So Sorry for your loss Sir, I have waited also while my father would get transfusions. But if I got hot, I would go sit at the food places near that facility! An my Father would have 2 a month sometimes near the end of his life, and these transfusions take 7plus hours, an on the really hot days, I would just drop him off! This is so sad, I wonder why she just didn't go home when she was getting hot or go to a restaurant near by or something. If she didn't want to drive maybe she could have gotten a cab. Something not quite right here.
I was thinking the same, why didnt she go back home & wait for his call?..it was during COVID, everything was closed..I wish they had someone to drive the couple for medical appointments.
She had health problems and probably didn't have the strength to move anymore once she was in the car. Elderly only have so much energy. Plus, she was a loyal wife. Naturally, she wasn't going to go to far from her husband. Literally as close to his side as possible.
My heart goes out to you prayers going up for you and your family I did go into ER with my husband in the pandemic A month ago He went for blood work I can’t get any one to help me get him out the car a small lady pass by and help me he almost felt on the ground the Valet parkers told me he could not help he were very polite about it and I do understand that’s their job it’s were heartbreaking to watch a strong man standing by and couldn’t help just watching us trying not to let my husband fall we got him in the wheelchair I ask inside I were told they don’t have any to Assist me I will have help Sir stay Strong
I didn't get to pay my last goodbye to my dad when he died in 2021 because of Covid! I know how this poor old man feels about losing his wife. Nobody should be forced to suffer that way!
Why does it take something like this for "policy changes"? For the love of God WTH is wrong with those people? Make everyone who denied her entry sit in a hot car for a few hours so they can get an idea of what that poor woman suffered.
She could have driven to the nearest Walmart which is 4 minutes away from the VA or a store and waited inside they were open during the pandemic, to sit in roast in a car doesn't make sense. He must have been strict with her about gas.
Most hospitals during that time were already allowing 1 person in. Why this hospital was not doing it already was anyone's wonder. The part about her wanting to conserve gas is clearly an older person's statement and you have to meet them where they live. Had it been me I would have pressed further and insisted she turn on the air conditioner and then raised the window and possibly took it a step further and asked the people inside why she was not allowed to wait inside?
They should never be so mean and messy. To me changing the policies on the same day is guilty 😔. I wonder why she just didn't go sit inside of a restaurant or something.

Wow. How sad. I'm glad that after this sad incident of this dear elderly woman loosing her life in this manner that the hospital changed their policy.
Too little. Too late. No excuse.
No one cares about the elderly, if they can't make money off us, then our lives don't count..
unforgivable. Prayers to the family.
Heartbreaking. Common sense and compassion has been lost in this country, perhaps the world. It’s astounding what people will do and then say it is for your safety, even down to death.
Crazy to sit in ur car in 110 degree without running the AC. Anyone would die in that situation
Did the hospital not have a waiting area?
WERE THESE FOOLS CHARGED WITH INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER.??? NEEDED TO BE .
It WAS RECKLESS AND NO THOUGHT GIVEN TO THE WELFARE OF PEOPLE.
Sending my condolences 💐 to the woman’s family may she RIP🙏
Such a beautiful lady gone to soon. Family has my condolences 💐. Wish hospital could have let her in. Sad 😔
I can't understand why his wife would just sit in the heat! The Valley is only so big an not far to drive to any location to get out of the heat, even home!
She must have had many underlying conditions?!
Once again, So sorry for the passing of your wife.
I sure as hell hope he sues the holy crap out of them!
Not malicious or reckless, but negligent. How the hell does a hospital let a person die in the parking lot? Suing won't bring her back, but it would send a message.
Exactly
She’s old enough to know to turn on the ac or go outside of the car. It’s NOT the Hospital fault but hers! Sorry but that’s the truth. She wasn’t a baby who could get out.
This is so heartbreaking!!
My prayers go out to you my brother, nothing will replace what you have lost
I'm sorry, u had a long wonderful life with your wife, u are in my prayers, she was a beautiful woman. We are all thinking of you .
Regardless of Covid restrictions they should've allowed her into a room alone to wait. People were crazy in the beginning.
You should've called a cab to take her home. You should have known the policy. Never let a older person stay in the car alone.
Yup, I live in AZ. Cars get HOT, babies and dogs arent the only ones you need to be aware of. Your mom, yourself, husband.... Be safe and RIP ma'am
Bizzar!!! TERRIBLE!!! I feel sorrow for husband and his beloved wife.😑
How is this anybody’s fault?? I’m sorry she died but she was in a vehicle and she could have turned the AC on… it’s tragic, don’t get me wrong. I feel for this man who lost his wife but this was just a tragic loss that is nobody’s fault.
This is so sad, I wonder why she just didn't go home when she was getting hot or go to a restaurant near by or something. If she didn't want to drive maybe she could have gotten a cab. Something not quite right here.
My deepest condolences to all victims family involved.🙏.
I would've went and sat in a cold McDonald's or somewhere and waited for his call....this is sad.
She had a limp and health issues…..she barely could drive but wanted to go with her husband
Except McDonald’s was closed during the COVID 19 lockdown. Remember?
I was thinking the same, why didnt she go back home & wait for his call?..it was during COVID, everything was closed..I wish they had someone to drive the couple for medical appointments.
She had health problems and probably didn't have the strength to move anymore once she was in the car. Elderly only have so much energy.
Plus, she was a loyal wife. Naturally, she wasn't going to go to far from her husband. Literally as close to his side as possible.
Maybe find a shade tree? where I live fast food was open deemed essential..@@germanshepherd6638
I swear its some low down people in the fucked up world😥😥😥😥😞
The VA hospital will protect themselves at any cost 😢. 😮6/6/24😮😢 Sorry for your tragic loss!
God be with your family I know y'all enjoy the Beautiful Life
My heart goes out to you prayers going up for you and your family I did go into ER with my husband in the pandemic A month ago He went for blood work I can’t get any one to help me get him out the car a small lady pass by and help me he almost felt on the ground the Valet parkers told me he could not help he were very polite about it and I do understand that’s their job it’s were heartbreaking to watch a strong man standing by and couldn’t help just watching us trying not to let my husband fall we got him in the wheelchair I ask inside I were told they don’t have any to Assist me I will have help Sir stay Strong
Hindsight is worth at ton but they said she couldn't come in, they didn't say she had to go set in the car.
She could have driven to the nearest Walmart which is 4 minutes away from the VA or a store and waited inside they were open during the pandemic, to sit in roast in a car doesn't make sense. He must have been strict with her about gas.
Her husband said she didn’t drive much & she was only there to drive him home from the hospital she most likely didn’t feel comfortable driving alone.
@@nsanejane7713 A 4 minute life saving drive with a little discomfort over death? I bet that he controlled her every move, js.
My condolences. 🙏

I'm so sorry sir for your loss, I will pray for you.
Condolences 🙏 ☹️ to the family, but please FILE A Lawsuit, I hope you've started the process, God bless you
I’m so sorry for your loss!
They should never be so mean and messy. To me changing the policies on the same day is guilty 😔. I wonder why she just didn't go sit inside of a restaurant or something.
so sorry for your loss.
Heartbreaking😢
That's her own fault. Anyone would have gotten out of the car before dying. This is nobodies fault but hers.
Why wasn't the car running with the ac on?
She went out there with no water??? Why was she going out there for? Was she feeling sick herself??hypothermia???
When you no longer serve a viable purpose to the US govt, you erased.
I don't really get why this isn't her fault: did she think she could wait outside in a hot car?
She's waiting in heaven for him now 🙏
Did the family sue?
Bless his heart..That was uncalled for..God bless him
Hello Dear
How are you doing today?
Who does that leave your loved ones sitting in a hot car. Hospital supposed to be a place for caring and showing love 💕 I can tell he really miss her
