THANK YOU for this wonderful interview. So meaningful after getting home from seeing the film on the big screen in a theater, so powerful and emotional and memorable. Love Leonard Cohen's words about Jesus (from the wikipedia article on Cohen)..."Cohen showed an interest in Jesus as a universal figure, saying, "I'm very fond of Jesus Christ. He may be the most beautiful guy who walked the face of this earth. Any guy who says 'Blessed are the poor. Blessed are the meek' has got to be a figure of unparalleled generosity and insight and madness ... A man who declared himself to stand among the thieves, the prostitutes and the homeless. His position cannot be comprehended. It is an inhuman generosity. A generosity that would overthrow the world if it was embraced because nothing would weather that compassion. I'm not trying to alter the Jewish view of Jesus Christ. But to me, in spite of what I know about the history of legal Christianity, the figure of the man has touched me."[189]"
In one of his interviews in Scandinavia (?), when he was reminded of his concert in Tel Aviv in 1973 and asked if he'll sing in Israel again, Leonard Cohen answered, - "yes, if I can sing for both the Jewish and the Palestinians ."
I love Leonard Cohen and I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Regrettably, I missed the film on its short run in Manchester, UK, but I'm very much looking forward to the DVD/Blu-ray release. One thing that puzzles me: You say Leonard's money was pilfered "legally". If that is the case, why was he potentially facing jail time if he didn't earn it all back?

Terry, I have been wanting to see your full interview with Jeff Buckley, for years. Is there any way that you can get a copy of it?
