Thank you for another great demo and review. Thank you as well to Thomann for sending you the guitar for you to demo and review. Please keep the great demos, reviews, and videos coming!!
Love those P90s. I snagged a TE90QM from Thomann recently with Roswell P90s. They have that same quiet mode in the middle position, but with not only great sizzle on demand, but amazing clean tones, too! Great video, Shane! Gives me GAS!
I saw a righty Danelectro 66 that I really liked. It played upside down REALLY well with the reverse offset body and cutouts. Very accessible high frets
Sounds awesome. They're great pickups. Shame the shipping cost is through the roof at the moment. Used to be $80 AUD, but over $200 now. I really like the shape too.
Hey man I bought a Harley Benton JB 20 Left handed to have my own bass to record with (to stop borrowing my friends and restringing) And Ive not played many basses but this guitar for the price 100euros... is the bomb!!! The quality of the build and hardware for the price are scandalous... the frets are clean and well rounded. the electronics for now are good. tuning is great it holds it own. My friend has an Epiphone bass 250/300 euros and the build quality is not to this standard.. I think Harley Benton will become a serious player in the entry / middle level market and give Fender and other brands a run for their money.... I love gear but I´m not a gear snob. If it plays well or sound good.. I´ll but it..BTW you should check out the Behringer Vintage tone monster tube Overdrive pedal .Its 70 euros (100 AUD) And this pedal is bloody fantastic....Cheers for the videos and your playing great stuff..
I would buy this, but cannot find in Mexico. I know Thom an but cannot find. I say it is lovely. It also reminds me of Mosrite. Remember those. Met Nokie Edwards in Brownsville, Oregon.
Eastwood isn't a "replica," specifically; they're more like a copy of a copy. But "Hallmark" models ("60 Custom," "65 Custom," "II," "Gospel") are more like Replicas, but even they aren't the same - they're just _so_ much closer.
I don’t remember where I’ve seen that guitar shape before, however this HB sounds fantastic! Ever since I got my Epiphone LP Special, I’ve started to pay attention to quality priced guitars. Looks great and the P90 tones work for me! I’m trying not to fill my office with a ton of guitars but with cool guitars like this HB, I might be in trouble 😈! 😂 🎸🎸👍🏾👍🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Jamal, this is the body shape of the old Mosrite guitars from the 60s. Kind of a surf guitar. I flipped a righty Mosrite last year. Wish it was a lefty.
@@quiksilver78 Mosrite has been copied by many, but *usually in shape only.* This might be a fine guitar for the price, but it doesn't sound like a Mosrite. (I own two Mosrites.)
I ordered the humbucker one but after watching more videos I wish I would've ordered the p90. I'm already looking at p90's that I can order for it. The lock-in tuners and bridge were really the only reason why I bought it.
@@reubenisaac702 nice. I've been digging around and I think I've decided on a kit from guitar kit world. They have one that has a single coil and humbucker setup.
I hate it when my buzz gets nullified :) HB really does have some neat models for the money.. I wish they would give a bigger break for shipping if you buy more than one or two axes at a time
I have been checking this guitar out. I would like the the new version with the tremolo with the P 90's instead of the humbucker coil splits. EDIT or the classic with the trem. I think the trem version also has locking tuners.
I can think of some examples who made the Mosrite and similar models famous, Nokie Edward's of the Ventures, Kurt Cobain, Johnny Ramone, Erik Brann of Iron Butterfly just to name a few. 😢😮
Would love your help on this guitar! Just ordered the "MR Modern vintage series" from Thomann, I thought the extras it comes with for the price was a no-brainer to go ahead and purchase one. Before buying I made sure the scale was normal like other guitars it shows in the details of the guitar 648mm Which is the same as most guitars out there... And no where in the details does it say it is a baritone guitar. I'm hoping the one I ordered "is not a baritone guitar" I certainly would appreciate some help here. Do you know if they make both styles, the regular scale and the longer baritone scale in this guitar!? I'm hoping I get the regular scale , like the normal guitars out there so I can use the regular 440/E tuning!! Thx a lefty to a lefty😊
Cant get that colour in right hander 😢 so im playing it upside down 😂 but it looks cool still only problem is its awkward to adjust volume and tone as now they are closer to my body than my hands 😂
Awesome Demo/Review. Thankyou. Shame Harley Benton are not available new in Australia they seem to be well made. Australia's Artist Guitars have recently released their 2022 Range with a Number of new Style guitars. Cheers

For some reason I can't get warm with the P90s from Thomann. I didn't like the sound of the thinline tele from HB, although I really like the looks of it, I don't like the clean sounds from this guitar. Both stacked with P90s.
Maybe it’s just me but I really dislike seeing poor bookmatching on guitar bodies. That top looks like my living room floor. Wish Thomann would apply a thin veneer on top to cover it up or just be done with it, sack up and just offer solid colours
