- We come across some creepy weird and unusual things in our desert travels. Some are downright crazy! Abandoned cars, ghost towns, dead animals. None more strange, in a funny way, than the "Hippie Freak Cars" not far past the infamous Area 51.The freaky cars are in Goldfield Nevada. It's on the way from Las Vegas to Reno on Highway 95. Hahaha...it must have taken someone a lot of time to build these things! They're actually quite cool...and I think they may have been driven at one time or another to the Burning Man Festival. ~Kenneth King Bear
LOL! These cars! I find your channel very entertaining and interesting. I love the desert.
Way cool video! I have many stills of these strange and unusual vehicles!
Hahahaha...hi Assa! I'm over at your channel now....watching your new video! Great intro!! ~KK
MAD MAX MOBILES..!! Had to see this again...
If you ever pass through Goldfield again, stop by the radio station and say hello to Carl. He runs the radio station and is the nicest guy in the world. He knows EVERYTHING about Goldfield, NV.
That's great! I'm watched that few times before but I ad no time left any comments! Also you have same clip in another video is I remember right! The USA and the Canada full of great things! All the best! Assa!
Well there's no doubt we'll be passin' through Goldfield again...and I'll do that for sure!!! Thanks. ~Kenneth
old cars from burning man
America is so much more than we ever see, what an amazing country!
kind of reminds me of the mad max cars a little bit lol
By the way (5 months later....sorry for tardy 2nd response) thanks for that info! Although this fellow hasn't used these particular "Art Cars" at any recent burning Man festival....you were right on the money! I've added Burning Man Art Cars to the title...and mentioned it (Burning Man Festival) in the description! ~Kenneth
This looks like breaking bad
Burning man beautiful experience
At least you guys out west try to be creative with your old vehicles. Here in Maryland we just leave them to rot in our yards.
Hahahaha...I'm thinkin you guys may have made the better choice there Tom!! ~KJ
we have personality here in nevada. I think you should go find some lmao
Hahahaha....I remember when the cars were parked in a different location in town. They've been part of Goldfield as far back as I remember. We started comin' this way regularly back in 1987....so it's been a long time! Ya....the desert is awesome! Always some kind of amazing thing to see! ~K
Bizarre. Pretty Bizarre
I'm sure we'd say the same of New Zealand too though DT! Of course, America has the additional square mileage....it's so vast. Well...ALL of North America actually. So many wide open spaces!! So many time zones...temperate zones. This area I highlight in my vids (the Desert Southwest) is a unique area though I must say. Nothing quite like it anywhere. Have a great week! ~Kenneth
Mean this place is junkyard
LOL at end, thanks for WTACHING
My grandparents live there and those cars are old and the guy who made them just got bored and made me
I've driven by those cars! I know just where it is. That's funny. Always want to stop and look but seem to be in a hurry. Isn't Goldfield weird too?
Hahaha...true Jimmy! And these vehicles in the video...were the first one's designed by the extra terrestrial's in their attempt to "blend into society". Hahahahaha......FAIL! ~Kenneth

That's fine by me!! hahaha....we'll now call it "Boo's Giraffe"!! Sound good? Hahahaha. ~KJ
I think they probably just have more imagination than you, all you can think of is driving around with a video camera capturing what someone else has done !
35 second video. Goodness could have at least show more! :(
someone was bored lol

Hahaha....now you're makin' me feel REAL inferior...I spent 15 years restoring cars!! Everything under the sun. Heck...I've probably OWNED a dozen 81 Camaro's. Hahahahaha.
I was lookin' in the "front row"!! I see it back there with the hood and doors off...tarp on the roof! Redeemed in the nick of time! Whew!! ~Kenneth
