As a person who really loves the LaFerrari, I love this MOC. Every detail was captured very well and as a huger Lego person I love the techniques used in this build
Superb! Didn't expect anything different from you. This is exactly the type of LaFerrari I was looking for. You didn't disappoint. Now I really hope that you and/ or @brunojj1 will design the other 4 of the Big 5 Ferraris (Enzo, F50, F40, 288 GTO) one day. I don't want to diminish other designer's achievement/ creations, but you two - I would include Jordan Langerak as well, unfortunately he does not want to share instructions - really understand the requirements of a technic supercar, especially the smooth bodywork, perfectly replicating certain characteristics and shape of this type of cars. The lack of particular design elements, wrong proportions or unnecessarily cluttered areas make it otherwise not interesting to me. It's then simply another technic car. Well done, very much looking forward to the build.
The Centenario hit me for the first time, and now it's the uppercut. Serious effort went into packing the car tight and sturdy. Every model requires its own attitude and the chassis remains elegant yet sufficient. Hope I can learn more from your designs Deserved respect. Nothing more, nothing less

I 100% prefer this model over the offical LEGO SP3. It has way more interesting functions, a far superior interior and in my opinion is just an all round better looking car. I've seen some weird-ass technic before, but nothing like this. And nothing so stunningly beautiful and totally functional. This is some serious crazy stuff. Sometimes like some AI-generated dense spider web of parts that look random but are in fact perfect. Sometimes advanced simplicity. I'm shaking my head with delight and disbelief. Not for novices. Words fail.

Auch die Funktionen sind hammer, sehr umfangreich und doch ohne überflüssigen Schnick-Schnack. Auch wenn ich mir bislang gesagt habe, dass ich keine Fahrzeuge bauen möchte, muss ich gestehen, dass ich hier schwach werden könnte... Well done!

Can i find a part list for this? Although most likely I will buy the cada set for support, (it’s good price), I don’t know about quality of cada yet and might order at least the gears for the gearbox and other features in official Lego
Looks great unfortunately some construction errors by Cada - I hope there will be an updated and corrected version soon with all including - very interested at this set. Power functions version would be great too as alternative 👌
I have been buying lego technic sets for a long time now but I've been getting increasingly disappointed with lego technic sets lately in terms of price and poor/lazy design so I thought I'd try something different on my two weeks off from work over Xmas. I purchased this set from CaDA in my local toy store and I've just spent the last week building it. Even though the quality of parts are about 90% that of lego this is without doubt the best technic set I have ever built to date. Thijs design is so clever it blows my mind, it is the most beautiful technic car of all my cars, porsche, ferarri, bugatti, lambo etc. I'm interested to know if Thijs asked lego if they were interested? If they turned him down what a big mistake that was. Lego designers- you better up your game with guys like this snapping at your heels. Superb superb superb!!!!!👏👏👏👏👏

Hi, Thijs, i recently bought your moc from CADA, and i'm currently building it, and i'm about 80% done, and i must say, this is extremely complicated design, way harder than any original lego 1:8 car they made. Can you please, tel me, is there any difference between your final version and cada version, and did you build with cada version of bricks or lego ones. Cada has different panels than lego, and some "twisted" technic ones, which i really don't understand the reason behind it.. And if there's a difference in design or building techniques would you want to sell me the instructions, because some of the build techniques are really mind boggling, to say the least. I had to scan both books and build on my 32" monitor in full zoom to be able to accurately see how to build some parts. Never the less, the model is beautiful, can't wait to build it all, than i will take it apart and start over, because i have a ton of loose lego bricks and would try and build it using only lego bricks, just for fun. The Moc looks beautiful. Was a big fan of the lamborghini centenario moc. I was just wondering if there is any difference between the cada and your moc in terms of looks and functionality except the rims? No, the CaDa model will have the same gearbox. Building instructions will probably become available on their website a few months after it hits the market

I can recommend both for an experienced bulder. Which one you will enjoy more depends on your own preferences and interests: compared to the Italian supercar, the viva hypercar promises a more intesting builing experience because of the modularity and a wider diversity of building techniques, but it is alo more challenging to assemble. Espcially the bodywork and joining of modules are delicate tasks which some people have found frustrating. The Italian supercar is easier to build (still more demanding than lego sets though) and is more sophisticated in design. Functionality wise both are very different. The Viva hypercar is densly packed with manual features of which a few are revolutionary for a lego car. The italian supercar is RC and has the best working RC transmission made so far. Looks are more subjective , but I'd say both are good looking, accurate replicas of their original counterparts and will look great on your shelf.
If you buy it at the official CaDa store, then Yes, most issues are fixed. However there will be a third version as well (release later this summer) which is addapted to deal with some current copyright issues.

@@momorious Hi, the R&D team told me the addapted version would be launched in december but have no more info for you at this stage, sorry :/. It won't be radically different from the current version on the official cada website. Only some changes to deal with copyright and some minor improvements to deal with their updated panel system.
If there was, I would have used it :-). I care more about accurate shape and proportions in this case. You can avoid a gap but you will make everything bulkier ruining the look from my perspective.
Het is een prachtig model, helaas is de uitvoering zeer slecht!!! Systeemstenen klemmen totaal niet!! Als je het in elkaar hebt en je raakt het daarna aan valt de hele boel weer uit elkaar!! Als je hem al in elkaar krijg dan snel in de vitrine zetten en nooit meer aankomen!!! Ik vraag me af wat het voor zin heeft om zo'n fragiel ontwerp te maken? Als ontwerper zou je toch moeten weten dat onderdelen die aan slechts één nop zitten dat dat niet houd.
@leokrul7546 Mijn auto is met lego onderdelen ontworpen en er is een significant verschil tussen de klemkracht van CaDa onderdelen en Lego onderdelen. CaDa is hard bezig met het verbeteren van hun onderdeelkwaliteit, maar ze hebben nog veel ruimte voor verbetering. Met mijn Lego model kan goed 'gespeeld' worden zonder dat er onderdelen afvallen, optillen en basic handelingen gaan zonder probleem. Je hebt gelijk dat dit niet helaas het geval is met het CaDa model. Als ik dit had geweten had ik andere ontwerpkeuzes gemaakt en het gebruik van systeem elementen zo veel mogelijk vermeden. Hoe dan ook ik ga voortaan 'voorzichtiger' ontwerpen als het aankomt op het gebruik van deze onderdelen zodat mijn ontwerpen minder afhankelijk zijn van onderdeelkwaliteit. Je zou eventueel de onderdelen systeem onderdelen kunnen lijmen (niet wenselijk natuurlijk), ze volledig weglaten of vervangen door originele lego onderdelen. Tot slot zal ik nog een video uploaden hier op mijn kanaal waarin ik zal demonsteren hoe de je de CaDa set kan verbeteren. Daarvoor moet ik eerst nog de set ontvangen, maar die zit momenteel vast bij de douane.
Are there additional parts needed for the instructions fix that are not included already in the box? Also does the incorrect instructions still allow the car to function properly? I just bought the set and would hate for it to work incorrectly after such a challenging looking build.
It depends where you bought the set. If you recently got it from the official store you will be all set, if not you can refer to the instructions they uploaded on their facebook page. If you have any futher (more detailed) questions, don't hesitate to send me a PM.

I love this design. WIll we get a rebrickable version, so we can build it out of lego, as i can see you've used official lego parts.
Most likely the model will not be uploaded on rebrickable. You can build it with Lego but you just have to put in a little more effort

Yes the CaDa Model will use CaDa's own rims.The model is indeed static and there is and won't be a motorized version.

For the front wheel parts, isnt there another way than using a spline part? (idk what its called) because there is alot of gap with this part
If there was, I would have used it :-). I care more about accurate shape and proportions in this case. You can avoid a gap but you will make everything bulkier ruining the look from my perspective.

Het is een prachtig model, helaas is de uitvoering zeer slecht!!! Systeemstenen klemmen totaal niet!! Als je het in elkaar hebt en je raakt het daarna aan valt de hele boel weer uit elkaar!! Als je hem al in elkaar krijg dan snel in de vitrine zetten en nooit meer aankomen!!! Ik vraag me af wat het voor zin heeft om zo'n fragiel ontwerp te maken? Als ontwerper zou je toch moeten weten dat onderdelen die aan slechts één nop zitten dat dat niet houd.
@leokrul7546 Mijn auto is met lego onderdelen ontworpen en er is een significant verschil tussen de klemkracht van CaDa onderdelen en Lego onderdelen. CaDa is hard bezig met het verbeteren van hun onderdeelkwaliteit, maar ze hebben nog veel ruimte voor verbetering. Met mijn Lego model kan goed 'gespeeld' worden zonder dat er onderdelen afvallen, optillen en basic handelingen gaan zonder probleem. Je hebt gelijk dat dit niet helaas het geval is met het CaDa model. Als ik dit had geweten had ik andere ontwerpkeuzes gemaakt en het gebruik van systeem elementen zo veel mogelijk vermeden. Hoe dan ook ik ga voortaan 'voorzichtiger' ontwerpen als het aankomt op het gebruik van deze onderdelen zodat mijn ontwerpen minder afhankelijk zijn van onderdeelkwaliteit. Je zou eventueel de onderdelen systeem onderdelen kunnen lijmen (niet wenselijk natuurlijk), ze volledig weglaten of vervangen door originele lego onderdelen. Tot slot zal ik nog een video uploaden hier op mijn kanaal waarin ik zal demonsteren hoe de je de CaDa set kan verbeteren. Daarvoor moet ik eerst nog de set ontvangen, maar die zit momenteel vast bij de douane.

There is a front wheel arch wide mod for this model that I've been trying to figure out how to do. Does anyone have any idea?
There is plenty of mods available, e.g. the one by Asyanax. It will, IMO, ruin the proportions though

Are there additional parts needed for the instructions fix that are not included already in the box? Also does the incorrect instructions still allow the car to function properly? I just bought the set and would hate for it to work incorrectly after such a challenging looking build.
It depends where you bought the set. If you recently got it from the official store you will be all set, if not you can refer to the instructions they uploaded on their facebook page. If you have any futher (more detailed) questions, don't hesitate to send me a PM.

The car in the video is made from 100% lego. The set is made from nearly identical pieces manufactered by a different brand, CaDa.
