E Bike tour of my local estate (The Douglas Estate)

Decided to take a wee tour on my E bike top my local estate and decided to may a we short video of the area as its a cracking we Glen and has some great nature trails also has the bike route that runs along the M8 motorway passing through. The estate is steeped in history also with Sir Winston Churchill using the the white house for his stay on holiday , the locals will know this as the dolls house but hopefully this short video will show some of the estate a lot of it is now just wildlife and trees but still a great place for a walk or cycle.

Paul it's a cracking now good wee nature trails all over and got the bike route along the m8 that passes through it aswell great for exploring brings back memories spent my childhood down there like yourself. Atb Ally 👍

Brilliant video Ally mate. Looks like a cracking place. Might take a wee wonder down with my son at some point. Is their a car park for the place? Was looking on Google maps and couldn't see anything.

Hi Alan they built a wee car park i think the wee road in to it is from the Coatbridge side you go over a bridge over the M8 or you can park at the showcase cinema and walk over the flyover bridge over the M8 it takes you on to the cycle track and you can walk along that to the car park area great wee glen spent all my childhood down there. Kev it's 2 mins from my house great for going walking or cycling spent my childhood down there . Bamboo land was great back in the day it was like a mini jungle 😅 brought back memories going for that wee cycle. Atb Ally 👍
