People say it looks like DoW 3, but I actually see it more similar to DoW 2 (which I love and is my favorite RTS). I agree its a little more simplified, but I will have to judge it this weekend when I can play it :)
Even if it's not great, I hope it's the blueprint for a decent "DoW 4" equivalent in the future after 3 failure.

newbie to warhammer.. should I get this. looks overwhelming but graphics amazing
The story campaign walks you through the game pretty decently & slowly. There’s also a bestiary in the menu that you can look through to understand abilities & effects.
Just set battles up against Ai for some early battle tests. 👍
It's pretty easy to wrap your head around when you're in game playing with it, I think it's a lot of fun
man I'd love a new Warhammer RTS I could love but this looks very underwhelming to me. Will give it a try if I have a chance though.
It is fairly underwhelming. Instead of trying to make a good RTS, they made a console RTS instead, and it really, really shows. It is VERY feature-light and simplified.

Age of Sigmar is the best game GW makes these days, and it has the best miniatures.
But this game doesn't seem to really use AoS's strengths.

The only thing i like about this game is the UI - looks good, crisp and seems accessible for both m&kb and controller.
But i did tell myself i would never buy anything with the Age of Sigmar brand when GW shafted WFB, way back then. And this game doesn't have a hook to make me want to try it.

I was hoping for a dawn of war rts style but in AOS. This looks very boring/bland, basically no true base building and mass armies 🤦♂️.
Dow style but dow2 style, i play both dow and each is unique in its own gameplay, this game is dow2 but no cover, instead use the battlefield advantage, and a lot of skill on each unit which cost resources to use, so no skill spam to win, can build a lot of fort in middle map to support pushing
this looks "meh" at best, just like AoS in general.
This game is such a waste of potential. Even as Wacraft clone it would be 100x better than the form it came out in.
