I'm in the exact same situation right now! I've got lucky and casually found a perfect forest warrior on a day 3 of the league, and when I've been swapping my gear in Niko's location, I've got scammed in the same way! And now I farmed like a week of ritual farming and still cannot found it! Thank you for highlighting this issue
Man that sucks I wish the itemized ones came back as items on the ground instead I lost a perfect tiger the other day from the trigger wand and it really makes you lose motivation
Like me trying to get harvest Spector, they always despawn before I can raise them. Just have Descarte save all corpses when you encounter them and you assign them to the gem it self like like a sub equipment slot of corpses to that gem
I did this too btw with a crappy dark marionette setup on ssf/priv league. I weapon swapped and had the spectres on my shield. Cheap lesson for me but yeah I shouldn’t have been running guardian blessing anyways probably on the char
Yup that one sucks but is avoidable and kind of makes sense if you count the game mechanics. I was frustrated because the way I lost them has no basis on logic -.- To be honest I think GGG have just been lazy with coding these, none of these cooked ways of losing them are good game design
it happened a few times for me aswell when I would expediently unequip my amulet or something so the gear they were socketed in was no longer usable, however last time this happened both of my itemized specters (perfect dark marionets) did drop their bodies and I was able to re-summon them. idk why this happens nor why under the same conditions it stopped happening last time, but I'm not about to waste 50c finding out lol
It's tragic yup, I also take precaution by only doing gear changes in town and making sure bone offering isn't socketed. Decided to take a break until this is sorted
