Thank you for all the detail on this. I am about to rebuild my hubs this took away a lot of my confusion and apprehension. Subscribing and saving the video.
Great video. When you torqued your axle in with the special socket you said to torque to 50 ft/lbs, then back it off 45° and said 1/4 turn is 45°. It’s not. 1/4 of a turn is 90°.
I didn’t mean to say that to be a jerk or point out flaws. I meant to add to check and make sure that it’s not too loose. I’m sure it’s fine, but don’t want those too sloppy.
Great video man!!! Every time I work on my truck, if I can't find out what to do or what the problem is I've always come to you first and watch watch your videos. I can't wait to see the next video where you do a 4x4 transmission swap.
Thanks man!🤙 I’m always trying to put out good content. I’m not sure when I’ll get around to swapping to the 4x4 transmission. I’ll definitely buy it this year though.
Just as an FYI. The drivers side spring perch didn't fit because you have it turned the wrong direction. The spring perch is also the lower shock mount for the factory setup, if you notice the other side of the perch is straight.
Make sure you put antiseize or grease on the parts of the locking hubs, just picked up the stage 1 cut and turn beams from solo motorsports cant wait to tear mine apart again lol
Missed the veery light coat grease on the outside of the manual hub say it’s not metal on metal… perfect install video. That axel shaft joint in the middle will mess with people too. I just wanted to know how the fox shocks ride because might be an upgrade for me since yours is not an actual huge lift over stock
Hey man, awesome videos I see you are very detailed in your work. Just want to ask if it would be possible to camshaft swap a 5.0 96 f150 without removing the engine, thanks!
I’ve seen guys swap cam shafts with the engine installed but you need room in front of the engine to pull it out. This means you would need to remove the radiator and move the condenser to the side. Then remove the grille.
The Beilstein shocks are a huge upgrade over any of the twin tube or cheaper mono tube shocks. i’ve always been happy with all the Bilsteins. I’ve installed on vehicles.
Hey Stevie, You post great videos!. I bought a 92 f150 5.0 a few years ago. I redid the entire fuel system but the truck doesn't want to start back up after running for 10-15mins. PSI at idle is 34-35 psi. Not sure if you have some idea on what it could be but any info would be much appreciated. Also, The check engine light is on but i can't pull codes from the PCM. I hear it connect but no codes.
Yes it's something guys who have strut type coils do for clearance. Just take a look at your coilbucket, think up a quick T shaped tab and then put heat shrink around some hose clamps to keep from scratching your resi. Clamp resi to tab with the hose clamps, and you're done. The resi will be horizontal, btw. Companies like Fox and King make this as an accessory.
I’m not entirely sure since it came with the kit. I think you just look up the fox 2.0 remote reservoir shock and there might just be different mounting options for the top and bottom.

You are most welcome! Glad you found it helpful!
Thanks!🤙
You’re the man

Hahaha! You are correct that was my mistake. So definitely 1/8 turn/ 45°.

@@JWFX4 You’re good! I didn’t take it as a dig. Actually I used your advise to do the passenger side correctly!

Fantastic video. premium content as always. Saving this for when I need to redo my hubs!
Thanks man!🤙 I appreciate it. I’ll probably put out a separate 4x4 hub video when I finish the passenger side.
Slayin bro!
Thanks John!🤙

Are you sure about that? The perches are labeled L and R.
@@TheMinuteMasters LOL..... on second thought.... no I've got it all wrong. I think that's the sway bar mounting point on the perch. My bad.
Great information and work, really appreciate the effort you take to produce those video clips. So much to learn!!
👍👍😁😁
Thanks man!🤙 I really appreciate it. This video was a lot of work to put together. Not to mention the whole series.

Good point! I’ll have an add a little more.
Nice!!👌

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll have to add that.
I will definitely do a first drive video and talk about the shocks and such.
Curious if you've seen the black powder coated front bumper on Amazon the HECASA NN628? Hoping you'll review it before I buy it lol😅
Hahaha! I’m going the desolate Motorsports pre runner front bumper in the future.
Awesome

How do you like the Bilstein shocks? Notice a difference?

What did you replace in fuel system?
Are you using a code reader or are you counting light flashes?
Move your resi to the top of the coilbucket to avoid tire rubbing...
Good idea! Is there a good way to mount it there?

@@timlabarr6131 I like the idea. I’ll look for that T accessory from Fox. I’m not a fan of where the resi sits right now.
I don’t see how you’re able to work with that giant G Shock on. Seems like I always have to take mine off to squeeze my hand into tight spaces.
That’s actually what I end up doing. Lol
What is the part number to the fox 2.0's?
I’m not entirely sure since it came with the kit. I think you just look up the fox 2.0 remote reservoir shock and there might just be different mounting options for the top and bottom.
