    I ordered a Trek Marlin +6 in color red, can’t wait to get it. This will be my commuter bike and the bike I take on XC trails and more flowy trails. I have a Colossus N8E for the rowdy stuff but I’m excited for this bike and the upgrades it’ll eventually have.

    I am going to buy it and transport it to the mountains of Morocco. Love and greetings from Amsterdam. Finally a affordable bike. Great job!

    I test rode one this morning and it’s amazing!! And a heck of a deal since $2,500 is the same price as their much simpler FX city E bike.

    I’ve had an Xcaliber 9 before but sold it a year ago. Have been commuting on an FX2 but I miss trail riding and the forrest so I ordered a Marlin+ 8 today. Can’t wait…

    Recently ordered one. I compared to a powerfly and didn't like the powerfly as it felt much heavier and the battery rattles in the frame. The Marlin + felt lighter and nimbler and was very quiet and I couldn't even hear the motor. Much better deal and well-made bike and even slightly cheaper too.

    This looks really good, need to try one out. My first 29er was a Marlin many years back!

    Marlin 8+ just might be my next bike. The Powerfly 4 Gen 4 with the non-color Intuvia is a non-starter. The reluctance of Trek to have more Class 3 bikes is also frustrating. The Powerfly line should all be Class 3 like the Turbo Tero. The service bike is Class 3 so there is no reason for the others not to be.

    I have been waiting for this product. The black one looks like my trek marlin 5. I love the aesthetic of that bike. I've had it for over 7 years now and love it. I can't wait to purchase a marlin 6+

    My last Marlin was stolen. I’m interested in this one as I’m getting back into mountain biking and don’t want to spend so much on an EV bike but always trust the Trek brand

      what thats so unfortunate.. Treks are super expensive. I purchased the most basic one for like $600.00.. not sure how these bikes are considered affordable ... this guy keeps saying affordable...

    Its more of a cruiser than a mountain bike, look at the bottom bracket placement, going to struggle with the rocks and pedal strikes. Looks good though if you're not looking to rip it down black diamonds ,could double as a commuter.

      Marlin+ is perfect to ride around town and throw in laps at your local trails, but if you're looking to tackle black diamond trail at a bike park, you'll probably be best suited on something like a Rail that has more travel to eat through the rough stuff.

    • @d1d1ka29
      @d1d1ka29 2 місяці тому +1

      You say that but is really good on trails, and I've even taken it silly enduro trails and I love it, I have to admit, I had 1 or 2 pedal strikes, but no more than I would've had smaking my rail in to the ground..

    Why are they never in stock!? It’s a brand new bike, why can’t we buy to reserve the next batch online? I dealt with not being able to get the Powerfly in the size I wanted for the last 2 years and now that this is released I’m thinking oh great it’s brand new they’ll have my size in stock for sure. Nope.

    Biggest issue is the non removable battery. Unless you plan to store your bike in a warm environment over the winter months, it's not going to last long.

    • @Mark-jb9hx
      @Mark-jb9hx 7 місяців тому +7

      It is a non-issue. The battery can be removed for long term storage with a couple of screws.

    • @trekbikes
      @trekbikes  6 місяців тому +1

      For riders needing a removable battery, bikes like our Powerfly and Rail are great options if you need to remove your battery often. But the battery on the Marlin+ can be removed for service through your local Trek retailer.

    $3,600 for this is pretty steep. For the same price you can get a Siskiu T7e. Btw the frame is alpha gold, not platinum.
