IKEA sells floor lamps for about $9 and you would haven’t to cut the cords to it because it already come detached. It also doesn’t come with a “topper” so you literally use it as a pole. Great video and I always love your work 💕
Omg! You’re a creative genius. People have been asking me if I do columns and I’ve told them no because I love the organic look as well...but you just took balloon columns to the next level! I will definitely be including this in my service options. Thank you for the inspiration!

I will be hosting a friends baby shower and I am so nervous. I work with computer data so hands on is not my thing. I made some columns for my daughters birthday. Halfway through the party they started to lean...kids playing and touching them. I said to myself, I should have gone to Goodwill for some lamp poles and attach the balloons to that. So thank you for confirming Im not crazy or over thinking things!💜You are the best!🤗
The floor lamp.... awesome! This is soooo beautiful the roses add a final touch and it looked easy enough to do at home... I might need to practice first a few times though, lol.
Lessie S. Julien I agree with you, I am planning to make a stand using a dowel or shower rod then wood for base then I've watched this video. So easy and some lamps aren't expensive so that's good.

OMG! I told my bestie that I would do an installation in her yard for her son's 13th. Having never done this before, I had such a complicated plan for attaching the balloons to the pole (in my case a garden stake since this is going outside). Anywho, you simplified this so much for me! Love the organic look and that baby of yours....oh my heart! Thanks so much for the tips. XX

Absolutely beautiful (I live this)!!! I don't know if it will work but I was thinking that maybe I can attempt doing this using blinking white xmas lights wrapped around the lamp pole prior to attaching the balloons! Thank you for the tutorial!!!! 🤗
This is beautiful. Fyi I do columns all the time. I have that plastic column, put sand in the bottom instead of water and I tape the poles together so I can dismantle them when I need to. The bottom stick that goes in the base, glue it in and you should have no more problems.
Thanks for sharing your talent. I enjoy watching your videos. My question is using the 260s looks easier than attaching clusters using the low temp glue gun. Have you tried this method of clusters/260s for garland designs as well? 🤔🤔🤔

Hi Lakesha, thanks to this vlog I think I have a better understanding of what an organic garland is. What I thought of as a lumpy bumpy looking garland is organic. I prefer the organized looking garland. But I really like this one. And I like the one you did with the elephant. Thanks for broadening my understanding. Keep up the good work. This is the first time I've seen someone add flowers to a balloon arrangement and said, "That's cute," because usually, I think they're not needed. The whole thing is cute!
Elizabeth Ocana I did the same for my friend's sister, I did it a day before. And I think it depends where you gonna put it, if it's indoor it should be fine to do it days before so that the balloons won't be deflated. But if it's outdoor and in summer just do it a day before or on the day prior to the time of event, I did my cousin's baby shower garland yesterday and put it outdoor and in the afternoon some of the balloons deflated and turned foggy. If you don't want that to happen I believe you should use helium than electric pump.
Hey Lady so gorgeous as ALWAYS! I actually did this for one of my events -had a old sturdy lamp and used it for a balloon column and it turned out amazing. I was looking up the stands and alot of the reviews were mixed so I just used what I had and made it work! Great video and will definitely try to do this design I like this one better 😂💌💞

I love what your doing! but I was thinking that you could keep the stand as a lamp and then use those color changing light bulbs, that target also sells and add light to your column.
I'm so glad I came across this video my daughters sweet 16 is next month and we had to cancel her party so we are going to do a sweet 16 drive by and I'm going to decorate the front of the house with balloons and we have like 4 of those lamps lol ❤

Thanks! Yes I have, it works the same way. I’ve talked about it on my last two vlogs. I don’t use a hot glue gun for my garlands.
