What I would give to see AT LEAST Tim Downie and Neil Newbon continue playing D&D. Not to say the other folks were bad, but their dynamic was fuckin gut-busting.
@@josh___something I dunno Shadowheart and Laezel are so good too. Their VAs keep doing things together and the chemistry is great. Love how the four VAs whose characters kind of rival each others do so well together.
@@ohhello937 I mean, there's probably tons of recording sessions where they had to quip at each other for hours, hard not to build rapport with someone at that point
@@josh___something I don't think they recorded in the same room though? Every behind the scenes I've seen it's just 1 VA in a room with mocap on acting. Majority of the acting was solo and to the player. Even the DnD session they said on social media was the first time they all met up together in a room before.
I agree, it was a real struggle to decide where to cut the audio, it's a tough balance between keeping all the funny things I want in, or having it too big and becoming utterly overwhelmed by the project. Melty Mc Metalhands was excellent and I refused to cut out the "just give it to her" bit to keep Karlach represented.
The way you drew their body language here?! Tim and Neil's chemistry was amazing, and if they ever make a whole show with these characters I NEED more moments like this between Gale and Astarion :') I love them SM
I wish I could like this more than once, you captured both their characters' perfectly. I especially love the look on both of their faces right at 0:27 when Astarion asks for a twenty. Priceless.
oh this is SO good! I love the little details here, like Astarion twirling Gale’s hair and pushing back his finger when they’re negotiating. I wish I could like this video 100 times it’s absolutely fantastic ❤❤❤

as a wizard main i find the rogue asking the wizard for money a ridiculous venture wizard is the class that you have to pay for the whole game and as a result the wizard is almost always poor until late levels meanwhile rogue is one of the cheapest classes to maintain
