Diane plays this popular wedding piece on the church's 117 rank Ruffatti organ.
Midsummer Night's Dream, Op. 61- Wedding March
The Church Organ, the absolute EMPEROR of instruments!!!
Absolutely!
Played by the EMPRESS of organists
😂
I'd like to know what it costs build a pipe organ and pipe system like this. Just curious.

I also like the colorful costumes she wears. An instrument that grand calls for it.
Super
All about her
She is just beautiful! She is a rockstar
What a beautiful instrument! I've always loved this work on organ. Nice phrasing Diane and also your choice of tones.
For me, I'd say this is the benchmark for how this piece should be performed - registrations, pacing, and all. Great job.
She 's actually playing that organ! So stunning and dramatic! I would love for her to play at my wedding.
Tempo: Bish hurry!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
😂😂😂
Wow Ma'am... I dream of playing the organ like you. Amazing!!
She was an incredible musician :) and I say was because she is 78 now and I am not sure if she is still playing or not
@@choirkitty As far as I know yes she is still playing :)
You should be able to play like her now. It has been 8 years🎉
Wonderful rendition on a magnificent instrument that makes all organ lovers drool and have fits of ecstasy! Bravo Diane!
I wanna run out and get married...

Love this, brilliantly played by this accomplished lady, what a pleasure to listen to this !
She looks so happy when she plays... beautiful! As well as the music, the organ and the place, everything is perfect.
My HUSBAND and I will be recessing down the aisle to this song in less than 12 days! I can't wait! So eager!
The Queen of the Organ which is the King of Instruments. Beautiful music by Diane , only discovered her on UA-cam recently. With Covid 19 and her age I hope she is safe.,❤️
I've seen her performances many times. She is a beast. Second to none.
God bless you Diane. Love watching you play the organ. 🙏
That was some great organ playing and I love how you used the Contra Bombarde 32 at the end.
WEDDING MARCH is made for the organ! Not even the orchestra, not the piano, no offences
Just beautiful! Now THAT'S a real organ and organist!
The best Mendelssohn wedding march on youtube. Congratulations.
Fantastic - I thought I'd take time to listen to the 'whole thing' as it's usually only the first page or so I listen to. I've got the music for this all right - for piano. What an instrument to play it on too!
Who is this accomplished soloist? I know of Dame Gillian Weir and have heard her at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh and also Dr John Kitchen and have listened to David Flood's playing - all fabulous players.
Thanks.
Gaius
Gary that's my late husband and I walked up the aisle after we got married sweet and happy memories for me. Thanks for sharing the video.
I infinitely prefer this to the orchestral original. Apart perhaps from the lack of cymbals. Oh well, can't have everything!
i want her to play for my wedding
Looks like this was filmed in the 80s... Shes probably not around anymore...
@@MouseyBusiness She is 78 now!
She is still alive.
I want to contact her
Me too

The most prolific and polished organist I have come across so far.Congratulations and keep it up.Robert George.
Love love and love!!! Thank you Ms. Bish!
That 128' pipe at the end!
Stephen Rector
David Sandbach.
Not 128’ but probably a 32 foot.
Cameron Hicks
I'm always been interested in the pipe organ and THIS would tell me as a magician you need talent to play such a very large instrument for the wedding march. Oh btw great job of playing the pipe organ. I know so old people who play the woodwind instruments but THIS is outstandingly AMAZING how you play the pipe organ.
Nossa, com um aparelhinho de som pequenininho que tenho, e esse som divino sai "redondo""puro". Imagino como deve ser bonito ao vivo.Lindíssimo som
2:28 Sounds so good! :-O
Who plays biggest instrument?
-I play trumpet
-LMAO I play guitar
-Guitars are tiny, I play piano
-I play a building "organ player"
I’m playing this arrangement for a wedding this Saturday and I’m so excited!!
a persons private life is her own, as long as shes doing no harm to anyone else. I
Wow. She's got Style. Great work Diane.
Mis respetos a Diane Bish desde la Ciudad de México
Não sei nem o que falar mais esse e o som de órgão mais lindo do mundo acho um dos instrumentos mais estrordinairos que já conheci
Immensa impareggiabile Diane...entra nelle corde più profonde dell'anima
Maravilhoso! Os acordes executados por ela penetram na nossa alma. Não vi nenhuma execução igual aqui no UA-cam. Perfeição é a palavra certa!!!
It is about 4:40, that she played the triller with fourth and fifth finger, why would you do that?? 😰
I love hearing her play the majestic organs and like her compositions. I play the organ and have used some of her books for the organ.
I`ve played that tune a couple of thousand times
Good for you:) Would you recommend it at the start or at the end of the ceremony? Im getting married soon, and haven't decided yet.
This wedding march is usually played at the end of the wedding it is by Mendelssohn from "A midsummers Dream"
The March at the beginning of a wedding service is "Here comes the Bridle" which was written by Wagner and is the Bridle Chorus from His Opera Lohengrin Hope this helps
Same Here I'm Work At A Church.
I Work At A Church
Awesome. Catholic?
Stunning!!!!!
Bravo
El organo es una orquesta
Maravilhosoo!!!
Mulher descanças esses dedos e esses pés
Sounds great !!!
marveolus,instrument beautiful ^_^
More buttons than Teddy Bear factory.
I'm positive Heaven inclined it's ear to this masterpiece. Phenomenal!! 🎶
After listening to this song i'm getting married!
beautiful sound 😍 i love the stops she used, the reeds also have such clean sounds... wonderful interpretation as well 😁
and of course, Mendelssohn, the great master of composition and harmonies...
amazing grace :) Thanks for Republic of Georgia
I've ran into several churches who will not let this one be played during any kind of service or function of the church. Mainly due to the overt humanist nature of the composition. It also has a more sinister reputation. Personally when I finally do get snagged and have to walk down that aisle, I want the final Throne Room march from Star Wars IV. I want a dolly shot from a wagon pulling a steadycam operator looking up at us walking down the aisle as it plays.
+Burt Ward Ha, that's great!
Wally Davidson....that a way Burt,.,,ME too!!!
Diane you are the best
Magnificent, perfect, fantastic, everything is great . I really like it!
Yass Bish! 😂
Beautiful wedding march music.
Gervin youtuber! I mean "bad" as not being bad! I meant she is GOOD"bad". Just a lingo translation. I would never speak "bad" of Ms. Bische. I'm trying to get her next year for a concert.
Who is from 2021?
Wonderful! The "Liberace" of Organ playing! lol
wonderful!
She shore earned the honor of being the first lady of the organ. I'm not half the organist she is. It won't sound near as good when I play it. That would be cool to meet her. Has she ever played the Miss America organ?
The wedding march sounds joyful, as she played it here. Not like a funeral dirge (the way some people play it).
I have. A song
So very pretty
Excellent
Diane Bish è la più grande organista del mondo. Forse la più grande organista di tutti i tempi
Wow imagine her playing at ur wedding! Wow!!! Amazing!!!!!
D.B. we ♥︎ u!!!"
What a magnificent instrument
Not at all an easy piece to solo; Mendelssohn wrote this program piece for full orchestra as part of an opera/ballet interpretation of William Shakespeare's comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream. Could four organists at Octave Hall, Allen Organ Company Shops, Macungie, PA, USA, do this one at full ballet speed? I'd like to find out. ;-)
lol her surname is PERFECT! 'BISHHH'??????
🤣🤣🤣
Whoa, that thing has some serious bottom end. It drowns out all the little embellishments in the chorus. But I'd love to play it :)
Well done. Just to say "Thank you". Greetings from France.
Rather a weak Tuba, or what ever it is called.
I think it's the Trumpet Chamade (the horisontal pipes in the front)
How can you criticise it realistically if you don't know what it is?
Imagine her playing at your wedding!!!! Jesus
I'm hesitating between be the new best organ player or the next cheated husband...
OMG!! is amazing! thank you bish BRAZIL!!
I believe the tempo needs to be about 210 or so.
Its what Diane believes it should be. She's the one playing it!
Absolutely super excellent with very good interesting video
