@@johnmann7o2 delays were not perceivable, just some effects like jumping were different - i.e. jump on V3 produces good tilt, but in the RS mega not so much. For other effects like roll, gear change the V3 was extending the feeling nicely, but you loose some of the effects coming from the RS as the connection between rig and seat is not firm because of the seatmover.
Hey Stuyo may I ask you something... In the videos some month ago, you had 3 curved monitors. Now you switched to flats. Was this because you didn´t like the curve or of another reason? I´m also thinking of moving to tripple screen and am not sure if to go flat or curved. I know with curved your angles arent correct etc. But it seems that immersion could be even better. If I would choose right now I would go the save route and buy me some 32" flats. What are your thougts on this topic?
Hi mate, I guess I will have to make more in depth video for that as lot of people asked :) The curved were 27", transition after my G9 was sold. They were nice, with shaft extension when placed right behind wheel they were spot on. The extreme 1500R curve was nice wraparound, really like how it look. The problem was you cannot align bezelfree kit properly, it need extreme angles on the curved to work properly. As I have full motion and monitors are freestanding I figured I need them behind wheelbase and had luck to sell to a friend two of the monitors so went 32". They are flat because for the price the Asus TUF was the best option at the time. I wanted 1800R, but got what I could. Comparing both I feel like picture renders a little better on the flats, also when driving it seem more natural, closer to real car, but of core this is highly subjective. To sum up - curved give you smaller footprint and better wrap around as they sit at more closed angle, but the flats at least for me look a little more natural as they are now at 60 degree and edges are not so near me. I would have like to test 1800R curved as well, but never had the opportunity, could be something like sweet spot between flat and 1500R. Also with curved you have tighter monitor fit so it is not that easy to get out and in from the rig, but their outside edges are closer to your head so you have better wrap around.
@@57uyo Thank you verry much for your profound answer! 1800R could really be something to look into. I wasn't aware that there are 32 inch monitors with that curvature. And of corse we would like to see a video from you on this topic XD. Keep up the good work!
Damn thats dope 👌 👏
How are you running both nlr and eracing labs? Which software allows you to use both? Subbed.
SimHub port forwarding to NLR software, it then forwards to SRS. If game allows direct read on telemetry no port forwarding is used.
That's great, I'll keep that in mind if I add rs mega+ to my yaw2. Were there noticeable delays? Sync issues for both?@@57uyo
