dip shits are talking about. There are different types of detectives such as homicide, drug enforcement for example who don't need marked cars
+Eric Kotlyarov Why do you assume he pulls people over for that? You cant call him hypocritical without seeing it happen. He probably realizes he does it as well, and doesnt pull people over for it. Hell, in my town stop signs are basically just yields, even for the police. You only really come to a full stop if there are other cars there. Dont be judgmental for things you don't know.
So you're saying that because he does it it makes it legal? I don't now what kind of driving theory tests you guys do where you are, but a stop sign means come to a complete stop. I said he's hypocritical because he's supposed to show an example of the law since he enforces it. BigFatMeanie Looks like you have anger management problems, might wanna take care of that on your own time. Best of luck.
Where did I say it made it legal? I said it doesn't make him a hypocrite. Should he be cited for it? Absolutely. However there is no factual evidence to call him a hypocrite, as in no way does he claim for others to be breaking said law.
No, it didn't. Ford whined and cried to the MSP to make Dodge and Chevy run their test with all ESC and ETC fully on. Even with that, the Taurus (soon to be discontinued) averaged less than a half second quicker through the road course than the Charger, and tied in top speed.

Good luck, man! It's my dream career too. ;)
I've alway had being a police officer a career path for myself.
Black Onyx go apply, I joined up about 6 months ago.
Go for it. I start Friday with my local PD.
5:33 "it's a smooth ride" as the cameraman is bouncing around. 😂😂
The weirdest thing is that a black guy is in Wyoming

What you talking about? Lots of black people in Wyoming playing sports at the shitty UW college in Laramie
I've been in the beck of a police car for like 2 mins and I was sweating like a dog
Yeah they dont give two fuck, now they'll cage you like an animal. Hope they have an AC vent in there.. so sad..
@ RYAN-So appropriate.
Victor Maitland wow, first of all everyone in that backseat isn't automatically a "shithead prisoner" Yeah the examples you provided of rapist i would agree they dont deserve it. but otherwise its innocent until proven guilty
Oh man, I can't wait to be an officer!
That's one quality road you got there.

Shawn Lynch no its not
Detectives driving marked chargers?
Department of Public Safety They aren’t real “ Detectives “ it’s a rank. Here at SAPD you go from patrol officer, to detective, to sergeant
holy shit a black guy in a police front seat wow!
Fuck you bitch
Oh my god its a joke you pussbags.
As if you never seen a black cop before. You are lacking creativity when it comes to joking. Would you said that in public, I think not.
i said in public no problem cause im asian and i know how to fight
jay6157 Being Asian does not mean you know how to fight. You are basically throwing stereotypes in your sentence. how old are you kid?
I like how the video ends at 9:11
that cop was like sorry im used to having your type in the back
Good job man, nice video!
wait a minute... why the black is in the front?
Don't be racist
My dream is to become a police officer . My destiny is to help people and I realize that now .
Bruh is this weird the video is 9:11 long
conspiracy

Bruh i was litterly thinking about that
Just curious here, with the position that the computer's monitor is placed, it's actually blocking the vents on the middle of the dash, does that mean he can't use the heater or air conditioner on the car, OR can he actually flip the monitor down so then he can use it??????
YES THEY CAN USE THE HEAT AND AIR THE AIR DOESN'T EFFECT THE COMPUTER
The vents can be deflected away, or closed. there are additional vents on the outer side of the dash
Good thing one of caspers' finest pulled over to see if the person in that car was okay or needed anything (8:10)
Felony? What?
Its not strange to see a vehicle on the side of the road. If he had though, hed probably be accused of being a racist.
This guy could start a national police squad/academy.

agreed, that SHO blows all those away and has AWD. to bad it's not as intimidating
Bob Davis That is very true, but as soon as people see them in action they'll think twice about running lol.
Funny when a agency acts transparent yet encrypts all radio traffic.
LosRioDelMar I know. It's bullshit!
I wanted some action!
What Charger has AWD? I know it is some sort of Interceptor but it looks to be a older model Charger. I didn't think any of them had AWD.
Remember, it's a police vehicle. That usually means it is made especially for the police service.
trent4421 Yes I know but fleet vehicles aren't usually expensive. I cant imagine an AWD Charger being cheap. +mikeallenbrown1 man XP was trustworthy as hell though lol... I was diehard XP for a long time until 7 won me over after all the junk was worked out of it lol.... But I did a double take as well when it was booting up haha
+mikeallenbrown1 The department spent all that money on the charger, so they couldn't afford windows 7. ;) hahah
+ExposingBadDrivers The Charger is lower in.bid price than either the Taurus, Explorer, Caprice, or Tahoe, including AWD Chargers.
Still have an XP machine.
whats with that walmart cross tho
this charger is not awd dodge didn't make awd a option on the police package charger until on the 2014 model
No...they made the awd package on the 2010 models
Yea on the cilvian chargers but not the police package chargers

And the video is 9:11 long :D not sure if on purpose or just happened :D
Oh plz stop it
oh I like how ur not talking to the camera any more.. did you issue citations? I bet not..
u would love to ride in that get a great close up view of things
Casper huh? Im honestly surprised you guys didnt go for a squad car in Cheyenne, considering they have some of the more high tech shit.
Idk if it's the cage or just all of the equipment, but that rattle everytime he hits a bump has to be annoying if ur driving all day. Such a loud ride.
0:07
Is there another way to ride “in” a police car? “(From the inside)”
You should have asked him, how easy is it to deleted footage you don't want shown. Try to find out information which is not part of the tour process.
The answer to your question is that the information is stored digitally and can not be accessed unless a memory chip is inserted into a computer by an investigator. Patrol cops dont have access to it.
+Kyle Stamps And if footage is deleted, then the video log shows who deleted it, and the comments on why.
Nice Car
His first time in the front seat!
So I don't get it do they hunt ghosts??
Funny thing is he talks about the power of the hemi. The 3.5 ecoboost in the police interceptor is actually faster.
No, it isn't. Yearly tests with the MSP have proven that
As have tests run by the major auto mags !
Bruh do police officers have gps for when they get call outs and they don’t know where the place at
is that Casper Wyoming?
Yeah it is
I like cops and swat
I love police car
Am surprised that PD let him do the ride along dress up like that
Windows XP FTW!!!!
omg the video's length is 9:11 .-.
Thanks is the type of cop that'll lie on an affidavit just to boost his numbers up.
Is he a detective ?
come to chicago 10,11,5,6 districts its like stepping into hell
He can't decide if he's a detective or uniform officer, in a marked radio car.
He was the information pig for Casper not a detective regardless of what is said at the beginning of the video
Guys look how long this video goes for
Damn people must’ve forget to laugh
at 3:20 u will see a weed plant sticker on the black truck lol loud
i never saw a cop wear a tie.
The new 2016 Dodge Pursuit tho 😍😍😍
That's an old one.
+Ben Ominsky I am aware.
why is a detective driving a marked car
+AirplaneFreak Sooooo..... No. That is completely incorrect.

Black out tail lights but they claim they care about your safety and not profit of speeding tickets lmfao.
The time of the video is 911
Casper,WY?
The first time a black men rides in front in a police car
1st give ticket to yourself ... started running car without passenger having seat belt ticked
Ricky Kaushal get a life
When drones fly. DJI 4 right
You can only ticket for seat belt violations by the pigs in Wyoming if you are stopped for another violation
Pretty neat, but Windows XP!!!!
man im like everybody else, but seriosly thats tight all those gadgets I would turn the lights on and fuck with everthing
Lol same I would be tempted
+Colby Earnest This is what you say now. But whenever you would sit in there as a driver you would know what responsibility you wear on your Shoulder
+Brandon Atkins It is tempting... lol
+Brandon Atkins If don't have emergency or training you can be liablefor turn on the lights.
why are use that police car is not felling good that’s bananas
middle finger at 1:31
My dream is becoming Air Force Officer, not a fat belly donuter in a car 24/7...

that is so dank wierd

Video length _9:11__ minutes_...
*Illuminati confirmed*
lol his computer is a pile of shit took like 10 minutes to boot up lolol
Who else noticed the time of the video ended at 911 and they were with police and police were at 9/11 attack
Coincidence the video is 9:11 long?
Is it a coincidence that the video is 9:11 long
Its Funny How the length of the video is 9/11 =D
lol the eco boost 3.5 twin turbo v6 demolished the shitty 5.7 hemi. way faster.
No, it didn't. Ford whined and cried to the MSP to make Dodge and Chevy run their test with all ESC and ETC fully on. Even with that, the Taurus (soon to be discontinued) averaged less than a half second quicker through the road course than the Charger, and tied in top speed.

boring
What did you expect? A high-speed chase with a tourist inside?
GameHub Exactly. If that happened they would either not take the call or drop them off somewhere.
+Hoping For The Day no they wouldn't they would take him on whatever call they get
Christopher Iiams
No, you can't put a civilian in danger. If they took them on a high speed chase with the possible chance of a shoot out, then that would be pretty stupid and risking the live of the civilian.
+Hoping For The Day Ya they can you sign a waiver be for you go out with the cop that says if you are put into any danger or killed then you can't sue the department or city nor can your family sue
boy that is not a charger
Then what is it, because I'm sure that is a Dodge Charger.
maddog2622 chargers are supposed to have the brake lights that go all the way across, similier to a challenger
Google dodge charger brake lights you will see what I mean
+Penrose That is a Dodge Charger.
2006 - 2010 LX Charger.
the 2011 - 2014 LD Charger had the LED taillights, and the 2015+ Charger the taillights are a bit curvier.
