Once again. You never disappoint Joe. Always the best catching up with you and seeing which jazz grabs you were lucky enough to find. The Peter Brotzmann/Shoji Hano looks like a tough one to find. I will listen to it now. Thank you J~ Rob/Boston
@@ConcertBuddie thanks Chance! I enjoyed your video as well and it was great to meet you! The fair definitely treated us both well when it came to finds
You grabbed some amazing ones for sure Joe. The Frank Lowe I am also looking for. Decided to hold off so happy you grabbed it. Great one! Need more Palms. Maybe Rochester again this Christmas time?
@@seekingathread thanks Dom! You got some killer stuff too! I hope you can find a copy of the Frank Lowe Palm soon! I’m definitely on the lookout for some Byard Lancaster palms! Meetup in Rochester would be great!
Joe awesome pickups man Frank Lowe is great I never see his records in the wild excellent player . That Wayne Shorter Night Dreamer is so underrated. That WfMU fair looked outstanding those walls had everything I was after have a great week Joe .
@@MrLovell1971 thanks Lovell! Any Frank Lowe is worth picking up, I hope you can find some soon! The fair was awesome and exceeded my expectations, I’m already excited for next year
Hey Joe what ya doin with that gun, I mean, ''Adieu Little Man'' record,in your hand! Wow, never seen or heard that one! Reverend Frank Wright was asked to play on Coltrane's ''Ascension'' album, but felt that his skills were not good enough, Coltrane called him, '' Little Brother''. Enough said. God bless Irene Schweizer, she passed away on July 16, 2024. Uli Trepte and Mani Neumeier, who formed the classic Krautrock band, Guru Guru, played on Schweizer's 1967 album, ''Jazz Meets India''. Rudiger and Irene are part of the COWWS quintet, their FMP release, '' Grooves N' Loops'' is a mix of every music genre known to Mankind, I'm not exaggerating! Last Exit's '' Cassette Recordings'' contains ''Line Of Fire'', a 20 minute blow-out that sets my brain on fire! Okay, skip ''Chicken Shit Bingo'' but get ''Cassette Recordings.'', I bought my cd version in 1990, for 99 cents.
@@michaelvalentini4869 yeah, it’s an awesome session! That’s really cool about Coltrane and Frank Wright, I didn’t know that! I’ve had a copy of Cassette Recordings in my discogs cart for awhile so I may need to finally pull the trigger on it!
Tuned Boots!! Love that record
@@mikewebber3693 excited to check it out after hearing other Schweizer Trio albums!

A real treat to meet you Joe, and to watch this video of your pickups. Fun to watch and learn about titles not in my usual orbit. 🤘🏻
