Super SUPER helpful video! Every step perfectly described and demonstrated. EXTREMELY helpful! In my case (fault 75), the pressure sensor was clearly the culprit, and once removed it was also very obviously gunked-up, so I blasted some WD40 in the small hole, prodded in the hole with the bristles of a paint brush, blasted more WD40 in there (dirt did come out) rinsed it (I made sure not to get any of this stuff on the electrical connection), wiped it down, re-fitted it and it worked straight away. I'll update this comment if it happens to fail quickly, but it's been running an hour now and I'm hopeful. A note for any users who are worried their boiler doesn't look like the one in the video... I have the Vaillant Ecotec Plus 630, and the front panel looks very different from the one in the video. However, don't be put off by that! Once inside, the relevant bits are EXACTLY the same. And process is exactly the same. It's worth having a look in there and, maybe, trying to clean the sensor (if you don't mind taking the risk of having to repeat the process again soon, replacing it with a new sensor). VERY MANY thanks again for this EXTREMELY helpful video! Hope your weekend is going very well indeed (much deserved) 😃
This is the video I was looking for ages man :D Just watched it and changed the pressure sensor, took about 10 minutes all in all. I drained the whole system instead of just draining the boiler only, safer that way :) cheers n thumbs up
Anyone got this problem - the sensor don't even need changing, just take the sensor out, put it in vinegar for an hour, it will drain the dirt out, put it back and save another £20 pound ;) cheers
Finally an answer on my question! I noticed a significant difference in the electronic and the analogue pressure gauge value. With replacing the electronic pressure sensor, the problem is solved. Thank you!
sir I have a question, this aqua signal ignites the gas boiler but is it a continous signal or just a one time ? the reason i am asking this is , i am doing a project and i have connected a electric heater to heat water but i dont want to run both heaters at same time and want to save my gas money so i figured if i just block this aqua signal , i can stop gas boiler from igniting ! so please if you reply it will be a huge help ! thanks in advance!!
Can you please tell me the size of the small moveable spanner....is it 4 or 6 inch, and the opening size... thanks..already subbed, top work and explanations

You gained a subscriber my friend. My Valliant 838 has no drain cock so what would I do to drain the boiler? Otherwise I guess I can't do this
A customer watched this video and didnt hear the drain down part. Water pissed out and damaged the board. 🤭
Omg🤣
Legend
Thanks , Sensor replaced . 75 fault now gone. £22 not the £150 quoted ..
Seems fair you at least send me £50 then 😉
@@advancedboilertraining If I could would 👍
Turn off power to boiler first then check for safe isolation across L-N before working inside case.
How do I drain the boiler?
Hey go on my channel, I have a video solely on draining this boiler
U got to empty water from boiler before u remove it
Yes you do👍
he did say that
That's not the gas value so you wouldn't have to turn the gas off to get to it
I don’t think I mentioned anything about turning off the gas?
What time on the vid did I say it, I’ll check
