Hello, thanks for the vid. As it's only my buttons that are damaged on my keyfob, presumably I can leave the transponder in the back of my old fob and just use the top part of the new one?

Sure you can do that as long as the two halves are compatible.

I am here today because of this small problem. You mentioned exactly what I have tried to do. Transfer just the new cover over because that is all that is faulty with the old one - it began to break up in the operating section (as seems to have happened on your video). The new cover fits, but does not want to (or able to) click shut - so it falls off easily. I thought I had bought an incorrect model fob, but they all seem to be like this. Do you have any tips that will make close it properly? Thank you for your video it is explicit.

Quando cambiate la batteria del telecomando ricordate di non rimuovere il "trasponder" ( un pezzettino minuscolo nero) altrimenti l'auto non partirà piu!
