Nice installation job. I like the alley lights tucked in behind the pushbumper. The gear in the bottom drawer of the Setina storage unit looks like it was well done. Shame they cheaped out for a crappy laptop, though. I personally dislike those Setina rear storage units. Once you get more stuff in there, piled behind the storage drawer, you can't quickly open any of the drawers, etc. Troy Products has a great flip-up system that allows you to use a full-length drawer system and then flip it up to gain access to the spare tire, and you can also mount your electronics underneath. MUCH nicer and you get about 4x the # of square inches of organized storage. Overall, though - good looking truck!
Wow, that wiring is awesome. Great car. If i ever go to get me a PIU over to germany i am going to re-do this one! I guess my P71 would love to have a buddy like this *hehe* CVPI and PIU *wohoo* ^^
Those white LEDs on the fronts and sides of the pushbar are defintiely attention getters for responding to calls. U just have to remember to dull those down once on a stop or on a scene, especially at night. Too much light can be a bad thing at night, especially if you are standing outside. People might get blinded and run you over.
I was curious how the Interceptor drove & handled as well. It's smaller then a Tahoe or Suburban which can have advantages & disadvantages. Vary nice & clean set up +Kparr5, you did a great job showing everything in the video here, Thanks.
Chargèro In some areas the County might be VHF while the City is on a UHF or 800mhz system and the radios are not compatible with each other. Here in MN they went to a single statewide trucked system but prior to that some of the department's had multiple radios in their vehicles.
So does stage 3 just add in the white flashing front/side lights? And does the siren automatically cut off when put into park? Is that what I gathered from what you were doing by shifting the car?
+kparr5 I thought the pattern looked different but I wasn't 100% sure. The park kill is nice. The magnet on the bottom of the mic is nice as well, they have that in the new squads here. No more messing around trying to get it back into the slot. Is that a take home squad? I see you have XM so thats the only reason I ask. Unless they provide each squad with XM by some chance.
Thank you Dave. Always learning and looking for ways to improve the wiring. The way this vehicle was wired is now kinda old news and I'm simplifying things even further. Thanks again!
I just dread the fact that they have so much light on that car! The fog lights for example... so far so good, I love this video, I love you and I love the people supporting the blue!
+kparr5 That's pretty cool. Now did someone want this patrol car built specifically lie this or did the sheriff office just happen to set it up this way? The sheriff office's around me let the deputies pick what car\truck they want to drive then depending on whether it's marked, slicktop, or unmarked, they get to choose what lights they want added to it.
Sorry don't think I will be able too. I can tell you when the white pioneers are flashing people are pulling over 1 to 2 miles in front of me. Once during a low visibilty rain storm people were seeing me long before I ever saw their headlights

Personally think they should have left the Center Caps Chrome, Nice looking Unit for sure though, Good Work Stay Safe #supporttheblue

The wire management is beautiful!
Slick tops are always gonna be my favorite.
Nice clean install!! I like all the light options. Someone put a lot of thought into the combinations of lights. Nice vehicle.
Really cool my uncle showed me a tour of the Ford Taurus back when Suffolk county first got them but these are really cool SUVs
Amazing set up and im loving the gray
Wow who knew Pawnee was an actual place..
Absolument magnifique ces véhicules américains !!!
Best setup hands down!
They give me a car like that I'll work at any department lol

Lots of controls and options, the learning curve is there (as shown) but great looking PIU, thanks!
that's got an awesome light set up
I will admit that is a very good set up design and build. Thanks for the sneak peek. lol.

Very sophisticated. Nice video and SUV.
so since you live in Pawnee, do you know Ron Swanson?
He's in Kansas. Ron is in Indiana 😎
Very cool! Thanks forthe inside look.
Man I like the set up of this utility suv
Nice set up, I always wondered why some departments use more than one radio, unless they are for different systems.
Seems like a lot of extra clutter
Good question. Different departments use different frequencies UHF, VHF and so on. Most county departments monitor all surrounding counties

What are the takedown and alley lights? Those are SUPER bright?

Stage 3 also changes the flash pattern on the red/blue. I can also turn the pioneer flash on and off with a push button. Yes it has park kill enabled

Are these with the ballistic panels? Are they standard with the 2015+ Models or department specified.
No this vehicle is not equipped with those. The department must specifically order those
i think its overkill but i do love it! i wish the British law enforcement would get creative with their vehicles.
that wiring is cleannnnnnn. and i love the park siren mute feature
Thank you Dave. Always learning and looking for ways to improve the wiring. The way this vehicle was wired is now kinda old news and I'm simplifying things even further. Thanks again!
I grew up in Cleveland, OK (Pawnee County) But the tag says Kansas lol. Didn’t know there was more than one Pawnee County.
Miranda Lambert on the Radio! Nice!
I just dread the fact that they have so much light on that car! The fog lights for example... so far so good, I love this video, I love you and I love the people supporting the blue!
Man I can't wait until our dept gets their new fleet of utilities. :3
What kind of lights are those on the middle tray of the push bumper.
Should be getting mine within a week
Beautiful Video!
this car makes me want to be a police officer...but they're 2 or 4 in a car here in Europe :)
red/blue/clear on the push bar?
Curious.. how's you mount your satellite radio? Looks clean! Interested in doing the same to mine. Thanks
Tylr9313 bracket comes from pro-clip USA. I ran the wires through the air vent
What siren model is this ?
200w nergy series from Soundoff Signal
200 Watt SOS eNergy series remote head
Thanks !
Looks great! Just like a mobile office!
Oh god! This is video that i was looking for!
Appreciate you!
The police departments like LAPD, needs more lights, like this, the visibility counts, not only the siren.
+Momo le SoSo imagine this coming at you at night with all the lights on. you would be blind
Yes but at least i can see him
:') fair enough
If I lived where you did I'd have XM in my car too
What directional light bar and visor light bar is that. Thanks
nForce SOS bars. The rear is called nForce traffic controller
How are the LED's above the back license plate able to flash re/blue and also dual as scene lighting or whatever the white is?
They are the 5 wire nForce. So they are dual color and have the ability to trigger the second light as steady burn with one of the 5 wires
+kparr5 That's pretty cool. Now did someone want this patrol car built specifically lie this or did the sheriff office just happen to set it up this way?

+kparr5 can you by any chance list the specifics of all the equipment on this vehicle?
+Cody Niehaus I'll try to get that done soon
+kparr5 Can you by any chance just send me that in a message? That way we aren't throwing in a million comments in this video.
What is the red light inside the car for ?
It's easier on your eyes at night instead of a bright white light
equipment list?
Give me a thumbs up if the crown vic brought you hear.
I have a question. Why are there 3 light stages? I have really never understood that?
Jacob Weiss code 1 code 2 code 3
Also the first one is for officer safety when on a traffic stop etc.
I like the steering wheel siren system
Awesomeness. U should add some response videos if your able to.
Sorry don't think I will be able too. I can tell you when the white pioneers are flashing people are pulling over 1 to 2 miles in front of me. Once during a low visibilty rain storm people were seeing me long before I ever saw their headlights
Yeah. A lot of services down here are using the high intensity take downs on the liberty bars and I can see those things a good mile away
Thank you so much , Amazing
Very nicely done. 👌🏼
still prefer the older Tahoe over the latest Tahoe and fpui
Nicey equipped!
What's with the green?
It's not green it's white. Fords factory tint strip makes it appear green! I hate it
Nice but the new chargers just look mean as hell.
Thanks for sharing
Bright asf

Are you guys hiring?
So are you an actual sheriff?

Got to have Sirius satellite radio

Gbhyu
Radius radios? Must have a shitty budget. PODUNK USA.
waste of tax dollars
You want a refund for your .0000002% contribution?
Here's a penny, keep the change.
What are the white lights on the push bumper that flash and burn solid?
Whelen pioneers! Nano 6 LED on sides and Slimline 12 LED on the front. The are powered by Whelen Pioneer flasher
+kparr5 We use Rigids there. About the same price, but brighter and lifetime warranty, vs 5 yrs on the Whelens.
