In this video, we will discuss how to decide the right insurance plan, specifically for our parents. How is it different from a family floater plan? What are the different factors to look at while selecting a plan that suits our parent’s needs?
We'll also understand why having an individual plan over and above the corporate plan that we might already have, is important!

I have corporate plan and there is no waiting period for my parents, if I go with new plan then will they cover existing diseases without waiting periods
There will be a waiting period. More of a reason why you should go with your plan right away

I have one question... What about the OPD charges for parents i think u did not cover it completely in PED. For example are my parents are old and like every indian they have BP and Diabetes... On a monthly basis they incur around 5K of medicines per month. Is there any insurance company in your sight that covers this as well?
I am a corporate employee and my corporate plan covers this... But there is a cap of 10K for it.
I would consider myself lucky if I could get a reply from you.

Points to consider :
-No capping on room rent
-Post hospitalization expenses cover
-Pre existing diseases (PED) cover for a year
-Don't choose family floater plan with parents
-Transfer corporate to personal plan to include the reduced PED time
-Insurance is only for critical situations - don't use unnecessarily

This is true. But, policybaazar is quite good at discussing with you all the different plans. I have very good experience buying Life and exploring Health insurance.

Yes, they promote every product if you call for one, and one more is no clarity on their own terms and conditions of policy. They sell any policy but during claim we get 10% only if we do higher policy. 🤨🤨
