I grew up there Alfred. Went to CGHS. Had a 9'whaler that we would cruise the Gables Waterway from Tahiti Bch all the way past the Biltmore to the dam at 57th ave. Snook, snapper were abundant near the bridges. My friend had a 24' cabin cruiser he kept on davits at his house on Alhambra. Bridges were low but boat fit. I feel very blessed to have grown up there.
Melbourne Beach Florida 🌴 Church of the little flower. Great vlog. Our home. Parents home. Snorkeling for golf balls in back of Biltmore. Between US1&Ponce bridge's should be a small boat ramp. Enjoyed. Thank you Al.
Alfred at 2:58 in the video there is a boat on the left side of the canal with a blue canopy and two houses past that is where in the early 1960's I jumped into the canal and cut my knee open. I was probably 8 years old and I was suppose to be taking a nap and had snuck out of my house which was across the street from the canal on Sistina Ave. Went home with my leg bleeding badly and wrapped it up and got into bed and my mother walked in and saw blood and well you can imagine the rest of the story. Anyway great video and thanks for taking me back to a time in my life where innocence and adventure were words I would someday really understand. Best to you!
“I could do this all day” you should I enjoy these 2 videos. I’m a subscriber and I enjoy all your videos but really enjoy when you on the water like this, the tugs and at the sandbar. The boat ran videos are hilarious though.
I was following you on Google Earth and I'm saying "go left go left". So far, epic material. Again, changing it up and keeping us guessing. Nice real nice. Follow up comment to come at the end.
So what did you have for lunch ?? And congrats on the channel , i enjoy seeing some of the behind the scene scenes of the Miami area, thanks for bringing them to us !
Eggs benedict had some from shonies in Colorado gave me horrible food 😫 poisoning. I'd love to see a cousin Eddie house boat in the Biltmore lagoon emptying his holding tanks in his house coat waving at the golfers
Interesting video about the kayak is an understatement lmao, u guys freaking destroyed that thing literally lol!!!! And I absolutely loved that shirt u were wearing at the end of his video lmfao!!! I want one of those shirts!!! And just curious but the people with boats back there how do they get out?! Timestamp 6:35 that looks like Jonathon’s (Salty) boat minus the T-Top!!! Same brand and size and style!!! And at timestamp 21:55 that Regal boat, the good thing about that boat is that the arch on that boat is called a power tower and it folds down to the front windshield with a switch. So it can lower its bridge height significantly. And just out of curiosity, do u have to have a membership or anything like that to eat at the 19th Hole Restaurant?! Awesome video though big man!! It was cool seeing all the house and how tranquil those canals were!!!!
Remember that channel connects to all the canals in Westchester. People use to take their boats from there to the ocean before they blocked it off with dams. Same thing in Palmetto bay.
At first I couldn't believe it was miami, thanks alfred for the wonderful tour, l don't think there are many crocs there, because they need places to warm themselves in the sun and they are mostly missing there.
During the winter winter months the you need to have a special permit to take a motor boat up there. You can only get that permit if you have a house there, once this cold front comes through on Tuesday the manatees will stack up thick up there.
Ok Alfred you have pointed out and said how “tranquil” this place is then about half way through the vid you say “it’s a shame there’s not a public park in here for people to enjoy”.... Dude I’m so glad you’re not into politics bro. 😂
Another epic adventure with Alfred
Aliex what is the fishing like there???

You're so funny, docking your kayak at the Biltmore and going for lunch. Biltmore Manager "hey! no Balseros allowed!"

What a beautiful journey. I need to edit your voice out and add a soundtrack.
Great content bro I love it 👍🏼
I'm new to your channel and I'm not sure if you've been around Coconut Grove's area. It's really nice, gorgeous houses! 😊
Beautiful
Very enjoyable. Nice to have another perspective from you. What is going on at 18:58 on the shoreline? Looks like something is blocked out.
ONLY ONE ALFRED...LOL I CAN FLOAT THROUGH THOSE CANALS ALLDAY ... BOTTLE A WINE , YOUR FAVORITE BLEND..HEHE

You should do Fort Lauderdale/Las Olas. Epic houses and yachts.
It's on the list
Nice....🤙🏼
Church of the little flower/ st Theresa is the Church you were speaking about.
That was cool
Gotta do ocean reef club. Alfred👍
So that boat that came under the bridge is smaller or not as tall as your rib ??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I could fit but didnt want to break the rules
@@AlfredMontaner aja but there is rules for size after that bridge ?? Okey I did not see them, I was thinking if it fits go ahead. 👌👌👌👌👌👌
I hear the florida water level is already rising. Slowly no doubt. Is it becoming more difficult to get boats under the bridges?
Maybe the bridges were built to low?
Cool video. I assume you’re running a trolling motor?

Wow
Church of The Little Flower on Indian Mound trail.
Let's get it

The gondola building just collapsed at the biltmore on Tuesday
Coral Gables, homes in the area of waterway start at 5 million
NOW take the Miami River to the airport!
Are manatees salt water animals or both fresh and salt?
Boat spotting Tom Brady's new center console, anyone know the builder?
Church is Little Flower
I triple dog dare you to pet one of those ducks next time you go there.
Lol. Hopefully he'll secure the camera properly or that footage will be lost to the depth of the canals.
