I’ve had a pocket three for six months and I took it out of the box and it sits there watching you walk around and video scenes. Oh it is so much easier than holding a phone or a big camera. You’ve convinced me I’ve got to get it out and learn how to use it. Thanks for the review.

Sometimes my hands shake due to meds i take. So I truly think this is my best option even though they're expensive for a new vlogger. I saw people in Costa Rica having to travel in 2's and 3's to get shots and it seemed to annoy the locals.
I feel ya, I tried vlogging once in Home Depot and kept having people mistake me for talking to them and then the humiliation of responding. “No. I’m talking to my camera.” So now I avoid it at all cost and figured screw it if I’m going to film in public I do it on my iPhone (selfie cam, even it’s not the best quality it’s good enough.)

I’m from AZ and I was stressing the whole time when you were walking near those cactuses 🌵everyone stays away from them because they shoot out and stuff
I shot way more videos than before after I got the P3. I think it is something to do with the flipping screen to start the gimbal, so satisfying.
So easy and quick to use! I definitely film more with it than I did before :)

Looks like the internal mic picks up a lot more surrounding noise and the mic2 setup quiets the surrounding noise kind of like noise cancellation. And it sounds a little more dull. But nice. Can't wait to try mine.

I have been seeing nothing but 24fps for frame rate on other videos and I have to say that when vlogging, the 60fps looks much better! In my opinion anyway. Great video, I am looking to pick up a OP3 soon!

Your comment about filming more is what has me really interested. The ease of use and simplicity to get useful footage is tough to beat. Great real world review with just enough of the tech to help us see how it'll work.

Very nice! The only reason I didn’t get it was because it’s so fragile. I didn’t want to baby it the entire time. I had problems with my DJI Osmo Mobile 6 gimbal and had to return it so until there’s a waterproof follow up, I’m sticking with my GoPro.

Best for dji osmo pocket 3, but i have dji osmo pocket 1, i think new experience vlog than vlog with action camera
I think the lens is locked at 2.0 so you’ll always have bokeh. Without the ND filter, the bokeh was similar. But the shutterspeed goes up without the ND filter in your example.
That makes sense! The footage is just softer with the ND filter on vs. not
Not sure you can ever expect much bokeh from a 1 inch sensor. 2.0 is basically 5.4 full frame.

i have pocket 3 but i used to run around with pocket 2. and that gimbal is durable as fck. it took a beating from me. sometimes I would put in on a car which it clangs around for 6 hours at a time. it survived

100% get the Osmo Pocket 3. A mechanical gimbal will let you take cinematic shots very easily!
The ND filter shouldn't affect the Bokeh at all since the aperture is fixed. It only affects the shutter speed. Personally, I don't think it's that useful since I don't really care about the 180 degree shutter rule

My biggest take away is it's a little like making music, the easier the set-up the more you create. This is already the case! Time to snap up a few lens' for the brighter areas of the world!

Highly doubt it. I've used both and this destroys the ace pro in terms of video quality but hey that's why we have choices. We can pick up whatever works for us :)
