Funny story we were crossing the Ferry route and the wind died right in their path... They had to slow down and honked at us, All of a sudden the wind picked back up filled our sail and off we went. 🥰 Good memories!!
Reminded me of our very first visit to Walt Disney World with our two children. We went all out and stayed at Wilderness Lodge all week. When leaving our day of fun at the Magic Kingdom we took the boat back to the lodge. The boat captain stopped the boat in Bay Lake for us to view the fireworks. What an experience and exciting way to view the fireworks in an unimaginable way. So glad to hear you got to view it on your return to the parking lot ! Excellent and fun video that brought back some lovely memories ! 😊
As a local Disneylander, the resorts at WDW make it the quintessential vacation place to be. Thats why I bought DVC and never looked back. Its the best part of WDW (along with epcot). I will be there next week staying at & reviewing the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Can’t wait. Merry Christmas Adam.
The fireworks remind me of 4th of July watching them on the loading dock of a market from Brengle Terrace Park in Vista California. Only those are more often. Would love to go to Waltz Orlando attraction
About 8 years ago, we were staying at Wilderness Lodge and left MK right before fireworks. Our boat captain said he had to keep on moving but slowed way down going across seven seas lagoon. It was the best MK fireworks we witnessed and my 4 year old explained “this the best day of my life.” One of the best moments that trip.
We got a similar treatment on New Year’s Eve in 2018, they took us from Wilderness Lodge to the middle of seven seas lagoon, and let us watch the fireworks, we basically got a free fireworks boat show, and everyone sung happy birthday to me at midnight, because New Year’s Day is my birthday😊, I’ll never forget it!!!! 🎉❤🎆
Heck yeah, Christmastime at Disney is next level. I was at Disneyland last night, watched the tree lighting at DCA at 4:50 p.m., the Disneyland Tree lighting at 5:00p.m. and then the It's A Small World lighting at 5:15 p.m. My personal "chef's kiss" was when the train going by Small World tooted " Jingle Bells" , and I got unabashedly misty-eyed when I realized it was my E.P Ripley. 🥰

😢Dog lovers. Please read. Adam…Thank you for cheering me up. I was the passenger in an SUV this morning that hit the end cap of a guardrail head on at 60mph. I was in the trauma center all day until I was upgraded. My dog, who was in the back of the SUV, flew forward and hit the windshield. He was admitted to the emergency vet after my regular vet came and got him from the accident scene. He wouldn’t allow anyone near him. So right now I decided I needed to watch some Woo videos to get the accident off of my mind and the pain I am in. So much pain. Please, everyone with a dog, get harnesses and seatbelts for them. My dog is 100 lbs and he still was thrown from the back of our big SUV. Please any prayers for our recoveries would be greatly appreciated ❤

My sweet dog and my friend who was driving are here with me at home. He had a diabetic drop in sugar and it caused him to pass out while driving. Scary how it takes less than a second for a car to end up hitting something. There was no time to react.
FYI the glass ball on the poly tree is actually a fishing float from a fishing net. They were used in various sizes for keeping the nets afloat. They were replaced by your styrofoam and now rubber inflated buoys. They are collected all over the pacific and used for scrimshaw artwork and decor such as this!

My wife and I drove down to do this Saturday and Sunday from Georgia. We find a lot of enjoyment in going to the resorts and looking at the decorations. Even more than the parks.

There is a song Titled, "The Twelve Days of Christmas", 7 Swans a Swimming, 12 Drummers Drumming, 3 French Hens, those were the three ornaments at Grand Floridian. I imagine there are about 9 more ornaments on that tree featuring the rest of the days of christmas.

you should rent a golf cart and drive around Wilderness camp grounds, some of those campers really decorate for the holidays.

our favorite is the Wilderness Lodge. it feels like home since we live in a log cabin.... we are doing a few days during the holiday season this year
