The One’s performance suits its purpose perfectly. This is an evening / date scent. It stays close to skin, so you don’t overpower your partner during dinner/whatever. By the end of the night, only a trace remains. It’s not supposed to blast your date’s nose off.
This perfume last 12+h on my skin,projection as you say low,but scent trail man oh man very amazing during his full lifespam(2015 vintage version made in UK)

Enjoyable review of a D&G contemporary classic with typically detailed and accurate (in my experience) descriptions of scent, performance, and conveyed image I opted for more expensive California-clonified versions and like, wear classic Pour Homme more, but couldn't imagine not having access to this scent. Its effect on women of all ages is palpable even if they don't formally compliment. Stay safe.

Yes fragrance does not last.Its a disappointment to user.But now it's newer version DOLCE AND GABANA INTENSE is out but it is said the new version has just 20 percent more lasting power.Even the current GUERLAIN SHALIMAR EDP does not perform well even in colder climate.I think reformulations or cost cutting is the main reason.Sir your opinion?
@@ACSmellsGood Real natural French fragrances that tend to last long is a thing of the past.Only some strong sweet candy type fragrances last these days which are not liked by advanced noses.But still Aramis 900,Aramis Devin,Aramis tobbaco reserve,Geoffery beans both fragrances have better performance in winters.Guerlain habit rouge edp,s performance in latest batches is so bad But yes some oil based french perfumes clones have decent performance at fraction of originals price.

I have tried ( The One Mysterious Night if you can find it). I love it. I also heard (The One Royal Night has some good performance). I could not find it. From my take, these were made for the Middle East with Oud in both. The Oud I can vouch for in (The One Mysterious Night). It is blended exceptional and my First intro to the Oud note in cologne. Hope this helps.
I totally agree with Mysterious Night being a powerful and beautiful fragrance. I have reviewed that one. If you are looking for an alternative to The One EDP with better performance I would recommend Ovation by Alexandria Fragrance which I have done a comparison video of. Just look into my Playlists.
The problem for me with this is to my opinion the very moderate performance and it 's a mass perfume.. If you once smelled some excellent performing niche fragrances this is for me personally not interesting anymore .
Can't go wrong w/ either but I'd say if you're 35+ go w/ Man In Black but if you're 18-34 go with The One EDP. MIB is slightly more of a mature scent than The One. Although since you said long lasting, versatile, & dressed up I would recommend Bleu De Chanel EDP. The EDP version is very versatile, classy, & it will last a good 7-8 hours while projecting a little more the first 2 hours than The One would.
