Update on the gel: The gel didn’t flake on me!! I think because it’s so dark, that’s why you won’t see any flaking. When I took my ponytail out I did have a few flakes fall from my head that’s to be expected after wearing the style for a while. I had this style in for 4 days. It will last a week or longer if you tie it up at night.

Sis, I went to buy products you used, but I couldn't find the black hideout, but I found the pomade in natural black, but it didn't say hideout. I aske the lady when I was checking out "do yall have black hideout" she said they probably sold out.
However, when I got home and looked at the small natural pomade I had purchased I Instantly started laughing 😃 😀 and thought about you.
How bout, it said hideout on top of the lid, but I didn't see it. I looked on the side and the back because you found yours on the side, I never looked at the top of the lid 😆 🤣 LMAO Iaughed so hard and said to myself "she did say 📚 reading is fundamental " I thought I had read everything, but I didn't read on top of the lid & I saw it in small print on the back smdh. I had to share this with you, because it was too funny 🤣 not too.

I swear by these edge controls. I actually thought the larger containers had less hold and were more gel than edge control so I usually buy the small ones. The black one has less hold so i usually tint my edges with the black one and then go over it with the clear edge control. It doesn't flake and stays perfect every time.

That’s because they are gel. The small containers are the actual edge control/ pomade. They’re Not the same thing

I didn't know what The hideout ment until you figured it out LOL I use to use a gel way back in the day and it was a black/brown gel but even that wasn't as colored as that one was but the one I used to flake so bad and because of the color the flakes looked bad it would get everywhere I get why it says hideout because it's covering everything and it is messy as I can see but I still want to try the natural one you have I just don't know which scent yet because I ain't never seen nothing get as slick as that and actually hold the hair without lifting past some time

it holds good but it look like I put black tar in my hair didn’t like it and the price is outrageous
So I can imagine how this dye transfer on furniture or ur pillow at night 🫣🥴 so after some build up you definitely have to wash that out huh.. which I’m sure turns the shower black 🥴..
