Got that in my Edition 35 but this Spot is huge enough for a Truck. The Park Assist is nice for spot a small parking Space and with a DSG all you need is to change between D and R and the Brake. The Feature i never want to miss is the Rearview Camera. BtW, what about the Hazard Lights?
That parking spot is huge do you really need this? In my country parking spots are from 90's cars are bigger but they want to make more spots on small space

Wow I am amazed!! I've got the Canadian version of the same car, 2012 Golf TDI 2.0 Comfortline 6MT (made in Germany) but it has no such intelligent features whatsoever, and the control buttons are just blank squares!! I didn't even think these models had auto parking in Europe nor automatic cruise control.
Here in North America the market is 5 years behind in terms of technology, and all those gadgets like blindspot monitoring, backup cameras, emergency braking, collision alert, etc only started becoming common around 2016 here. I suppose VW/Audi and the other brands had this stuff for over a decade now.
Those are just options you can get by paying more

@@dehechenka huh??? even the top-of-the line Golf model only had leather seats, sunroof, navigation, heated seats. The Audi A6 of the same year didn't have fancy LED lights or blindspot cameras either and it was a $60k car! You cannot simply pay more, if nobody even sold them 10 years ago, right?

Hello, I have one question.
On my Golf 6, when I press Park Assist button, on MFI appers Speed to low, even if I drive 20km/h, or 5km/h, or 50km/h, always says Speed too low. What could be problem?
I can't connect my phone to the car. As I see I have the same board. Did you have problems with Bluetooth?
The bluetooth module its not in the car. When i bought mine i saw it has bluetooth when i click Media but its grey. And i searched why its not working and i saw that the bluetooth module its not in the car. If you want you can check under the passenger seat if its there just restart it (unplug and plug the cables).

I have that feature on my MK6 but its slow AF.
I have it in my Golf 7. I dont use it often, but sometimes its very helpfull if you have no chance to park manuell.
Its faster than a woman :)
This car is 11 years old, the Germans were ahead of their time for this technology

ohhh wow the Volkswagens in america don’t even have all these features, i have a 2014 Passat and my cousin has the same exact golf (made in mexico) and they dont have them, just plastic missing buttons even on the SEL trim ones too, like now the newer VW are staring to have them but to know that this was out there really sucks wish they had this over here in the U.S
Same lol. I have a 2012 golf gti and I always wondered what those other 4 buttons besides esc were. I now know what 3 of them were. Now to get that last one...

The Golf v had these buttons already and NEVER had all of them used from stock.
I have a full options mk5 GTI from 2008, still 2 dummys.
We didn’t get this in North America until the MK7.

Its for sport and comfort mode of the suspension

Wouldnt use it because its steering while standing which is bad for the tires better do it while rolling really slowly

Suti PD in the 2015 VW tiguan From my dad, you only have to use clutch and brake. Maybe because it‘s a diesel?

I have a Golf 6. Pretty glad I don't have the auto park feature, can't believe how slow that was. And that space was HUGE! The Golf is the easiest car I've ever had to park and I've managed to get it in spaces barely bigger than the car 🤦😂
the driver must be able to park without help...
they should call that female accident prevention assist. Any guys parks in a fraction of that time.

Its shit, load of crap, dont need any assist its Easter to park a car your self, and faster and safer this is just a joke, dont get why they even make this type of crap, no wonder why people cant park these days, I saw a lady trying to park a new audi q3 and she took half an hour to park and still didn't park properly and she had a audi q3 from 2017, I can park faster and safer and better then that lady and I'm driving a toyota corolla 2002. Learn and stop buying cars with these ridiculous features that are just there to cause more issues.
