I would love to go to Oahu one day. My Spanish grandparents worked the pineapple farms after they left Spain and before they settled in San Francisco. I would love to see it with my own eyes. ❤
We went to the Dole Plantation back in the 60’s. The “tour” was walking a catwalk in the pineapple processing factory and walking a pineapple field. We did get a pineapple slice on the way out, and as a kid that was really cool.
Adam, I just love your Mumma, , i want to scoop her up bring her over here to little old England and take her to Buckingham to have a cup of tea as she is just as lovely as our late Queen Elizabeth. Give your mum a big hug from your distant cousins across the big pond. x
The fish look like Golden Orfe fish.....which are just large goldfish really....my Dad used to keep these and Koi Carp in his ponds years ago . Great video....glad your Mum is enjoying it too .
Did a month rotation working in Oahu and scheduled 5 weeks so the last week I had to myself…so very long away…..quote from Meatloaf RIP!!!! Met a local guy and showed me around absolutely incredible place! It was common back then to rent a moped to see the island. Want to go back before I go to heaven! As soon as you get off the plane it smells wonderful I’ll never forget it! I’m a DVC MEMBER need to get better (disabled) and I will be back, hopefully!
I’ve been watching your videos for long time and man I got a Telya. I’m happy with the way you presented in the way you take care of your mom and Richard in the Hawaiian video. I love it the pineapple farm sounds great because we can’t get real Hawaiian pineapple here anymore. The states it’s all from the Philippines but I love the fact that you’re a little pussycats walking around there at little pussycats happy is a good thing they get a bum rap in life like many people do really enjoy the video and here’s to the animals crash at the end of the day. Don’t be afraid of the animals be afraid of the people that’s it will hurt you. That’s my advice to my young granddaughter thank you for the great videos. I love the relaxed atmosphere and the obvious love you have for your mom. We never met a normal guy, but we could’ve been friends somewhere along the line. Thank you again buddy.
Oh man you were right in the garlic shrimp truck territory!! I hope you got to stop at a couple like Giovanni’s or others. Some of the best garlic shrimp you’ll ever have.
Well, all I can say is Thank you, for letting me travel through your eyes! Even though I am 67, I don't think I'll be going there any time soon. How wonderful of you to take your mother. Your Mom looks great!! Enjoy the rest of your stay. I look forward to the rest of the journey. I still watch everyday, great videos! ❤❤
I love Hawaiian coffee. After trying it there, I now order it in K cups for home. We visited two Islands, and the last week at Aulani. I loved being there.
I’m half through and I have to stop to say I appreciate the movie and music references (It’s a Wonderful Life and Johnny Cash). 😂😂😂😂😂😂 You are funny in a very dry way! Unsuspecting gems thrown into your tour monologues. 😂😂😂😂 This Hawaii trip is interesting so far (between the Disney Hotel and the lazy river and Coffee and Pineapple Plantation this is new stuff I have not seen before). Thank you.
You should tour the Battleship Missouri it is one awesome ship it has a plaque were the Japanese surrendered it's also close to the USS Arizona memorial
Glad to see you and mom today. Looks like such a beautiful place to see! I travel through your eyes!never been to Hawaii. Thank you to you and mom for taking us Along Adam and mom theWoo
Waimea valley is a very sacred place to Hawaiians. There are many faces of ancient Hawaiians embedded in the rocks, if you look to your left 31:17 you can see a face (in the foliage)
Love how you are spending precious time with your mom. What a beautiful resort. Next year is our 30th anniversary wow would this be beautiful if I could just get past the plane ride lol
❤I love seeing your mom in your videos 📸📸 she a sweet funny lady an she raised her son great too his mom .little johny cash with folsum prison 😂😂i love pineapple 🍍 🍍
I visited Dole’s processing plant in 1985 .Was great seeing how quickly the local ladies cleaned the pineapple. They would then send them to the canning area and then to the shipping department. Dole was located not too far from Waikiki next to Hilo Hattie’s garment shop. Went less than two years later and Dole’s plant was gone. I inquired what happened to the plant and was told that it had closed! They still were growing pineapple but was shipping them the Philippines to be processed, and then shipped back to the USA. Much cheaper labor costs! Aloha Kimo 😂
I don't think it's Tajin. Tajin isn't that popular in Hawaii. I'm pretty sure that red powder is Li Hing Mui. It's sweet sour and salty all at once. It's grounded up plums. We put that on fruit here in Hawaii, especially pineapples.
Remembering the wonderful times I spent with my Mom there. Soak in every single minute Adam-memories like no other❤ Enjoy, and thanks so much for sharing!!!
@@TheDailyWoomy late grandma was working on the navy base in Newport RI the day that happened...she said the news broke at the cafe she served at, and every single man stopped eating their meal and headed to the base 😢😢
When you go to Pearl Harbor. There is a restaurant right next to its called 604 cafe. Really good food there. Just like a 2 minute walk where the parking lot is. Also you can get fresh pineapples at the airport to take on the plane from shops at the terminal. Aloha!

I love how whatever momma woo wants to do you make it happen! She wants to see a waterfall you take her 😅
Yep!
@@TheDailyWoo That is a good son my man 💯🌴
That original Hawaii coffee is awesome!

The red powder on the dole whip is called Li-Hing powder. It can be sprinkled on different food and drink items. Thanks for the video! 🌺
Li Hing Mui is made from dried plums. This unique seasoning adds a tangy, sweet and salty taste that is unlike any other snack.
Thank you for clarifying that. I thought it was Tejin.
I was thinking it was Tejin as well
The signed tiki will give you protection, strength and one million subscribers!
Wish people would give the turtles their space on the beaches.
What a cool swimming area where those falls are!
Back in 1967 the water fountains at Dole had fresh pineapple juice!!!

You are so good to your mom and dad. Love your Chanel.

If you go to Honolulu, get a plate lunch at "Rainbow Drive In"! McDonald's in HI still serves the old fried apple pies from the '70s.
Adam looking Skinnty, congrats on the weight loss 💪
Awesome wood carve! But remember the Brady Bunch
Love your mom's hairdo. It's sassy! Tell her, "Hey, Mom. One of my followers thinks your hairdo is 'sassy.'"

You are giving great memories Adam for your mom. This is awesome
Love the little tiki man. I need to get to HI someday!
I love that your mom wore her Dole shirt 🥹🙏
I spent my first 12 years on Oahu. We moved to the mainland in '81 and I unfortunately haven't been back since. Lord it's changed.
That's putting it mildly.Lordy Lordy it's changed!

Hawaii is so beautiful. That pineapple looks amazing 🤩
"Dole fish"!! Too funny.
Waimea valley is a very sacred place to Hawaiians. There are many faces of ancient Hawaiians embedded in the rocks, if you look to your left 31:17 you can see a face (in the foliage)
Top of waterfall slightly to the left there is a face unless its just the way the shadows fall...but it looks to be there.
Love how you are spending precious time with your mom. What a beautiful resort. Next year is our 30th anniversary wow would this be beautiful if I could just get past the plane ride lol
Funny when I went on that tour years ago they said most of the Dole pineapples were really being grown in Mexico
❤I love seeing your mom in your videos 📸📸 she a sweet funny lady an she raised her son great too his mom .little johny cash with folsum prison 😂😂i love pineapple 🍍 🍍
I'm glad you are enjoying Hawaii. If you went up Kunai Road instead of the H2 to get to the Dole Plantation you passed within a mile of my home. Aloha
Gorgeous there. Enjoy!!
Looks like a great time👍
Great pic of you and your mom!

I am 50. I have been drinking black coffee since I was 8yrs old. Delicious!
Thank you great video
Hi Adam! Have you considered visiting Pearl Harbor? It's a very interesting place to visit and definitely something every American should see.
And the Mighty Mo!
Indeed...the USS Missouri battleship is a "Must" while in Pearl Harbor too @@johnp139
That’s an awesome souvenir!
Try to go to Pearl Harbor. It's well worth seeing one of the most important sites in United States History.
Excellent suggestion!
Thats an awesome idol!! Makes me think of The Brady Bunch too
Beautiful! 🙂👍🌹🌹
I love the coffe shop!!!!! ☕️
Such a Beautiful Place, have fun.
Pineapple express, nothing to do with the film of the same name of course! 😂
Adam, I truly enjoyed your videos on San Francisco, my adopted hometown. Now you've discovered my sanctuary after 12 years in SF.
Beautiful.

Keep Smiling…. you’re in Hawaii… awesome!
Loving this trip as I exercise bike away 👍
Beautiful waterfall. We have nice ones in NC. Multiple ones near Sapphire NC. We have one here in burke county. McGalliard Falls outside of Valdese
Woo hoo! Been waiting!! Enjoy!
😎lots of turtles in Satellite Beach FL, once I saw one the size of a Small Car😲🤣It must have been pretty old💚
Fantastic ❤❤👍
The red powder is Tajin, it's great on any fruit, eggs, potatoes and rimed for margaritas
I absolutely love Tajin-covered peanuts. Tajin’s spicy and sour combo can’t be beat.
I don't think it's Tajin. Tajin isn't that popular in Hawaii. I'm pretty sure that red powder is Li Hing Mui. It's sweet sour and salty all at once. It's grounded up plums. We put that on fruit here in Hawaii, especially pineapples.
When I was there they said that it was MSG.
@@johnp139 I think they were just messing with you. MSG is white like salt where as Li Hing Mui powder is reddish in color.
Another good video......your good dude....

Oahu is such a great day drive island
Always a great video Adam keep up great work. 👍 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Haven't been on Oahu is decades, so it was so nice to see Waimea Valley again. Thanks again for taking us along!
That is so cool ;wow the tiki wow
Nice video. Nice area. I enjoyed the video.
That beach you were on and the waterfall are both Filming locations for the pilot/original season of Lost.
Highly recommend the Paradise Cove Luau!! A ton of activities - but get ready to be on stage doing crazy stuff!! haha
Wow another Adam and mom adventure
Love the coffee I ordered on line
Adam as much as you like Dole whip that was like a Pilgrimage!
I hope you have time to head to Pearl Harbor and the Arizona memorial. Hawaii seems so nice.
It’s on my list

You should take the helicopter ride that takes you past where they filmed the Jurassic Park movie.
We put Li Hing powder on a lot of things. Try it on shave ice next time. Welcome to Oahu!
