I finally broke down and purchased this product and I can testify it do lay my 4c hair down omg I was very impressed only down fall is it leaves a white residue on your hair and I was very disappointed ☹️

that would be way too heavy girl! lol Try "Got2B" it's awesome and controls "textured" hair as well, but perfect for the purpose you're taking about. For an even lighter hold without the mess, consider a mouse. That would work perfect for you. Good luck.

Does that gel leave a white, flaky residue or does it leave tacky, glue-like deposits like Got2B Glued glue, when you brush your hair or change your style. I want to use it for wash-n-go styles. Is it clean in the hair like Eco Styler gel with no tacky or flaking??
I wouldn’t recommend this for wash and gos. Too hard and it is sticky once it dries it isn’t.

Great job on the hair but have to say a BIG THANK YOU for wearing foundation that actually matches you facial skin colour and your neck! I'm fed up of seeing the orange/white powder baked faces that look like ridiculous clowns. Foundation is meant to match and enhance your skin not change your actual facial colour like a mask. Again, THANK YOU.

There edge control is good however that gel Isn’t as good as their edge Control it goes on nice beautiful shine but after a couple of hours on my hair was very dry and Brittle

Thank you for this your hair is beautiful. I did a pony tail yesterday using Cantù edge and that night my hair was coming down and super greasy, so I went out a bought edge booster I hope it works I have short 4c hair as well.
Girl now that YOU'VE tried it I can gone ahead and give them my $9 because I was terrified that I would waste my money again because my 4c hair just GIGGLES at every gel or edge control I try. No lie, I've spent $70 on gels and edge control because my hair just curls right back down and my hair is pass shoulder length and I still can't get a sleek ponytail. Girl the STRUGGLES.

Yes edge booster is a great product for thick hair . I have 4b - 4c hair and it holds perfect throughout the whole day . This is probably the only gel // edge control that works on my hair . Trust me it’s worth the price

If it’s the smaller jar it’s probably the edge control and not the gel! The gel only comes in the big jar!

good form outsold I use the green olive oil one it says maximum hold on the tub maybe that’s why it works so well for me
I think it has to do with the thickness of your hair and all the length around your hair for me eco works for like 4 days when I slick my hair in a ponytail because the front of my hair is really short

I have really coarse 4c hair and I found that putting ANY oil in my hair before ANY edge control is not good...the edge control can't fully hold with all the slippery oil..even the strongest holding ones...I go straight in with edge control and it has my hair laid the entire day. Each person hair is different I do believe the edge control you're using is good but the method used is different for everyone. Thanks for sharing
