Today marks 11 years since I saw Molly Nilson in Cheb in the Czech Republic. I remember being heartbroken after a breakup. I was home on vacation with nothing to do, trying to escape myself and not think. I found out Molly would be there about one day before the show and this song was the first I heard from her, and I fell completely for the magic and beauty that Molly creates. The concert was beautiful, but there were few people, maybe 20. I was in absolute beauty and she played this song last. Afterwards, while waiting for the train, a stranger told me: 'Don't be sad.' Today, when I remember all this, I see that it was all love.
This song reminds me of the sadest yet romantic person I know. We sang this song walking driunk through the city at night. After breakup I fall into addiction and here we are, 10 years later and I am starting new life feeling truly loved again. Been into the abyss got way too long.

lol just discovered molly and decided to listen to her first song here, this is weird but as this song progressed, I was singing along and already knew the lyrics 0_0 in fact i was listening to this in my 9th grade when I was graduating from secondary school (I'm from Russia, we study in schools for 11 years). It's been added on my VK (russian analogue of Facebook with pirate music), this song is a pleasant surprise actually It took me 7 years to explore her whole discography hehe
its been 11 years since this video was released i wonder how the people featured here are doing now. surely they must had been in their 20s when this video was made. theyre probably all married with kids now lol
