His chancing of surviving a bullet would have still been significantly better than that of a normal human. But if he gets shot and stab a few times, he might only barely survive but with some medical attention. But he still had his healing factor, it’s not like it left, it was just pretty irrelevant because of how weakened it was.

Being knocked out by a gunshot to the head and resisting Jean's phoenix level heat dont necessarily contradict each other; bullet impact and intense heat or both different kinds of attacks and it is reasonable that he could be stronger versus one than the other.
Correct, one is thermal heat energy, while the bullet is pure kinetic energy forced into a pinpoint. Cap would have to channel his strikes into his fingertip to get that same effect as a bullet, I just don't think Caps has developed that skill.

Well you have to realize that MCU Captain America is not only significantly stronger than Wolverine, but also significantly stronger than comic book Captain America.
Cap in the comics is supposed to be at the peak of peak human, however, MCU Cap is most definitely superhuman, at least strength and durability wise. That’s if you don’t already consider comic book Cap superhuman….
When it comes to speed and agility, I think it’s actually pretty close between FOX Wolverine and MCU Cap though.
Strength and skill is where MCU Cap takes a fairly significant edge.

We don't know how much stamina Wolverine has, which plays in a big factor of tge fight, but also, Cap's attacks wont really do much either. Idk. This fight is hard to consider. Its like: (A Fighter with Insane Stamina VS A Experienced Fighter with Insane Durability)

I get what He’s saying. But Wolverine is more experienced, durable, and etc. but even with that, he’s has a point to were Logan relies more on his healing factor. But if this fight goes on, just like when he was fighting the silver samurai, he has to rely on his skill. Which cap more be a better fighter, Wolverine is way more experienced, and probably knows more fighting techniques to battle in his favor. An if he really wanted, he could take hits, while observing Steve’s fighting style, so he know how to contour. But if this fight does hit screens, I would love to see how it actually looks like.

Wolverines metal is FAR better. Vibranium ( I forgot how to spell it) is literally meant to take Force its tensile strength is strong but not its Shear strength, being that Wolverine is pretty damn strong all he needs is at least 6 feet of running time and he can just spear right through the shield. WE ALL KNOW THIS. Adamantium is WAY more dense than vibranium being that it has repeatedly stated that it is a third of the weight of steel.

DanCo I hope that you are thinking about making a superman vs goku rematch except using dbs goku from the Manga and anime, ok. Many fans want to see that rematch.
Logan is about 200 years old during the events of Logan. Cap is probably around 120, however old he was before being iced over for 70 years (is it 70? I think it's 70), plus the time from pre-Avengers to Endgame, not counting the ending scenes where he's an old man. Logan was in both World Wars, Vietnam, possibly Korea, and then not to mention the various mutant wars. Wolverine has more combat training and experience, and has had more experience fighting those just like him, Sabertooth, X-24, Death strike, Silver Samurai who could cut off his claws, Deadpool. Cap has an impressive list too with Thanos, Ultron, Red Skull, Crossbones, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Panther, etc. We have 2 genetically enhanced soldiers who have fought people far stronger than them. It comes down to the strategy and weapons. The claws come from a similar alloy as the shield, and as the shield can be disarmed, the claws can be cut off, and wolverines healing factor can be bypassed if his brain is destroyed.
It would be a good fight, they both gonna need a Beer after that.

I think people forget also because Wolverine doesn't often utilize it, since he knows he can take the beatings and just wait for his perfect moment to strike, that he's actually a way better fighter than it appears. He's served four wars and survived the Weapon X program. But he also studied the samurai arts. Captain America only comes off as the better fighter because he constantly uses his military skills whereas Wolverine picks and chooses his moments. But if he utilized all the training he has, Logan would trounce Captain America in that way as well.

I'm a big fan of cap and I know this would be a very long and difficult fight. But wolverine's healing factor would be the key to his win. Wolverine wins not easily though.
Cap held down a helicopter with just his boots breaking th laws of physics. Go back and watch his try to stop Bucky from taking off. All I could think was, Cap would need to be able to control his body like superman does to stop a vertical takeoff or... how did actual humans film this and think it made sense.

But Wolverine's skeleton is encased in adamantium which Logan has lived 104 years longer than Steve Rogers that has been encased in ice

Years ago they did that comic series Avengers vs X-Men and there was the one issue when Cap and Wolverine went toe to toe while on an Aeroplane. Cap was losing bad, Wolverine had cut throught his shield straps and was easily matching him strength wise and he says to cap "you really thought you could beat me?" and cap say's no i didnt but thats why i have te avengers. And then out of nowhere he I think it was Giant Man kicked wolverine out the plane, proper sneak attack!!!

could Cap decapitate Wolverine with his shield? If so, Cap could win. Otherwise, Wolverine's mutant abilities beat Cap's super-soldier enhancements. Don't see a way Cap could out scrap Wolverine in a way that would put him down long enough to take the win. Sooner or later Wolverine would get close enough to pop his claws and eviscerate the poor Captain.
In the comics Wolverine was decapitated a few times.
Each time when somebody placed Logan's head and body together he healed.
Logan wasn't able to retrieve his own head.
I don't think cap could or would do what it would take to kill Wolverine.

Also Captain America needs his shield in this fight as without it.Wolverine wins this all day every day.Which also limits Captain America actually throwing his shield offensively as if Wolverine is able to separate Captain America from his shield.He is done for as no way Captain America can separate Wolverine from his claws.Captain America will be forced to fight on the defensive here as he cannot close to melee range and , not get Wolverine claws sticking out of him.A fight to the death between these two icons let's get real Wolverine in this situation is literally a different kind of animal to Captain America.

Logan got better the more he appeared in movies. In part 1 he was very weak. X2 he was pretty good durability wise and increased in physical strength by a lot. By X3 he was nearly invincible and able to block on coming non energy based projectiles.
