I know its almost an impossible question to answer, but, what would you say, based on your everyday experience, might be the best consistent japanese brand of bass builders?
It is a tough one to answer, but a good one. I would say probably Atelier Z or STR hand-made in terms of absolute consistency in fretwork, and stability over time. They are all very very reliable, but for some reason those two stand out to me most, in these respects. Sago are also excellent in these regards, but I have only limited experience with them so far.
Thanks! It is just an original ditty I came up with for the demo. If you like the music you might like some releases available at the linked page in the description.
Is the Bass growling in tone like swamp- ash can? These are hard calls but in your opinion is the bass polite with clean open highs And still able to be be aggressive + super wide dynamic range? Do you mimd taking a shot at questions by words? What do you think is great about it and what may you personally change if anything? Whew! Apologies for this and also a huge thank you in advance! Sound pretty as she comes to mike tyson punches if he was aggressive in your ear losing it! Who in Japan is closet to desired tone Hadrien like clarity and growl for ginger players ( mostly) and great builds? STL i have played, great bit not special to me . IMHO. Sugi i hear raves everywhere when name comes up, the above is the question for me~! Whew , edits and more~ ! Thank you in advance!
Dude, it is awesome! A lot of what you are asking is to do with technique and set up. But yes, it can do anything you want really. Very suited to rock and metal, as well as fusion. As for your other questions, no idea man. Just listen to it. It is recorded direct with no EQ or compression, with many playing styles included. Make your own conclusion. The only thing I would say is, the pickups are intended to be very honest and accurate as well as hot, so what you play is transferred accurately. Cheers for now
@@BassJapanDirect THAT was a fast reply! I believe its awesome for sure! Agreed also set-up and techniques enter that range, Clean pickups and wide dynamic range I do get that feeling. I am closer in sound to when tone rolled off some -- seem to be what i am talking about Hadrien-ish like. OK! All I can say is it is a gorgeous bass, Sugi basses are on fire and believe what you say. Thank you! that WAS fast reply. Thank you!
