Oh my heavenly god father...... this recipe of yours is the most chocolatey, chewy, fudgy most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted. Screw the Skor bar. This is EPIC!!! Truly from the bottom of my heart thank you so much for allowing us access to this and your other recipes! WOW!!!!
I’m beyond happy that you’re loving this recipe! Thank YOU for watching, supporting, and trying the recipes! Appreciate you 🙏
@@RahulKamat I just made another batch of 4! Threw in some oats and walnuts.... it’s just so easy to eat healthy when you give us stuff like this!
That sounds so good! So glad I can help you eat healthy, means so much to me!
@@RahulKamat you said 200kcal for both bars. Two bars don't have 200kcal in total right?
This is absurdly good! If someone didn't tell me they're healthy I seriously wouldn't know and I'd just think they're frozen soft chocolate brownies. Unbelievable. Great recipe. Thank you very much
Oh these look unreal man definitely gonna give these a try, thanks!
Let me know how you like them!
They look amazing! Nice job 🙌🏻💪🏼👏🏻
Thank you!!
I made these last night and even overnight in the freezer they're still sticky and on the cusp of being solid. I didn't add any milk though - just the syrup. I didn't have the right moulds so just used a tray. Moulds arriving today though so will give them another shot because even semi-solid it tastes amazing. I had probably half a serving an hour ago and still feel *full*. Love all your passion man - keep it up!
Ill be using those amazon links, thank you for having those in the description!!!!
Hope you enjoy the protein bars!!
Thank you for finally making a protein bar without vita fiber. Finally a bar I can actually make.
Hope you enjoy :)
I have vitafiber but no sugar free maple syrup :(
Lol vitafiber is so hard to get but sf maple is so easy to find for me
@@RahulKamat so I can use vitafiber instead?
I’ve never used it so I’m not sure, but I think it should work fine!
These bars are gas super low in calories and taste great like a frozen ice cream bar kinda. I used Walden farms chocolate syrup and they were fire super filling too cuz of the psyllium husk you’re doing gods work my dude
So happy you’re enjoying them! The psyllium makes the texture better and makes the bars more satiating too!
Did they get chocolatey goo all over your hands? or was it clean to hold like a quest bar?
You're my New favorite thing ! I literaly Bindge watch you ! Thank you soooooo much 👌😘✌️
Appreciate you
Can we get those Reece’s bars?!!!! I have made the a bunch of times and they’re bangin! I want that next recipie please!
So glad you enjoyed these!! I have plenty of vid ideas in the works and Reeces protein bars is one of them!
I mean it could be just the same recipe just use PB2 instead of coco and you got your self a PB bar :) But indeed i want to see how he does it
@@dakzikat3856 just did that... and I used chocolate peanut buttercup iso protein, tastes AMAZING thanks for throwing this out there.
@@gixxer6er252 glad i could inspire
Thats why I cant find sugar free syrup at the store you took them all 😭
Running out of sugar free syrup would be a nightmare, gotta keep them stocked up always
I'm in Mexico... It would cost me around 100$ if I order only 2 bottles like this 😭😭😭😭
@@RahulKamat I have a challenge for you can you do a chocolate free, nut free bar? With these ingredients ? 🙂
That’s ok, sugar free shit is horrible for you
@SamuelTucker12 not more horrible that sugar-y stuff
Definitely going to be prepping these in the summer when I bulk💪🏿
Enjoy!! 💯
This bar recipe is a total game changer! Thank you Rahul
Glad you enjoyed Matt!
Rahul, I just made these with a different variation as I did not have casein and they come out great. I will definitely post it and share the credits to you for this amazing and simple recipe!
Those look friggin good! Totally making these tomorrow!
Thanks! Hope you enjoy :)
Did u make them
Holy crap I just put mine in the freezer and I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY ONE
Enjoy!
Ok, best channel.
Recipes dope, this is helping me out
Appreciate you! 🙏
@@RahulKamat you're welcome!!! I've watched 5 videos so far and now I'm hooked.
Also! Piping in the mixture from a bag might be easier to apply it to the mold.
Earned my sub, I'll link these recipes to my friends
Thank you so much! You sharing the channel with your friends means so much to me! That’s a good idea, using a piping bag would make the process so much easier/cleaner
Ok these are a game changer I gotta try these
If you do, let me know what you think!
I really enjoyed the bars! I added a little pumpkin and pumpkin spice to the recipe. I also want to try adding that marshmallow recipe on this channel to the top of the bars before freezing to see what happens and if it works out well together
Adding marshmallows to the bar sounds like a genius idea!
That looks so good. I'm swapping with the Lankanto maple syrup, though, because I can't have aspartame. Yummy.
Dude. Killer work here.
Thanks so much Clayton!
Ah you are a diamond, thank you so much for this. Will get making these bars very soon. Everywhere I look they got recipe for keto bar or too much carbs in the bars. These looked so good. Seen someone use those whey protein powders or similar before, need to start investing soon.
How are people watching man’s video, benefiting from it and not hitting this like button enough? C’mon people help a good man out! Again thanks for explaining everything so clearly and showing everything properly 😊
You’re the best! Thank you so much! This made me so happy. Keep me posted how you like these protein bars :)
@@RahulKamat yeah I will do, all the best with your channel. Take care
i think i'm gonna give this a try at some point, don't have bar molds but have different silicone molds so they'd be little protein bites x) love you sharing your recipes man! might be good to put macros in the description, btw, already love that you put the recipe there haha
Thanks so much! And protein bites sound awesome!
UR THE GOAT THESE WERE SO GOOD
WOOHOO!!
Can't wait to put this recipe into action 😋
Let’s goo!! Protein bar time!
These look amazing!!! How many bars does this recipe make?
Amazing homemade protein bar 😍😍😍😍
Thank you!! 🙌
Receipe works great! So fudgy and rich
So awesome. Thank you 😊
Thank you for watching!
This looks amazing
🕺
Absolutely genius to mix psyllium husk with syrup. Tried these today and they came out so good! A little sticky, but worth it for the macros and price/serving ratio alone. Can't wait to try more flavors.
So glad you enjoyed! If you use less/no almond milk, they’ll be dryer. I like it fudgey so I add a bit more liquid
@@RahulKamat thanks for the tip! Keep up the good work 👍
you deserve more views, keep at it bro
Appreciate you! Thanks so much :)
Definitely want to see those Reece bars
They’re amazing! Recipe video coming soon
Love your video's!
Thank you!!
Hi, nice video ( and funny too ). These chocolate fudge protein bars need to eaten immediately after removing from the freezer ? Else, they will MELT ? I ask because I like to take them on the road ....
Great recipe my friend.❤
Thank you!
Hey mate, just found your channel, great content and love the deadpan humour. I was wondering, I'm sure you experimented with more protein powder to increase the protein content? What was downside of using more protein powder?
I have experimented with more protein powder and it works and tastes great! The amount I used felt like a good protein/calorie content for protein bars, but feel free to use more!
Thank you , going to make these....
Keep me posted on how you like it!
these were awesome! need a peanut butter flavor and others now
Thank you! Going to work on more flavors, have a lot of vid ideas that I want to make
I got me some of that psyllium husk yo make these proper! Made them without it ages ago and they were banging! Can’t wait to do your exact recipe bud!! I’ll be making one big bar though haha
Hope you enjoy! One big bar sounds pretty awesome!
@@RahulKamat definitely! And seeing they so low calories I can top them with Reese’s chips ❤️❤️❤️
Great video. Well done
Thank you!
I'm going to try these today. But have you done the peanut butter one? If so I can't find it. I too am a PB freak.
These look great! I was going to try making them with Unflavored Pea protein, do you think I would need to add any additional ingredients for flavor?
I’d use cocoa powder or pb2 to add more flavor
Looks good 👍 gota try this recipe just picked up some physllium husk powder at spourts...
Thanks and enjoy!!
Hi rahul!
I def want to see the Reese’s menu!
Do you think this would work using oat fiber in place of psyllium husk? These look incredible for the volume!
I’ve never worked with oat fiber so I’m honestly not sure. They’re definitely the highest volume protein bars I’ve ever seen though!
Is it safe to intake psyllium husk without liquid, heard it blocks intestines without liquid, pls clarify my dout?
I made these and the recipe is definitely a keeper. Only thing is I highly suggest using dark cocoa. I used regular cocoa the first time and it was so bitter it was nearly inedible even with a ton of sweetener.
Thanks for the tip! I’ve always made these with dark cocoa, I can see how reg cocoa would make these very bitter
8:20 Yoo those look amazing! I actually grabbed some psyllium husk the other week at the store. I think I know what has to be done now 🤫
Thanks man! Hope you enjoy :)
i’ve been making protein bars with similar substances and i noticed when i was using whey isolate vs regular whey that the texture and taste of whey is better than whey isolate so casein protein would make sense
Yeah the casein really makes the texture a lot better!
Thank you
Chef tip! Toss that mix in a piping bag and it’ll be way easier to distribute
Smart! That would make the process a lot cleaner and easier. Thank you!
Damn, you saving lives out here.
🕺✊
That's my favorite syrup! I have 20 bottles myself!😂
Right! It’s really the best! I’m always stocked up haha
Can you use water instead of almond milk?
Mine melt really easily in my hand after taking them out and still prett sticky. I didn’t use casein or the almond milk like you recommended…any thoughts?
Do you have to keep them in fridge/freezer?
I made them yesterday and they came out pretty good. I kept one in the freezer which I'll try to bake in the oven today. I wanted to ask you if you still make these since it's been a year and if you have made any changes to the recipe
I haven’t made these in a longgg time but I have air fried these before and it comes out great
I made this with 10 grams of oat flour instead of the psyllium husk. Very good
Niceee!
those look good!!!!
🕺🕺
I made this with just Whey, no Psyllium Husk, and no almond milk and they still turned out great! Next I'm gonna pick myself up some Psyllium husk and try it out again.
Ooh let me know how it compares
@@RahulKamat After trying it out it was a bit more like fudge and I would say it worked better, though not a very big difference. I still don't have any casein though so that's the next thing I've gotta try. Thanks for the recipe, Rahul!
Yes pb bars! Add instant coffee to chocolate bars, make them more chocolaty!
Right!
Wanna see the peanut butter bar!! It looks so good!!!!
🙏
I love that syrup
It’s liquid gold!
When he pulled out all the sf syrup… I felt that
Always stocked up 🙅♂️
could you replace the syrup with greek yoghurt?
Do you have to store these in the freezer or could they just stay in the fridge in a container? Also, do they travel well say if you wanted to bring one with you for a snack later in the day?
Fridge should work fine! They travel well, and if you throw them in the airfryer they get dryer and more portable!
This tastes so good and easy to make, definitely 10/10.
Though is there any way to bake it or a baked version protein bar as this bar will melt so its hard to bring it on the go.
Yupp you can bake it! I’ve air fried the protein bar and it’s really good
@@RahulKamat thank you so much for the prompt response on a 1 year old video! Definitely will try airfrying/baking it and see how it turns out.
Any recommendation of timing/temperature and do you bake them before or after freezing them?
I got you bro! I’ve air fried single bars straight out the freezer for 6-8 mins at 350F
legend.
Appreciate you
When is the reeces recipe coming out? Keep up the awesome work bro!
Thanks! I have a ton of vids planned, gotta make some time to fit that one in
Rahul Bhai your videos are amazing and so so so interesting and am proud that you are Indian ! , Nice to meet you by the way my name is Abhishek : )
Thanks my man! Appreciate your support
Might as well go all the way and use these Skor bits I have laying around 😉
Great idea! Got a vid for low calorie honeycomb coming soon, it’s gonna be a killer topping 👀🤫
How long do they stay solid once take out of freezer? I don't have access to freezer at work
They stay solid for hours. They don’t melt but they might be messy to eat because it’s so fudgey. If you want to make these dryer, leave out the almond milk
Do you have to keep these cold before eating? I'm looking for a homemade protein bar that I can toss in my backpack before I go to school and eat before or after I go to the gym a few hours later
Try baking these bars and they’ll be really portable! Or use a lot less liquid to keep the mixture dryer
These are great. Quick question, is the syrup just for sweetness or is it needed for another reason?
Moisture too
Hi Rahul thanks so much for making this video. Question: is it possible to replace psyllium husk with oat fiber? Or is there any other replacement that you would suggest? My stomach gets bloated when I eat psyllium husk so I try to to avoid having it. Thanks again!!
I’ve never tried subbing it for oat fiber but I think you can leave it out! Just reduce the liquids significantly. Or some oat flour could be a good sub too
@@RahulKamat thanks for the suggestion! I’ll try that
Hope you enjoy the protein bars!
I made these and they were really good. I’m looking to make something like Greg’s protein bars, but would like to add some volume with something like psyllium husk po. Any tips? Exact amounts of ingredients to use for recipe. Also any flavor/topping ideas for them would he appreciated.
Side note: my French toast always comes out like soggy not great tasting bread. The only time it’s worked well was Remington jame’s French toast sticks, that was super good. Any tips on cooking it in the pan?
I think psyllium could be a good addition. My fav protein bar toppings are choc chips, toffee bits, or shredded coconut. Cooking french toast low and slow works well for me
@@RahulKamat okay, so I made a bar with 24 gram vita fiber (microwaved), 20 gram vanilla whey, 4 grams psyllium husk powder, 8 grams Pb fit, and 30 gram almond milk. It was really good, but started melting almost immediately (guessing I added too much liquid.) So do you think the casein protein gives a lot more volume? Cause this one couldn’t even fill one mold, while yours completely filled two to the brim. Would all casein work?
Casein definitely does bc it’s so thick that it makes the consistency of the bars wayyy more dense and far less liquidy
Is there anything I can add to make it hold out it shape in room temperature?
Leave out the almond milk and you’ll be good
Can you do a lemon cake version?! I tried and don’t know how to do a variation. I think I need to add more protein powder or psyllium without the cocoa powder? Also, can we do a version without the syrup? Is there a way to just use granulated sweeter instead?? Help!
Lemon cake protein bars do sound delicious! I think you could do this without the syrup and get a consistency closer to cookie dough
I’m going to buy psyllium! I have quest protein powder that’s a mix of whey and casein, but don’t know the breakdown...thanks for the tips on almond milk...I’ll test it out.
Psyllium is great! Just wait to add almond milk if it’s dry and your protein powder absorbs a lot of liquid!
What are your thoughts on can than xantum gum? As opposed to physillum husk
I’ve tried using xanthan and not psyllium. It doesn’t work and too much xanthan tastes bad and has a gummy texture
Be careful with xanthan gum. While it's technically fiber, because it expands so much it is much more likely to mess up ur stomach.
What can I use instead of the syrup or honey that's healthy and low carb?
Possibly liquid allulose
if we would to pack this in a plastic during a cycle or etc ... would it melt ?
It wouldn’t melt just add less liquid when making it
Dam! You got better macros from 2 bars VS their 1 😅 gonna make this next couples hours
Keep me posted how you like it!
Looks good. Out of curiosity did you weigh how much the bar weighed.
I didn’t weigh the bars but I did add up the weights of each ingredient and used that total weight to make equal sized bars (total weight of mixture / number of bars)
Bro, can we use Xanthan Gum
instead of the Psyllium?
I would say no because too much xanthan can mess up the flavor. Also psyllium has different gelling/absorbing properties
Do a video of those peanut butter protein bars. Those looked real good.
I’m planning a low cal protein reeses cups vid rn!
Does it melt when you take it out and put it in room temp? Or does it still stay solid
It stays solid but I recommend using less liquid. You could also air fry/bake these to make it much dryer and portable
Without this specific sugar-free Maple syrup, mine does not work, it gets hard as ice. I have syrup from many brands and all get frozen. Any suggestion for Europe market?
I’ve noticed this syrup doesn’t freeze solid, maybe use a bit of xanthan gum because it reduces ice crystallization. Also leave out the almond milk bc that freezer solid
Just made them cant wait to try them tomorrow. A bit nervous because we have a different sugar free syrup in Sweden.
Let me know how you like it!
@@RahulKamat omg they are wonderful. I will never buy a chocolate bar again. I will reduce the amount of syrup because the brand “Nicks” I use makes them almost too sweet. Thank you for great recipes 🙏🏽
Can you replace psyllium husk with vitafiber in powder?
Probably, but I’ve never used vitafiber before
Can we use a whey casein blendprotein (like pescience select)
Yes you can!
I don’t find the answer in the previous comments/questions : Can we use whey isolate? Thanks
Yes you can!
I want to share my protien cookie dough recipie I use 1 packet of kodiak kids birthday cake oats, 3 tablespoon Greek yogurt, 1/2 tsp butter, 1tbs cocoa powder and some truvia stevia for Sweetness. Mix everything and set in fridge it tastes like a thick cookie dough
Whered you get those bar inserts or molds whatever you call them
Link is in the description for the exact silicone molds I use!
I went loosely by this recipe with what I had and the results tasted great! That said, the bars really froze solid in the middle. How would you recommend troubleshooting this?
Use a bit less almond milk, make sure the ingredients are mixed throughly, and let em sit out for a few mins before eating
Thanks, I'll try that!
I just made one for test, but it didn't really taste that good - I could probably fix that somehow, but how do you fix the issue where it starts rapidly melting as you take it out of the freezer? Maybe they should be baked?
Yup you can bake them! I’ve air fried and the texture is really good
I need to get me some of that psyllium husk powder asap
It’s some great stuff!
Psyllium changed my life for regularity now learning to cook and eat keto with lots of fiber. Love these videos..fun upbeat great easy to follow. Thank you Rahul Kamat. 💟😉👍
Thanks for watching!! :)
After playing with this for a while I think I like the following recipe best. I would be curious to know what you think. The goal is to have a high volume of food, low calories, easy to make and cheap. The recipe makes 16 soap bar sized servings. I suppose it is a cross between a protein bar and a frozen yogurt bar.
Mix dry ingredients:
1 tsp xanthan gum (to reduce ice crystals)
6 tbsp whole psyllium husks (ground into powder…whatever that is in g, for more fiber)
120g protein powder
20g dark cocoa powder (taste)
10g cinnamon (taste)
Salt (taste)
Mix wet ingredients:
780g canned pumpkin (kind of a filler ingredient)
720g 0% greek yogurt (for protein)
350g steeves sugar free maple syrup (for sweetness)
Combine the two and freeze
82 calories each, 11g protein, 4.5g fiber.
Love the greek yogurt and pumpkin addition! Sounds really good man
I need to try this out
Why is psylium Husk important for the reciepe? And can i use guar gum instead?
It adds fiber, helps the bars hold together, and makes the texture a lot better. Guar gum might not work as well
Made the bar and tastes awesome. Used Whey Protein with 60g of lite milk but didn't get the same consistency then added more psyllium husk. Will make more today but without milk as I'm using Whey Protein only.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Looking fwd for more awesome receipes
