- Filmed in the Gretsch Drums factory in Ridgeland, South Carolina for your viewing and listening pleasure, we proudly present the British, first-call drummer demonstrating the virtues of this versatile, best-kept secret. If you haven’t discovered Brooklyn Series Drums, now is the time!
Gretsch Drums just sound like drums should! They always sound great!
His choice of recording kit ... at the moment. Translation: My choice of recording kit till someone else gives him a free kit and some cash. Hahahaha...
...studio recordings are often played on vintage kits or other drums that can achieve the best sound. When a musician endorses equipment, they need to promote the brand records don't promote the brand. Live shows do.. clinics do....videos do....where people can see you behind the kit or playing the cymbals / sticks, etc you are endorsing. Also...few drummers actually get the gear for free. Depending on how big of a star they are...they might only get a discount.
I watch these videos with all these amazing drummers and I go to my kit. It just looks at me and says "DON'T TOUCH MEEEE!
Which BROOKLYN snare was that. ?
They are beautiful and they sound great. Can we take a moment to appreciate the light open touch demonstrated here as contributing to the open sound of everything please? Nothing buried, nothing strained, beautiful.
This applies to every well made drum, any manufacturer, any wood.
Correct, nothing special here. Just very good drums
Mr. Brazil, a very talented drummer. See how loose he is? That's an important trait when youre playing a drumset, that and stick control.
Very nice indeed...beautiful sound
WOW! The tone of those drums are amazing!
Gretsch forever
Question: Are the shells also a bit undersized like Sonor or TAMA do?
Curious why he and Stanton feel the need to downplay the Broadkaster series?
This is how you should demonstrate a drum set.
Clean and open love my Brooklyns!!
Me too…!!❤️🥁❤️
Black Country Depth. Can't beat it.
Great sound Great play!
Hold up, did that say gretsch drums are made in America? I like that

Wow, 2 clowns disliked it? They mustn't have ears!
they probably work at dw
danablett ha, yup!!
Probably not about the kit but the basic drum demonstration almost any drummer can play what hes playing . Just a thought.. nice sounding kit tho!!
@@darrenproctor1687 Id argue most drummers can play this, but most don’t play it that accurately..
To me the perfect Gretsch combination, would be the Brooklyns and a Gretsch Bronze snare.
Funny how the left bd is miked but there's no pedal on it...
there is. On his main bass drum with with an extension.
Since when does shafel need a double paddle
What’s the snare ?
Would love to hear the full performance
Bing drum sound
Are those 24' and 22' bass drums? Or is 26' the bigger one?
Looks to me like 26" and 24".
