Hey MB Crew!! This video is previously recorded!! I just filmed the video today, about the current state of my hair. It will be up sometime this week!! Normally before applying gel I apply an oil but I already had oil in my hair. Also I didn't spray my hair with water because I didn't want my hair to shrink down!! I did this for the first time today. After several hours though my hair looked very dry and no longer the same texture as the braiding hair. Any suggestions ladies???
I have very thick , very dry 4c hair . To combat the dry look , I spray my hair with water , then massage in a hair oil or a little hair grease . I comb and brush it through really good and then proceed with the gel .

Yes and it did not slick down enough. I’ve only tried with the eco styler gel. I will try with this type of gel to see if that works.
@@virginianatalie2879 you may have to slick your hair down in layers. That usually works for my thick 4c hair.
