My wifes entire family is from Kinney county. I have visited Brackettville several times since we got married 30 yrs ago. Brackettville is beautiful, very small, quiet, relaxed, no stress. We recently retired, sold our home in SoCal, and just bought a home in Ft. Clark Springs. Best thing I ever did.
I used to work there. I love that place. One thing I thought was definitely worth seeing is Seminole Indian scouts cemetery. It’s a few miles southwest of town and there are 3 congressional Medal of Honor winners buried there.
The temperature is 68 degrees year round for the swimming pool. Also the 3rd largest swimming pool in the state. And another unique feature is it's spring fed
Stayed in the Fort for a while with my sister and her friend Bud Jones. Just love that stretch of Texas.

I always love your Texas videos because I live here in Texas And like finding places to go to from the videos
The pool is spring fed.
They clean it out regularly.
Constant 68 degrees.
Brackettville gets hot in summer, and the pool is a great relief.
Great upload my friend ❤️ keep it up ✅
Hey! I live there!
were those police vehicles at the Alamo coming for you because they saw you on security cameras?
