    When BOS is specking different machines to be built , I wish they did that to accommodates both small and lite lifters, as well as tall and heavy lifters, this way you cover all spectrum of lifters. Example 80" height and 93" height, likewise 200lb stack and upto 300 lb stack. I like your Cable towers that can be used with the double pulleys for 1 to 1 or 2 to 1, but give us options for 93" and 300lb stacks. Whats great about the Cable towers is it can be attached to the front post of the rack with a spacer so it's wide enough to do proper flys, as it would have proper spacing like a functional trainer would.. Front cables just on front post of rack is just not wide enough. Aluminum pulleys are a nice touch, much smoother. Yes you folks are doing great things, just offer more options.

      @@BELLSOFSTEELI’m sorry if this is forward and not possible but could we potentially work together to sponsor East River High School in Orlando? I just started coaching their varsity lacrosse program and their weight room hasn’t been updated since 2009 and most of their racks are falling apart from what I’ve seen so far, I just started two weeks ago and I really want to get this program on its feet

    I would like to see how your incline bench fits if doing incline barbell press in the trainer. would it hit the center post?

    • @spaceotter7983
      @spaceotter7983 3 місяці тому

      I saw another review mention that and apparently incline bench is pretty hard/impossible to do in it at certain angles

  • @noonionsplease
    @noonionsplease Місяць тому

    I know it's probably impossible, but you've got to find a way for a spotter to fit in for bench press. If you could figure that out, I'd buy one of the 2.0v. The footprint is impressive, the height is perfect for a shorter garage, but you gotta be able to fit someone in that little space. Also, I watched Gluck's Gym. Not being able to incline is a pretty big deal as well. Beautiful machine though.

    • @BELLSOFSTEEL
      @BELLSOFSTEEL  22 дні тому

      We just did a test and a spotter could reasonably fit in the rack for bench spotting, but not incline benching, as the bench would be further in.

    can we add longer spotter arms to the front to use for benching? curious how stable it will be for 1-2 plates without bolting to ground?

    • @BELLSOFSTEEL
      @BELLSOFSTEEL  4 місяці тому +1

      Adding spotter arms to the front is 100% possible and safe to use as long as its bolted down. Ensuring that its secured will prevent any tipping accidents.

      They came out with a roller that fits and has a pin to lock it down so your can use that for your legs. I'm trying to measure to see if I can get away with just 1 instead of being too but 2, one on each side. I got my unit delivered the other day but still need to go and finish off setting up my gym so I haven't attempted to put it together yet

I have reached out and am waiting on 2 diff quotes on drywalling and finishing the inside off so I can get to building the all in one trainer.bht I may still be another month until it's fully ready to go. Would it be better to do this or combine two cable towers together space wise?

    • @BELLSOFSTEEL
      @BELLSOFSTEEL  4 місяці тому +1

      Both are rather similar but to be sure the all in one trainer is better per square foot. It doesn't have the feet that the cable towers do that may get in the way of squatting comfortably. Its better suited as a rack and a 4 cable machine offering cables high and low directly in the center which can create some really cool builds. The cable towers however would have the benefit of a double stack that can offer two different loads.

    • @balboa0621
      @balboa0621 4 місяці тому

      The two towers can be bolted to a wall and don't take up nearly the depth. My space is 22x12 and this would never work for me. The two towers did.

    • @b2284
      @b2284 5 місяців тому +2

      They said it's recommended and they kinda have to fit insurance reasons I'm sure. I'm gonna attempt to maybe secure it to my wall somehow, but they also said you can stack it to more of a plywood base to give it a larger footprint

    • @manuelbatrez2048

    • @b2284
      @b2284 5 місяців тому

      I mean I have seen videos of entire deadlift platforms they call them, just so you can lift and not be on soft padding but yeah thats basically it. I asked the question under the weight loaded one on their site and they basically told me that if you are able to secure it to a large piece of plywood or something that that would give it a large enough base to keep it secure. Also it has the weight plate folders on it, so if they remain loaded with extra plates I think you would be good there as well. I am going to see, I am trying to convert an old shed into a gym but it is gonna be touch to try and secure screws unless I am able to somehow get under it to add on the washer and nut on the bottom, there isnt a ton of room. So I may just get a long piece of plywood and et the entire thing on that and then Ill paint that but will be able to screw the trainer into that and lay it all ontop of my horestall mats. We will see how it ends up @@manuelbatrez2048

      @@BELLSOFSTEEL yup I realized I am able to figure out in the floor where the support beams run that hold up my shed floor so I am going to drill pilot holes into those 4x6's and use that to anchor the system down once I'm all set! The cable is what the weight limit is determined by. I think to be safe with insurance they usually undersell the capacity but I think the cables can go up higher that 200. Now the weight stack yeah your stuck there but you can get the pin attachment they have that will let you add a few plates to increase the weight of the stack
