If you are in a neighborhood that has power and the map shows that you have power, it does not mean that YOU or or neighbors have power. There have been other reports from others saying, “hey the people across the street all have power and the map shows us as having power, why don’t we on this side have any power?” Whyisnt the media looking into the accuracy of these outage numbers? Centerpoint is lying!

I believe 64 house in Harvest Bend near sky bird are still without power would call and they said it was just my house and they told my neighbors the same thing
First one to hold accountable is the governor it's not first time we lost power for hurricane or bad weather like that and they did nothing to the center point to improve their service we houstonian deserve better than that
Mobile, AL here; when Frederic came straight up Mobile Bay in 1979, Mobile and Baldwin counties were completely destroyed as it was a category 4 storm. I know it’s hot but i saw generators in the video be thankful for them and stop crying. We had no power for 3 weeks. Dad had a welding generator that was quickly pressed into service that powered the basics we didn’t lose any food but we had lights, refrigeration, and power for the well pump so we could all take a shower. We had no power for 3 weeks and y’all are crying and whining after no power for 8 days give me a break!! I have no sympathy for any of you.
$50-$70 a day look at it like u on a vacation. It cost more to stay in a hotel/airbnb a night than ur own home during power outage. Have to have perspective😢
They could of gotten a ice chest and put their cold stuff in it and covered it with ice. Anyone that has done camping will know what I'm talking about. Run the generator if you need to cook something.

Neither side of the political isle cares. How this is normal behavior in 2024 and didn’t seem like an issue before is beyond me. I asked my parents and they never had issues like this when Hurricanes/Storms hit nearby.

A big 12kw generator can use up like 6-10 gallons in just 10hrs. Do the math. 12-25 gallons a day of gas at current fuel prices.
