How good is the tracking in Pavlov VR? For example, when aiming through the Pico 4 through the sight, there is a shift and the sight does not float much, I have problems with accurate aiming.

That was a great review. I am so glad that I pre-ordered the Quest 3, more than ever now. Thanks Thomas. I cant wait to get the game, Asgard's Wrath when it comes out. I already saw preview videos about it. It looks really awesome.
Why am I not purchasing a Quest3? Because Meta presently allows developers to restrict reviewers from playing the games they bought, online or at all, if they grade it poorly on the meta site. Any shared user of this headset will be banned too. Developpers have access to private data, which I view to be a serious breach of privacy. Abusive banning is done when reviewers mention boring identical ugly avatars or bad physics in a tennis game. Only Meta should be permitted to ban if a developer provides proof of wrongdoing.
Controllers are tracked via their inbuilt infra-red LEDs... yet they won't work in the dark? WHY?!?! There's a number of annoying decisions gone into the Quest 3. It's my favourite headset, but I have a list of 'stupid' and 'annoying' crap you have to work around : /

I instantly regretted selling my g2. And as usual, no one compared the two headsets that was the most interesting for me. Until now. Thank you. Meta 3 it will be, if the price could calm down alittle.
You are one of my favorite VR reviewers. Very pro and cool. Would you use the Quest 3 over Index for PCVR gaming? Do you think the freedom of wireless VR vs the quality and lifespan of cabled?
Thanks for the in-depth review. It mirrors my own feelings very well. You did have an edit-miss where you talk about the price it says Quest 2 on the screen instead of 3. Another reflection is how you are navigating menus. Have you tried just using the whole interface as a touchpad instead of doing the pinching motion when in hand tracking mode? For me getting around using hand tracking this way is so amazingly intuitive and I believe this is the way people will primarily navigate the menus moving forward.
Now i cant wait to get it myself, couldnt get enough to pre order it, but will get it very soon, here's hoping the depth oclusion uodate will be good for mixed reality apps

You need to check your eyes.., you can clearly see screen door on this device, resolution is quite low, I tested it at the shop today. The pico4 has less screen door, I have one at home, but colors are richer on the Quest3
Is the Pimax Crystal worth the extra cost? For PC VR, I have a 2080ti. Is the Quest 3 more GPU resource-intensive compared to the Quest 2? From the reviews I've heard, a Crystal requires a 4080/4090 for a decent experience. All things considered, is the Crystal worth upgrading my GPU and paying 3 times the price of the Quest 3? Thanks for your video.
Pimax now has a controller free Pimax Crystal for a lower price, and $1,000ish Varjo Aero, one has 6 DOF tracking internal and one needs Lighthouse (I think).
Unless someone is willing to pay alot more for the increased memory version. It makes more sense to say, if you have a quest 2 or pro to wait because there is very little reason to upgrade right now unless you have money to blow. It's memory sucks and there's no new content worth upgrading for.
Visuals, lenses, comfort, controllers without the rings that have messed my fingers up multiple times, speed. Easy upgrade. Too many people ive put on to the quest 2 stopped using shortly after because the visuals weren't what they expected. Q3 should be the only option you got for, IF you have the money. Even if not, i wouldn't go backwards to the Q2, save your money and just go for the Q3.
@@ImTooLockedIn I see your point. If you didn't play with your quest 2 because of comfort, then the quest 3 could make sense. But make sure you like the comfort of the quest 3 or you may find yourself in the same boat you were before. My biggest issue is a lack of content. It's like buying a PlayStation 6 but the only games you have are PlayStation 4 games. There should've been something more than just a headset to justify the upgrade. Maybe some new games or software would've been nice!
@@burnttoast4424 so I've been using it for the past two days and it's amazing bro honestly, a definite upgrade. The stock strap is comfortable enough for now until I can get something better, definitely doable. The lack of NEW content I do agree with. I said new because they did enhance quite a few games, and I personally waited for the quest 3 before I bought the new "dungeons of eternity" and it's superrrr fire on the quest 3. Honestly could've been an exclusive to the headset itself. That game alone shows off the hardwares power
Does that cable keep the quest3 from draining?? I have the kuject version of the cable but it drains alot faster on my Q3 compared to my Q2. Have you checked if the cable supports USB PD (18watt)? The kuject version of the cable only supports 10watts which is why it drains alot faster on the Q2 since the Q3 is much more power hungry.

Do the sunglasses improve the black levels?
For sure, but then you also lose global brightness... plus you will lose fov too
Hahaha
@@MrCrrispy I love that you thought I was serious :)
I use the same cable. However instead of plugging the USB-C into the computer, I plug it into the electric plug that comes with the Quest.
