That's very true. Never understood why people are so suspicious by default. The saddest thing is probably people don't even believe someone could genuinely be that caring and considerate toward them even when they don't know them personally since long. Why would you have to be Jesus to be super friendly? This world is really crazy and see everyone else as an ennemy contrary to INFJs and few others. I don't know, maybe INFJs feel safe to be friendly with anyone because they can read people very easily when others aren't able to and can easily start making their own completely off stories about others when they can't figure them out. High intuition must play a big role in this I think. I think the only reason why INFJs naturally stay very private is just because it feels like a second nature to them. They're just smart so they're very careful and don't reveal everything about themselves because they anticipate the potential negative consequences about revealing too much about yourself. But that doesn't mean you can't be friendly and open to others nonetheless. It's not because you hide things that you're necessarely a threat. It's perfectly natural to hide certain things to certain people for certain reasons, yet people don't seem to get it and see everything they can't figure out as a potential threat. They fear the unknown when INFJs are curious of it. Hiding information doesn't necessarely has to do with the person in particular but can just be a safety habit in daily life that prevents abuse. Also people assume INFJs are perfect while they really aren't and know it but simply seriously try their best to be every day no matter they'll never actually be compared to so many who are contented with staying as flawed as possible and becoming a nuisance for the world. So stop being jealous and just get on their level. Having flaws is totally normal and okay as long as you try your best to correct it to be a better person. That's why people can say there is some more qualitative human beings in the first place.
For real 😂. People create their own story without any proof then dare to come to you and teach you how things actually are about you while they're completely off from the beginning and are just spitting nonsense when they could just have asked to get the actual answer 🤣.
💯 💯 it is life changing when we speak up and show who we are, especially for those who don't know us that well. Sometimes the truth is so on point it changes the dynamic for the worse, even though the intent was good. INFJ's of course want to be authentic from the start but even when we do, people either cling to us or hate on us because of our intuitive yet practical strength... Which then explains why we like to just stay reclusive in the first place! 😂
I have never viewed my INFJ friend that way, but I have known him since grade 4. I would say he keeps his emotions to himself more than I do, but he won’t sugar coat things when he says them to me. He will do it kindly, but he will let me know what’s up. And I really respect that. He often has very good insights. He is quite the individual but I definitely see him being more concerned about how others view him than I do. It actually makes me feel sad for him because it causes him so much anxiety. He is a very valued friend for me. I often worry I talk about my feelings too much, but he says he actually enjoys that and it makes him feel positive about himself in some way that he can be there for me. I forget the word he used. I don’t think our friendship will ever end as long as we are both alive and well. -INFP 4w5
I stopped worrying or caring what others think or assume about me years ago. Caring about it is a great way to ruin your life. People find reasons to not like everyone regardless of personality type. People are like drunks who put others down to feel better about themselves or to distract themselves from themselves.
Be silent, not talking, maybe it makes others feel not important/inferior, because we don't pay attention to them, don't talk to them. Whereas it's just us, just Ni don't talk, don't move, don't watch, don't hear... We value clam and peace, it's our natural way of being to be silent. Silence scare people, it can make the ambiance heavy, weird for extroverted and sensors. I admit, I talk only to people who deserve me. It's also because I am super easily overloaded by energies. We don't think we are better, but there is high chance N dom we know more, have more knowledge, and we would be happy to share our knowledge, if they are open and listen. I suffered of low self-esteem for a long time. Most are very humble. Edit : they are biased by their own perception, which most of the time se only the surface, judge the appearance, and don't search to know/think more. Jokes : _Can we make braids with your beard ? _The rumor say : the more longer the beard is, the more bombshell truth it throws

The need for solitude and truth too
Exactly people just like to draw their own conclusions without even asking. 🤦😑

It’s all shits and giggles until the INFJ starts speaking…BOMBSHELL TRUTH! 😅
Hahahahahahaha!! yup! 😆
Absolutely, a 100% true!!! Why can't people stop assuming something underlying and just take as a fact what they see?!!!
Thank u

They are just projecting their own insecurities onto you...

always something to criticize, right?
@DuelingPersonalities Yes. Oddly, not caring took me off others' radars. To be blisteringly honest , I'm not innocent of judging either. We all do it.
I love the way you express truth about INFJs...
Thank you. Ema.
