i just picked again the old black sweater that was supposed to be on a to-sell or to-donate list of ours because i got super inspired by your fits 🥺 i also regret not hoarding many basic shirts. it perfectly matched with anything! i’m also thinking of borrowing my brother’s or father’s basic polos 😁 also buying more skirts and light colored shorts 😅

Timeless. I wish you would give more suggestion for wardrobes at warmer places. At my place the average temp is 28-30 C so coat and jumper might not be needed, but we cannot wear string and crops all the time due to culture. I tend to stick to simple top-bot combo or dress but quickly run out of look.

Well done! I agree with these choices and have an almost identical core wardrobe. If I may make a suggestion or two...I would add a jean jacket if you're someone who likes to take a dress or trousers and "casualize" the look, perhaps with sneakers or Chelsea boots, on those days you want to be a little more low-key. Another good add would be proper leggings (actual fitted pants, not workout tights) as well as a 2nd pair in leather. You now have a cohesive and complete core wardrobe of timeless, essential pieces that are the foundation for hundreds, yes hundreds of outfits covering all seasons and occasions. Just add in a couple of pieces, seasonally (color, pattern, a subtle nod to a trend) to keep your wardrobe current and your closet will always serve up gorgeous outfit combinations for you to choose from. I have been searching for timeless capsule wardrobe bottoms like pants and trousers or skirts (long not a fan of my legs lol) but theres really much explanation on what would be considered as capsule wardrobe or timeless bottoms ie. what cuts/ materials or styles dont go out of style. Im super late but for me it helped to thrift truly good quality basics. I looked for thick fabrics (not see through) and cuts that hug my body in all the right places. Also Alexandra girly talks video about jeans really changed how I shop jeans.
