I am no expert but I would talk to a physical therapist because that can be treated with some simple workouts with a stress ball. I am guilty of not wanting to rest and take days off but a little rest can go a long way when paired with some workouts.
@@EverythingPB going back to my Selkirk Air, has more pop and power which dissipates the energy back into the ball rather then the arm. Think the swingweight is less on the Selkirk, fast hands. Good firefight paddle. And it's partially white, hee hee. Sounds bader too. Played for 10yrs with all the premium paddles. Gotta try that G Box pro. Never did like Gbox though, that goofy raquetball handle.
I also love the hybrid shape best. Looking forward to your review of the Slice. Another one you should review is the Pickleball Apes Pro Energy S coming out next month. It is their hybrid shape
i got this paddle..i like to see ur review on the professor phd paddle..for 100 bucks cant beat it..noone has reviewed the phd, love to see one..cool channel
I have posted it on instagram and my community page. I will try to make a short today to try and spread the word as much as possible. Hard to beat that price.
The rainbow was a limited edition. The double black diamond is the control model while the black is the power. The power model is not as forgiving and better for higher level players
After 3 years of playing and trying bunch of paddles I have vatic v7 and carbon x3. both are awesome. Why 2 paddles? One is for dura and the other for franklin balls. The Vatic has crazy pop and dura balls fly off like crazy from it. CRBN has more control and for those, but much less power than Vatic.
I have similar issues with most thermoformed paddles. I also keep two paddles in my bag for that reason. When I play against the higher level players at my local courts they only use dura balls. It takes me a few games to adjust.
Great video!!! Will definitely watch more!! What is your go to paddle that gives you better control. I’ve been playing for about a year and looking to upgrade from my first paddle which is an Onix Z5. I was seriously considering this one. But I also am still learning the different shots snd don’t want to sacrifice control. Thanks!!
Thanks, I really appreciate it! My go to paddle right now is the kiwi labs slice. I am working on that review now. I think it’s one of the best control paddles no one is talking about. It too has a break in period, and it gets softer over time. I actually keep it and vatic prism flash in my bag. Every time I go back to the slice I remember how good it is. It’s a great paddle to learn drops, resets and controlled drives. If you get it keep me posted! I like hearing others opinions on paddles. Everythingpb will get you 10% off. kiwipickleball.com/?ref=0t8wal6n
I've read the 6.0 has tweeked the DBD and since June the handle is different and the paddle is slightly softer. Not sure if this is all true, but a few reviewers have mentioned this
I notice you’re rocking Xeros on the court… been considering them for my next court shoes. Do you like them? I know next to a paddle, footwear is the most important piece of equipment. Thanks!
I do love my xero shoes. I will make a video on them in the future. I went to barefoot shoes because of pickleball. My feet were hurting all of the time when I started. I have been in these full time for 6 months. I can say I don’t have any more pain. They don’t hold up the best on the courts, but xero stands by there warranty. I have had to use the warranty on 2 pairs. I would suggest checking out the HFS II. Gear.com has coupon codes all of the time. I would warn against leaping into barefoot shoes like I did. I would start with wearing them to work, around the house and causal walking if you have never wore barefoot shoes. It takes months to train your body to not heel strike.
Prio’s are a thicker material. I use those for yard work and casual wear. Hfs 2 have thicker soles which is best for the courts out of the rest of them. I haven’t tried the kelso. Hfs 1 is super thin material and probably the lightest.
Just started playing a little over a year ago. I come from a ping pong background. What paddle do you recommend for a big buy? 6'3" 280 lb + Clydesdale class. LOL. I like to attempt spins on the ball, gets me in trouble most of the time though.
I am about that size so you might like the Kiwi Slice a lot with the thicker grip. I did a review of that paddle. Offers good pop and power with a lot of forgiveness. Doesn’t have the most spin. Second would be the Pickleball Apes Pro Line S that is just about to release. I have been playing that for a few days and it’s a good all round paddle. Third option is a ronbus r3 pulsar if you like elongated paddles. You can’t go wrong with any of those. Depends if you want a bigger sweet spot, more power, or just good all around? linktr.ee/everythingpb Code for Ronbus is “RCEVERYTHINGPB”.
I would say if you are playing against better players a lot it might. The pop only bothered me when playing higher level players. I don’t think you will struggle adjusting from your previous paddle.
The two best paddles I can think of and still really enjoy is the Kiwi Labs Slice. Which was just updated with more spin and a normal size handle. The Bread & Butter Loco. linktr.ee/everythingpb You can’t go wrong with either. If you want something cheaper let me know.
The prism flash is a great paddle for the money. I would consider it a control paddle. You have to work harder for drives and put always. If you are looking for more pop/power go with the DBD. If you want more control then go with the prism. Same coupon code works for vatic as well.
I bought the prism flash excellent first paddle but a little lite on power so I got the Flash which is thermoformed perfect power and pop and spin.price is also excellent
Great question. This is a solid level 2 paddle for most players. I wouldn’t say this is the best beginner paddle. Any paddle over $125 you are heading into the more high end performance paddle market. That being said if you have some racquet sports background, or just want to start with a high end paddle I don’t think you will regret starting with this paddle.

Appreciate your first effort. You and other reviewers like to include video of you playing with the paddle. For me this is unnecessary and often boring. Adds nothing to the review of the paddle. Keep at it.
Good feedback, really appreciate it! Talking in front of a camera is harder then I originally thought it would be. So I had to record most of it then throw some footage in the background. As I get better, I will use less playing footage in future reviews.
I enjoy watching the play time, let’s me know how good you/they are 😂 and if I should listen to you 😂😉 nice vid, can’t wait for your kiwislice review. Plus nothing more boring than someone just sitting there talking about.
Right on man! gameplay footage is always going to be a better watch than you just talking. Good luck on your UA-cam pickleball endeavour! @@EverythingPB
I was using a ball machine. It tends to shoot them out all over of the place. Obviously that wasn’t game play footage so foot work wasn’t important. It’s hard to know where the next ball will go. You can see that when I am at the kitchen line and the height of the ball varies drastically. When using the machine it’s more about the swing mechanics and not foot work. If you are talking about dinking I was more worried about the footage then my footwork. This being my first video I wasn’t thinking about that all to be honest. But thanks for your nice comment!
Just got the 14mm DBD & love it!! Thank you for your review❣️❣️
Glad you are enjoying it!

First 2 weeks were a bit frustrating, but you are right , it is amazing now
Out of the box I don’t think I have enjoyed any thermoformed paddle.
You put any lead tape?
I did put lead tape to add some stability. A three inch strip on both sides. I start right under the 6.0 logo. Doesn’t need much.

What is the difference between Diamond model and double Diamond ?
I just checked on six zero website, they don’t have the one with rainbow colors??
The rainbow was a limited edition. The double black diamond is the control model while the black is the power. The power model is not as forgiving and better for higher level players

6.0 website say hamdle length is 5.5 in not 5.3.
Theres seems to be conflicting views of the paddle length, not sure why.
Yeah, that’s because a lot of paddles the actual handle is shorter but they claim the extra length you can get by rapping your grip up the face.

This DBD color way is awesome didn’t even know they had that option. Was it a limited edition ?
It was a limited edition unfortunately. I tried to encourage Six Zero to make them again. We will see if that ever happens.
