Great quality video/edit. Appreciate your honest and detailed opinion. I haven't done a track day on the bike yet but I have in a car a few times including Sonoma. I appreciate you very kindly bringing up the weekend hero aspect. I've watched the same person spinning out in front of me multiple times in a single track day and I think we should all understand we're not earning any trophies or winning a race. Please everyone chill and enjoy the experience. You're videos are great and well articulated. Ride safe!
Looking forward to my 1st track day coming up soon it's all about learning having fun sure i want to push it a bit but my 1st session or 2 I'll be taking a careful approach feel my group out and get comfortable with the track layout all about me and bike coming home unscathed end of the day
For race weekends the red flag always gets people. The big 4 TD providers are all Red means stop so the ambulance can get out asap. Where as during races with AFM red is get back into the pit so they can send out the ambulance. And every once in a while you'll see someone stop forgetting they need to get back in.
I was there. I had a blast and happy you did too!
