God bless your family with health n happiness.
Great Eye Opener! But the things are changing with the time, I have insurance with a well known Indian company which has cashless process... and it hardly took 30 minutes. I hope NAVI has better offerings and claim management. The worst thing I see in the comments is, People are blindly following you... Which I feel you wouldn't recommend too... Eg: People have downloaded the NAVI app and asking you to suggest the best plan... That's crazy! @People - Its okay to follow a UA-camr to understand any new concept, But its not Okay to blindly follow them and expect the mass spoon feeding.
Seriously bro..same thought. I do admire him a lot but these things are really disheartening. Moreover in that playlist, he said he took health insurance when he was 25. In this one, he told he took it when he was 23.🙂
I guess, while there are so many new plans are evolving, people get stuck with existing ones, to avoid hassles of one more medical test, loss of no claim bonus, cooling off period in new policy for pre existing diseases etc. These are huge exit barriers. Insurance portability framework needs to evolve hugely to offer customers a choice.
That's really eye-opening situation. Many won't think of this & insurance can be both a problematic & helpful for financial situation at least to some extent...
Masterful story telling combined with articulate, quality content. Thank you Ankur for teaching us these life changing finance concepts in a heartfelt way 🙂

But was surprised that there is no provision of Port in, which otherwise is the IRDA guideline. Hope to get some clarification on this issue.
I had a health insurance, icici Lombard done by my university. Post covid treatment I got a very easy claim process from their system. I had to upload the documents online in the app and also sent the original docs to the HQ. Money was transferred within 10 days. Same with SBI Life insurance. After my dad passed away due to covid, on an easy documentation process, I received the death claim very easily in 20 odd days.
Hi Ankur, I took two policies recently and they made it clear that the auto-restoration feature only applies after your total sum insured is exhausted. In your example if 1L is remaining, it would not be restored until you have used it. Another thing about Navi, siblings can not be in a single policy. I took 2 policies hence, one for me and the other for my sister. P.S- Just some clarification not at all intention to point out cons Cheers!
Hi Ankur, The experience with Life Insurance is equally humiliating. Last year I applied for my dad’s life insurance. Despite giving all necessary documents including death certificates and doctors certificate, It was not enough. According to the company’s application form I had to find someone who was not related to me, a respectable citizen of India, should have met my father few days before his death, should have seen my father after his death and before funeral, should have been part of the funeral. He has to fill 20-25 points and sign for the claim to get processed. It was really difficult as my father passed away in Delhi and the claim had to be made in the branch in Assam from where the policy was taken. My dad was a big fan of this company And was sure this company will support zindagi k baad bhi. Processes should be there to help people not to make things difficult. Hope things changes for the better

I hope Navi succeeds, because this is the reason most Indians don't like insurance. They all have heard horror stories about how the insurance companies will humiliate their customers before giving them money. And no one wants to deal with that, specially after a death or medical issue. This may be false, maybe there are good companies too, but this is the optics right now and it is ugly.

It is important to figure out nitty gritties like how much is the room rent cap, any disease wise capping, deductibles, any scope for any medical checkup reimbursement , coverage of pre-exisiting diseases - these must be sorted out before you take the plunge
I know you have mentioned that it is a paid promotion but would have liked if you had said that in the video too. Expect this from a responsible creator like you Ankur. Thanks for quality content !
Dear Ankur, while I was conversing with a policybazar person I got to know that PhD students like me who get a stipend of 31k+HRA pm are not eligible to enroll for term insurance plans! I feel is a huge void in the systems that costs researchers like us dearly. Can you help? They said that fellowships do not qualify as salary, as per the insurance companies. Where should we researchers go? Thanks for making the so-called erudite like us, financially literate.
Personally I have been tracking Navi & is growing immensely. And I also think they are going to grow exponentially. I have bought few products because of the disruptive goal & to support the company as well.
You are talking about 2000s but man I had the same experience in 2018 and that too with big hospital and insurance company......NAVI seems to have amazing mindset to change the way we deal with Insurance...I have bought a policy and thanks for the video
From my side what I can suggest you is read your policy carefully and understand every point. And don't hide anything from the insurance company, if you drink or smoke tell them about this.
For all the questions asked here i guess i have the answer for it... To be successful we have to try something new i tried it... Health insurance is all about believe and proudly i can tell my choice was right they are really doing their work good which is my personal experience and i am an example their promises are true
Thank you @warikoo, for sharing ur learnings through painful personal experiences. I have been following Navi for some time as looking for a heath insurance but bit confused about two thgs: 1. the dedicated relationship person, as both go digit & policy bazaar also claim the same & 2. Turn around to settle, though not 30 mins but both digit n policybazaar claims within 60 mins or such.
I think you're confused about policy bazaar. It is not an insurance company itself but a marketplace or a broker that sells insurance of other companies. What policy bazaar have are dedicated sales manager who will be assigned to you when you buy insurance through policy bazaar. You can contact that manager if you need any info about your insurance or have any query or need assistance in filing a claim. But that's it. That person is NOT from insurance company. On the other hand, Go Digit is an insurance company. Many companies have relationship manager but they don't highlight it much because those managers are less in number, so every manager has hundreds of clients, so not reachable easily.
@@visionaryafall I am well aware of policy bazaar is an aggregator platform & digit an insurer, though yes I am confused over their respective on portal claims. 1. Dedicated relationship manager/ claim settlement team( in case of policy baazaar irrespective of which ever insurance policy) who wd help in claim settlement within an hour. Infact not just policy bazaar but other aggregator platform claims dedicated support, hence the dilema. Though Navi looks promising day by day with updates in policy n app, based on trust of being backed up from Sachin Bansal. But claim settlement is smthg anyone would face unless in that scenario.
I never Buy any insurance product till date , and now looking for one health insurance for family Hope being sponsored Navi, NAVI actually work in real platform

I have health insurance from National Insurance company, it's been 5 years since I started the same, if I switch it from National insurance to NAVI wouldn't I miss my 5 years of seniority ? Or NAVI will provide me benefits of previous 5 years ? Please clarify.
Insurance can also be ported now like mobile numbers have MNP. If you want to move to Navi, talk to them about porting your existing insurance to Navi. If they have porting facility, they might be able to help you. But last I check few months back, Navi app lacked a lot of features and it didn't even seem like a full fledged insurance company. But it was few months back. Situation now surely might have changed, so it'd be best to talk to their customer care. Don't forget to ask everything in written documentation, including all charges like premium increase year by year, co-pay, mandatory deductible, waiting period, exclusions, etc.
I have my insurance last 20 years. I contacted Navi and they said portability option isn’t there as of now. So if I purchase insurance from Navi my 20 years benefit will be gone and I have to start refresh. @ Ankur please mention this very important point in another video. I almost finalised to shift to Navi after seeing your video
Health insurance is mostly required by old aged senior citizens...but the coverage caps for preexistingailments and facilities are the least and the premiums for these segments are the highest...this aspect is the most annoying thing about health insurance sadly

Mr. Warikoo, everything you said is correct and i agree with you on this topic but there are few things which you missed or said incorrect. 1. The auto restoration policy says once you exhaust whole limit of say 5 lac, the after they'll restore the limit. If you use 4 lac out of 5 lac, and you need to use 2 lac again, you've to pay 1 lac from your pocket. They'll only restore limit once 5 lac is fully exhausted. This i confirmed from the company itself with their customer service. 2. They currently don't have any option to port health insurance from earlier insurer to navi company. You've to buy fresh policy which renders the earlier benefits of time span for several disease where there is waiting time for say 2 and 3 years.
Sir..Imp consideration is- Do they honour that 30 min claim process promise? How many times? Even max healthcare and policy bazaar give you a 30 min claim guarantee but we all know ,how well they stand test of the time. Please ask your Navi team to provide evidence of fulfilling this promise, then only we can believe.
There is too much obscurity in Navi health insurance. There prospectus tells something their customer care executive tells about some different insurance plans. No where I can find all the terms and conditions, features, exclusions of the policies.
Sir, please make a detailed video on INDEX FUNDS and why should we invest in it and it's taxation process and all... Hit the like button if any of you want the same
From two weeks , I have been getting this app's AD on UA-cam. So my biggest question- *How can you convince us to drive to this Network, How safe is our premium?*
Appears to be an excellent product. But only concern is w.r.t. trust on brand. This is very new and not proven. And most of the time every expert says go with the brand so that there is no tension. Stupid question may be, but since it just started, what if tomorrow Navi insurance doesn't exist, what will happen with our insurance?

But main Thing is Make In House claim Settlement, NAVI has TPA and this Not Good.
And add Ayush Treatment. Thats All.
Rest of All , this NAVI is Best Health insurance NAVI. Thank You For Your information.
Your storytelling is commendable 👍
Thank you
It is important to figure out nitty gritties like how much is the room rent cap, any disease wise capping, deductibles, any scope for any medical checkup reimbursement , coverage of pre-exisiting diseases - these must be sorted out before you take the plunge
Nowadays in UA-cam Everyone lectures abt health insurance but no one is giving info on which company to choose
I know you have mentioned that it is a paid promotion but would have liked if you had said that in the video too. Expect this from a responsible creator like you Ankur.
Thanks for quality content !
Dear Ankur,
while I was conversing with a policybazar person I got to know that PhD students like me who get a stipend of 31k+HRA pm are not eligible to enroll for term insurance plans!
Awesome
This is his Only worth watching video till now..Navi👍.
I think it's the Best video for my Health and also for the Well Being of my Family too 😷
You are talking about 2000s but man I had the same experience in 2018 and that too with big hospital and insurance company......NAVI seems to have amazing mindset to change the way we deal with Insurance...I have bought a policy and thanks for the video
you fell in the trap of paid promotion. Did you check the CSR for NAVI?
full hearted thankyou , and god bless you , guys like you mr ankur , and truly a classic Hindustani ,thankfull that india have you
Planning to buy a Health Insurance (inspired by you, xD). Would you advise to go with NAVI Health Insurance, being it's very new to the game.
Same question
I think you can try policy bazar. You will even find someone around you who may have got the insurance from pb
From my side what I can suggest you is read your policy carefully and understand every point. And don't hide anything from the insurance company, if you drink or smoke tell them about this.
Go with a advisor, trust me everything seems perfect online unless you encounter a claim
Hdfc
For all the questions asked here i guess i have the answer for it...
To be successful we have to try something new i tried it...
Health insurance is all about believe and proudly i can tell my choice was right they are really doing their work good which is my personal experience and i am an example their promises are true
Thank you @warikoo, for sharing ur learnings through painful personal experiences.
I have been following Navi for some time as looking for a heath insurance but bit confused about two thgs:
1. the dedicated relationship person, as both go digit & policy bazaar also claim the same &
Insurance companies should also add ayurvedic, naturopathy and yoga treatments as well.
Finding you on the internet is a blessing. May god bless you. Thankyou! 😊😊😊
My health insurance is currently from HDFC Ergo, expiring on 16 October, as per your suggestion I am going with NAVI
Porting is not available with NAVI 😭
If possible also check for opd if the insurance company provides. Some companies charge a little but provides opd discount up to ₹10000, it helps.
I never Buy any insurance product till date , and now looking for one health insurance for family
Hope being sponsored Navi, NAVI actually work in real platform
No more questions sir...
You have make it crystal clear fou us...
Sir kindly make a video for how to write an effective mail....since you r so friendly with mails i personally request you for this..

@Wariko, Thanks for all such important information about cashless claiming process and the way to choose a health insurance.
I have hurd a lot about navi i have decided to buy it once I have some recurring money
You're a blessing in manys ways to investors in 20-40 years age group.!
I Bought One Today From Navi. Thanks To You.
Mene sahi time pe Abhishek Kar and aapka ye video dekha he. Thanks for the guidance 🙏❤️🙌
I have health insurance from National Insurance company, it's been 5 years since I started the same, if I switch it from National insurance to NAVI wouldn't I miss my 5 years of seniority ? Or NAVI will provide me benefits of previous 5 years ? Please clarify.
Usually you can renew your insurance with a different provider. Which will consider your previous years as well.
@@zindagi5910 Hello, can you please tell a bit more about the benefits you get in seniority or keeping a policy for long that is being discussed here?
Wow Ankur sir. This is very very very informative video.
It's the same as what u said. You got the pulse. Navi sounds promising, let's wait and see how it progresses.
I trust you, If you trust on NAVI.
So I am also.
Thanks for making awesome video for health insurance.
Health insurance is mostly required by old aged senior citizens...but the coverage caps for preexistingailments and facilities are the least and the premiums for these segments are the highest...this aspect is the most annoying thing about health insurance sadly
Hope NAVI will make our process easy and provide better health insurence
They(Navi) rejected me from purchasing my dad's health insurance because of pre-existing conditions we need laws protecting us against these insurance vultures
Didn't you mentioned your Dad's Pre existing diseases to them, there must be some waiting clause for PED ?
@@neha703 nope straight rejected me from purchasing... only one or two companies are willing to take a risk... that too for 1 lakh premium
@@ShrekCunther omg so high premium.
Even I contacted policy bazaar and my dad's Health insurance policy also got rejected once becoz of his PED. Did you got Health Insurance later from any other company now?
@@neha703 no!!! it's not that simple like these UA-camrs say we need laws to force companies to issue insurance ... or we need something like NHS or other European countries to have .....hopefully central govt's ayushman Bharath will add this or create a new law
@@ShrekCunther ya you are right . Hope so ✌️
I brought health insurance after your video
Well Cashless usually take
which Insurance company you have opted ?
Mere papa ka death hui covid se January ko...wo 1 mahina se hospital me admit the. Covid time me hospital wale ne insurance lene se mna kr diya bola government issue hai..unhone bola tum claim kr lena ilaj ke baad me..karib 27 lakh ka kharcha aaya...papa bhi nhi bache or paisa bhi half aaya...wo bhi 4,5 mahine insurance office me verify ke baad...ye log paise le lete hai jaanke bhi ki hamhe dorna padega....Hospital wale to bilkul bhi co-operate nhi kiye.
@шarikoo who are you?
Every insurance should watch this and improve.
Thanks ankur❣️
Sir, Thanks for sharing the valuable information. I request you to please create more videos in order to opt insurance and show us the process of doing the same through NAVI application.
I remember commenting on a video asking Ankur to review Navi and here he is !
Waricrew definitely reads the comments :)
I am going to have Navi bcz of you and Mr.Sachin 👍
👍 recently went through medical reimbursement, could relate totally. if possible then please make video on life insurance claim process on the basis of experience of people who went through that.
U r simply superb man. The way u explain is fantabulous. Criteria which I think off u always mention that and I feel great to see myself going in right path. Also, u gives more information which we may not be knowing something about NAVI insurance like 30 minutes process n restoration process. I will defiantly share this videos with my friends. I wanted to give one compliment that your eyes are so sharp n very positive n the way u explain things with smile is mind blowing.😊👍. Also thanks for making video about job loss instance which I was not knowing nor I was aware of it.
How fast the Cashless Network of Navi is growing and by the end of 2022 what is expected no.s of cashless hospital we can expect?
Eventually, I just renewed my Car insurance with them :). They also claim to settle claim in 48hrs.
Hi Ankur ji, this video seems to came at right time. I was looking for a health insurance w/all the features you explained. Hope I can trust Navi😀 Thank you.
