I totally agree with you as someone who prefers the band with McDonald. Takin' It To The Streets is my favorite DB album as it has both Michael and Tom. It sucks that Tom had to leave the band but obviously health comes first. I woulda preferred it if Tom remained in the band along with Michael.
The Captain and me has to be their best album, it's indisputable! So many great songs but one stands out, the sublime: Dark eyed cajun woman. Must be one of the best tracks of the 70's.
what were once vices are now habits is my absolute fav.....this album has everything....rock, blues, funk, folk, love melody, its a complete masterpiece for me.....
Good morning; here are my top five; 1. What were once vices 2.Captain and me 3.Touluse Street 4.Stampede 5.Takin it to the Streets. Prefer early rockin Doobies; saw them during Once were tour and the slayed. Thank you Pete for your work, love it!
Personally, I would put *Takin It to the Streets* a lot higher - probably #3 after Captain & Vices. MacDonald is a collaborator on that album, rather than the leader, which I think is almost perfect.
I went back to Takin' after hearing Carly Simon's version of It Keeps You Runnin' (if you haven't heard it, give it a listen - it's wonderful). I found things in the album then that I had missed on release. Just looking at the cover still takes me back to a certain tumultuous time and place in my life!
Long overdue for them to get into the R&R HOF. I always liked “Takin it To The Streets” as the only album to have Tom Johnston and Michael McDonald together. “Turn it Loose” from that album is the best track on it and one of the most overlooked tracks in their catalog along with “Music Man” from Stampede.
1) Minute By Minute (1978) 2) Livin’ On The Fault Line (1977) 3) What Were Vices Are Now Habits (1974) 4) The Captain & Me (1973) 5) Takin’ It To The Streets (1976) 6) Toulouse Street (1972) 7) Stampede (1975) 8) One Step Closer (1980) 9) The Doobie Brothers (1971)
Pete, you absolutely nailed the order IMO! Albums 2, 3 and 4 are one of the strongest trio of albums ever recorded. Right up there with the Dan. I have seen the Doobies a couple of times in the last few years and they haven't lost anything. They can still hit all the notes vocally and in every other way. Great show!
My nana saw a The Doobie Brothers 50th anniversary concert on TV yesterday. She says they are very good. They are still kicking it in their 70’s. She was waiting for them to perform the doctor and they didn’t perform it.
1) The Captain and Me 2) What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits 3) Stampede 4) Toulouse Street 5) The Doobie Brothers 6) Minute By Minute 7) Takin’ It to the Streets 8) Livin’ on the Fault Line 9) Cycles 10) Sibling Rivalry 11) Brotherhood 12) World Gone Crazy 13) One Step Closer
My Top 5 Doobie Brothers Albums. 5. The Doobie Brothers 4. Toulouse Street 3. The Captain and Me 2. What were Once Vices are now Habits 1. Stampede I Cheat The Hangman, got Me into this Band.
I'm glad Pete mentioned "Introducing the Doobie Brothers" (pre first album). I've had it on 8 track for years, and love it. As far as his selection, any of his final three could be top, and "Stampede" is a strong fourth.
Ranking the Albums I've listened to so far: 1. What Were Once Vices 2. The Captain and Me 3. Stampede 4. Toulouse Street 5. One Step Closer 6. Cycles 7. Minute by Minute 8. Livin on the Fault Line 9. Debut 10. Takin it to the streets
Thanks for a great topic Pete! Inspired me to go back and listen to all of their 70s and 80s catalog. My biggest revelation is how good and underrated “Stampede” is. Not loaded with hits, but might be their best album for those who like soulful country rock. Give it a try!
My top 5 would be: 1. Takin' it to the Streets 2. Livin' on the Fault Line 3. Minute by Minute 4. One Step Closer 5. The Captain & Me Yeah; I like the Michael McDonald stuff, partly because my parents were really into it. They got divorced in 1981 and the Doobies are some the last good memories I have from them together.
1.Stampede 2. Captain and me 3. Takin’ it to the Streets I’m kind of all over the place with them. I definitely prefer pre-McDonald era, despite my number 3 pick. I haven’t heard enough of vices and Toulouse. Great band I’ve always enjoyed them.
Love the Doobies, but for me,I'm a Tom Johnston man and as such, much prefer the original line up. The Captain and Me is a truly great album, and Stampede aint far behind. What Were Once...... is also a very cool lp. Jeff Skunk Baxter transferring from Steely Dan to the Doobies made a big difference.
You're a brave one to take this particular one on. The whole Tommy versus Michael thing. I love it all and have for decades. Plus my favourite doobie is Patrick Simmons anyways. Great stuff as always sir Pete🤘
The rerelease of the first album with the bonus tracks makes it must for the real fan and would boost its rankings. If you haven’t heard the new collection I implore thee.
I'm going to dissent on "World Gone Crazy" - I think the idea was to write a couple of songs "for the book", to play at gigs and it works pretty well on that level. When they were touring behind that record and they said "here's one from our new album", you didn't feel the urge to reach for your phone. I'd rate it a fair bit higher than second-to-last.
Jeff "Skunk" Baxter-who had been in the band since Stampede- recommended Michael McDonald ( a former Steely Dan cohort ) to the band when Tommy Johnston was feeling poorly. Oddly, after the success of Minute By Minute, those two guys had a " Either he goes or I do" showdown. Skunk left. Strange things happen in Rock and Roll.
Thank you very much for introducing me to this great band, I heard the name often but never was listening, until now I cklicked thru the album and feel just young and happy, I can see where all this rock and metal is coming from. Good to know ! 😘🏋🏼🚀🌍
Your analysis is spot on, although maybe I would have swapped around the albums 'Taking It To The Streets' and 'Living On The Fault Line' because on the former we have both Tom Johnston and Michael McDonald. On the latter we have just McDonald. Personally, the Fault Line album is where I parted company with the Doobies as their sound and style changed so dramatically.
I gotta take one exception to what Pete said here. He lumped Living On was he Fault Line and Takin it to the Streets together as being the same. Taking it is a great mix of a couple MM sung songs, but mostly it an upbeat “old school” album that is really fun to listen to and is produced great. A very strong hidden gem. Fault Line, on the other hand, is almost in listenable in its Doobie Brothers lightness and almost total MM.
Pete on the Japanese issue of "Sibling Rivalry" the band does a cover of the song "Little Bitty Pretty One" which as far as I know doesn't appear on any other issue. It's the best version I've heard of that old classic. For me, the best track on the whole album. Bloody great cover.
Thanks for the great "Doobie Brothers" presentation, Pete! My VERY FAVORITE D.B. album would have to be "Livin' On The Fault Line", and SECOND favorite would be "What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits", all the other D.B. albums fall underneath those two, at least for me. I thought "Fault Line" was a masterpiece, to be honest. Thanks!
Skunk Baxter and Michael McDonald were great additions to the Doobies. Takin' It To The Streets is my favorite Doobie Brothers album. It's a shame Tom got sick and had to leave the band.
I was 8 when ,Listen To The Music, topped the charts, My favorite song and album from 72. and other later rock hits. I didnt care for their 1976 "Streets" album, I felt ,at the time on first listen was "they've Gone Disco".
My tops from the ones I have listened so far are 1 The Captain and Me 2 Stampede 3 Taking it to the Streets 4 Minute by Minute 5 Livin' on the Fault Line I will need to check Toulouse Street and What Were once Vices
My top 5 1. What Were Once Vices Now Habits 2. The Captain and Me 3. Toulouse Street 4.Takin' It to the Streets 5.Minute by Minute Saw them live in Australia, great show
I am happy that you are doing this instead of me. You like a much wider range of bands (genres) than I do, and I MUST say, you do a great job of it. In any case, I'm of the opinion you have burnt thru most all of the worthy big bands. I'd rather see your list(s) of 'under the radar' classics, particularly ones that are still available. You could group them in themes of songwriting or guitar solos or psychedelic or sunshine pop. Anyways thanks for what you do.
Hi Pete. I love all your videos. Couldn't agree with you more, "The Captain and Me" is most definitely the Doobies' masterpiece. Had the record when I was a kid, I was 7 in 1973. First-class musicianship from the first note to the last.
Absolutely!! I was in High School when the Sylmar, Calif Earthquake occurred in 1971, causing the 14 Fwy over pass connector to the 5 Fwy to collapse which is the front cover of the Captain & Me album.
My ranked Doobie album minutes of aural ecstacy, very few actual tracks, but very awesome to my ears: 1. What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits (28) 2. The Captain And Me (25) 3. Toulouse Street (14) 4. Stampede (7) That's it. I don't get eargasms from that Michael McDonald stuff.
You forgot MY FAVORITE !! The LP, FROM THE SET OF "WHAT'S HAPPENING !!".... The CD re-issue/upgrade is a gold issue from MFSL that includes rarities that weren't on the original broadcast such as "Another Park, Another Sunday" & an astounding rendition of the immortal Raj & Rerun performing Sinatra's "Fly Me to The Moon".... A replica mug shot photo of bootlegger Al Dunbar is included in the fictionalized CD dreamt up by a subscriber to Pete Pardo's UA-cam channel that has far too much time on his hands....😎 Ah, but if only. IF ONLY !! 👊😜
13:02 I remember this one because at he time I was in California and the album cover showed some of the damage caused by the Sylmar earthquake in February 1971. This is the interchange of the Golden State Freeway (I-5) and the Antelope Valley Freeway (CA-14). Route 14 was not yet open and the interchange had just recently been built. I had traveled I-5 up to Bakersfield the night before the Earthquake. Many of the bridges that I drove over had collapsed the next morning. The interchange was rebuilt but strangely, in 1994 this same interchange failed again in almost the same manner in the Northridge earthquake.
I love the Doobie Brothers. They, along with Joe Walsh and the Eagles were the material I learned to play electric guitar with. I've come back to The Captain and Me recently, particularly the live versions available online of Clear as the Driven Snow, a song I didn't really appreciate when I was a kid.
Totally agree with your top 3 Pete. Didn't listen to them much after Takin' It To The Streets to be honest so can't really rank them. Prayers for your father in law. Hope he recovers soon
You nailed it! I agree with your top 3 and Captain And Me has always been #1 with me. Favorite track is “Natural Thing.” Interesting that “Minute by Minute” was your first DB LP; I bought The Captain and Me the week it was released!
My favorite Doobies LP was just one notch below your top choice. "Toulouse Street" is hands down for me the ultimate Doobie Brothers album. I have never gotten tired of listening to it, and every time I put it on, I can't seem to get enough- it's that good! I'm also not a huge Michael McDonald fan, as I tend to favor the "purer," classic Doobie Brothers sound, although in all fairness McDonald was hugely talented and added an entirely new dimension to the band. I do also love and appreciate the energy of Jeff Skunk Baxter, although again I'm ultimately a Doobies Old World purist. Awesome job, Pete!
Mine would be the 70s tom johnston albums in Pete's order. then Takin' It to the Streets, Livin on the Fault line, minute by minute, then the rest tied for last.
I never really listened to this band, but now I’ve just ordered Toulouse Street and The Captain & Me on CD because og your recommendation. Looking forward to checking them out!
Without question, in totality, their best albums were Vices and Stampede. Of course The Captain and Me has some amazing tunes and Without You is one of the best hard rock songs ever recorded. But Vices, through and through, except possibly for the Spirit song, is so unbelievably amazing. I think having the Memphis Horns really elevated them to their greatest heights and they themselves thought the Horns were in a class by themselves. After you are blown away by the first songs through Just Can't Stop It, etc., the album levitates the listener with its segued Daughters of the Sea into Flying Cloud. Daughters is just one of those angelic tunes that you can never grow tired of and with headphones and maybe a little cannabis, the interplay of the guitars and percussions is like a mini-trip in and of itself. Stampede just continues the embryonic journey through nirvana with incredible harmonies and syncopation. To go from Neal's Fandango into Hangman and then take a respite with that beauty of Texas Lullaby is really to experience the second coming of something. The incredible thing about the top 4 are that they are timeless masterpieces. They never disappoint, they are always fresh and the youthful power of Tommy's voice, Pat's voice, the harmonies and the deft guitars and drums and everything else is like going to a five star buffet, with lobster, ribeye, caviar, Dom Perignon and dripping chocolate cannolis. In a word, fantastic!!!
In that concert the Doobie Brothers did a memorable version of Without You. It was 10 minutes long. Best thing about the Doobies other than their songs was having 2 drummers starting with Toulouse Street.
Agree with most of your choices with the Doobs. Although I really love music of all kinds say from Elvis to Yes, when I revisit my old vinyl, the Doobies hit the turntable more often these days than any other band. Sorry Pink Floyd. I was at the Vices, Captain, Minute By Minute, One Step Closer tours and many after the band got back together. You correctly pointed out the Steely Dan connection and when you listen to the jazz like chord progressions on One Step Closer album, the sax breaks, that influence is real. No 4 for me. More importantly it's so nice you like the Doobs too.
Hey you hit on the nail. I have their first 4 Lps. framed and hanging in my music room They still are my favorite rock band. I never did like McDonalds style of music, but you have to give him credit for he got them 2 Grammy awards. He is joining them on their 50th anniversary tour this summer. I'm so glad I seen them in concert last April in 2019
My top 5 Doobie Brothers albums, number one and two are so close two amazing albums 1. The Captain and me 2. Toulouse Street 3. What were once vices are now habits 4. Stampede 5. Minute by Minute
Hi Pete hope the news is better about your father in law. The Captain and Me is one of my favourite albums of all time. I love the 70s Tom Johnston era, but as with Iron Maiden, I can appreciate the Michael Mcdonald stuff without being a big fan, apart from Takin It To The Streets, which I do really like. 1 The Captain and Me (features the Doobies 2 proto metal tracks plus China Grove, what a riff!) 2 What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits 3 Toulouse Street 4 Stampede 5 Experience (that's the title of that official/unofficial album on my copy) 6 Brotherhood 7 Takin It To The Streets 8 Cycles 9 Minute By Minute 10 Sibling Rivalry.
Which Doobie You Be? #1 Captain And Me. Like the cover featuring bridges in disarray from the 1971 San Bernardino earthquake. It also has 5 hits! Natural Thing, Long Train Running, China Grove, Without You, and South City Midnight Lady. #2 is Toulouse Street with Listen to the Music, Rockin Down the Highway, and Jesus is Just Alright. #3 is Vices with Black Water and Another Park. #4 is Stampede with Cheat the Hagman and Take Me in your Arms. #5 is Taking it to the Streets. #6 is Fault Line. #7 is The 1971 debut. The rest I can take or leave. My line up is Johnston, Simmons, Porter, Baxter, and Hartman.
Bob Doobie, Tom Doobie, Stanley Doobie - I liked them when they were the Doobie Brothers. Don't know why they tried to become Steely Dan. All the stuff before Skunk and Santa Claus were solid.
Seriously?! Maybe you should relisten to Stampede. I agree about MM but Skunk Baxter was/is a dam good guitar player and Stampede is one of my favorite DB albums. I really liked the Stampede lineup without the McDonald. Best incarnation of the band imo Like the saying goes, there's no accounting for taste.
You know your Doobies. I was focused on Taking it to the streets and henceforth, when they were, in my mind, the Steely Dan Brothers. Don't get me wrong, that version of the band was magnificent - they just weren't rocking down the highway for a few years. Only saw them twice in live, during the Stampede and Taking it to the Streets tour - both times with Skunk and Santa Claus. Amazing musicians. But the time the highlights were when Tom and Patrick were jamming China Grove, Long Train Runnin, WIthout You, Jesus is All Right, Another Park, Another Sunday. Congrats to the Brothers in all their various versions - they certainly deserve to be in the R n R Hall. Now lets get Jethro Tull and Gentle Giant in there as well.
The Captain and Me is possibly my fave album of all time. The recent Live at the Beacon dvd where it (along with Toulouse Street) was played in its entirety, was amazing.
Seen the Doobies as a headliner and saw them open for Boston, of course the headline was fantastic, we were pretty close to the stage, but both shows were fantastic.
Pete could u please do a ranking of the Dio albums, there's 10 studio albums, the only bad album imo is Angry Machines, but there's some great stuff on those albums with alot of line up changes, so it makes the history & music that much more interesting! Dio's best album imo is Lock up the wolves, Just a thought, thanks!
The top 3....with you all the way, although " What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits" I would have put at # 2 but "The Captain & Me" definitely #1. I am a big fan of some of the Michael McDonald stuff though......particularly "Living On The Fault Line". Beautifully recorded album and the title track may be my favorite Doobie track of all time!
The 4 that I can't live without...
1. What Were Once Vices..
2.The Captain And Me
3. Toulouse Street
4. Stampede
Essential Classic Rock!
The captain and me is one of my all-time favorite albums.
I definitely prefer the pre-McDonald stuff... but the stuff with him was good. You basically have to consider them as two separate bands.
Erik Sixx lol that’s exactly what I was thinking!
Amen! I didn't much like MM
I totally agree with you as someone who prefers the band with McDonald. Takin' It To The Streets is my favorite DB album as it has both Michael and Tom. It sucks that Tom had to leave the band but obviously health comes first. I woulda preferred it if Tom remained in the band along with Michael.
Thank u again PETE for your time. Wish you & your wife the best as it can possibly be under horrific circumstances.
The Captain and Me is an album I got when I was fifteen, and I still go back to it often always sounds fresh and exciting. A true rock master work. 👍
Good morning; here are my top five;
1. What were once vices
2.Captain and me
3.Touluse Street
4.Stampede
5.Takin it to the Streets.
Prefer early rockin Doobies; saw them during Once were tour and the slayed. Thank you Pete for your work, love it!
Good job. That would be my top five too.
Wow I can't believe how in sync we are on this one. Love the Doobies. Can't count how many times I've seen them live now through the decades.
Personally, I would put *Takin It to the Streets* a lot higher - probably #3 after Captain & Vices. MacDonald is a collaborator on that album, rather than the leader, which I think is almost perfect.
Steve Seim - I’d probably agree, it’s a well balanced album.
I agree
I went back to Takin' after hearing Carly Simon's version of It Keeps You Runnin' (if you haven't heard it, give it a listen - it's wonderful). I found things in the album then that I had missed on release. Just looking at the cover still takes me back to a certain tumultuous time and place in my life!
TITTS is just amazing. Carly Simons version of It Keeps you Runnin is awesome too. Much prefer this era of the band.
They should have been Inducted 20 years ago . Its a travesty that they haven't been .
The Hall of Fame is a joke. Too many rapper's and not enough hard rock/metal.
The Best of The Doobies is an awesome compilation, all killer, no filler!
Exactly what a greatest hits album should be.
1) Minute By Minute (1978)
2) Livin’ On The Fault Line (1977)
3) What Were Vices Are Now Habits (1974)
4) The Captain & Me (1973)
5) Takin’ It To The Streets (1976)
6) Toulouse Street (1972)
7) Stampede (1975)
8) One Step Closer (1980)
9) The Doobie Brothers (1971)
My favorite songs aren't always what people would expect, but forget that, you nailed it again, thanks!
Great show!

Yeah; I like the Michael McDonald stuff, partly because my parents were really into it. They got divorced in 1981 and the Doobies are some the last good memories I have from them together.
Totally agree!
Thanks Pete. Yet another very insightful countdown of albums of another of my favourite bands. Had the same top four (only 2 & 3 were reversed!)
Thanks !!! Been waiting for this ranking for a while!!!
Thank you for your ranking the Doobie Brothers.🎤🎸🎵🥁
Saw the Doobie Brothers in March 1974, touring ahead of the release of Vices and Habits.
1.Stampede
2. Captain and me
3. Takin’ it to the Streets
I’m kind of all over the place with them. I definitely prefer pre-McDonald era, despite my number 3 pick. I haven’t heard enough of vices and Toulouse. Great band I’ve always enjoyed them.

Secret ingredients : Tiran Porter's harmony vocals, Patrick Simmons fingerpicking.
Porter's bass lines....pretty awesome as well!
@bucky468 Rerun dropped the tape recorder?
I thought they were a lot better before Michael McDonald joined. "Black Water" will always be one of my favorite songs.
Fully agree. At their best pre MacDonald. Black Water; great song and the drumming on it is superb, albeit too short in my opinion!

Absolutely!! I was in High School when the Sylmar, Calif Earthquake occurred in 1971, causing the 14 Fwy over pass connector to the 5 Fwy to collapse which is the front cover of the Captain & Me album.
@@zapped56 That overpass connector collapsed again in 1994 during the Northridge earthquake.
@@donaldkennedy9573 Yes sir - it certainly did!!
My ranked Doobie album minutes of aural ecstacy, very few actual tracks, but very awesome to my ears:
1. What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits (28)
2. The Captain And Me (25)
3. Toulouse Street (14)
4. Stampede (7)
That's it. I don't get eargasms from that Michael McDonald stuff.
Captain and Me has always been my favorite of theirs. That and Toulouse St are the ones I'm most likely to listen to.
A replica mug shot photo of bootlegger Al Dunbar is included in the fictionalized CD dreamt up by a subscriber to Pete Pardo's UA-cam channel that has far too much time on his hands....😎
Ah, but if only. IF ONLY !!
Hi Pete, are you going to rank Saga albums?
The unreleased album (recorded in 1970) is by far the best one. ...for me.
Pete we Love your channel, Theres is some bands that I love to see worst to best, one is Saxon
You nailed it! I agree with your top 3 and Captain And Me has always been #1 with me. Favorite track is “Natural Thing.” Interesting that “Minute by Minute” was your first DB LP; I bought The Captain and Me the week it was released!
5 - Livin' On The Fault Line
4 - Minute By Minute
3 - Takin' It To The Streets
2 - Touluse Street
1 - What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits
You must have never listed to the Captain and Me.
Well like the saying goes, there's no accounting for taste
One of the best band EVER!!!!! Rock and Soul at ist best like the amazing Grand Funk of born to die Survival and we're an american band!!!
Nailed the top 3.
Mine would be the 70s tom johnston albums in Pete's order. then Takin' It to the Streets, Livin on the Fault line, minute by minute, then the rest tied for last.
Captain and me was a gift for my 12th birthday and I still love it but Vices is not far behind....Stampede is also excellent...
#TheDoobieBrothersRule
Congratulations for their looooog overdue RARHOF induction for 2020.
I remember their appearance on What's Happening?!! TV show. "I'll speak to any Doobie that do be in". lol
Great ranking list Pete!! 😄👍
I never really listened to this band, but now I’ve just ordered Toulouse Street and The Captain & Me on CD because og your recommendation. Looking forward to checking them out!
They rock. Take a listen to all their albums. Will not be disappointed .
Those are the the top 3 Pete and in that order. Those albums did make the Doobies legendary.
My favorite 2 Doobie Brothers’ songs The Doctor and Without You.
Duder! I really love watching your reviews. :)
Stampede and the captain and me are my favourites , oh and Toulouse street
I have their first 4 Lps. framed and hanging in my music room
They still are my favorite rock band. I never did like McDonalds style of music, but you have to give him credit for he got them 2 Grammy awards. He is joining them on their 50th anniversary tour this summer. I'm so glad I seen them in concert last April in 2019
What Once were Vices … my number 1
My top 5 Doobie Brothers albums, number one and two are so close two amazing albums
1. The Captain and me
2. Toulouse Street
3. What were once vices are now habits
4. Stampede
1 The Captain and Me (features the Doobies 2 proto metal tracks plus China Grove, what a riff!)
2 What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits
3 Toulouse Street
4 Stampede
5 Experience (that's the title of that official/unofficial album on my copy)
6 Brotherhood
7 Takin It To The Streets
8 Cycles
9 Minute By Minute
10 Sibling Rivalry.
Best incarnation of the band imo
Like the saying goes, there's no accounting for taste.
Dave Courlang Santa Claus! Ahahahahahahah!
Right you ate- tom johnston huge force
Yup they became Dan Doobie and the Steely Brothers
Only have the greatest hits ,really like the doobies seen them twice in the 70s
vices,.....Eyes Of Silver ... very very great with them dual drums and slamming guitar riffs...vocals of gold.
Their first album sold poorly but the second album sold through the roof love Toulouse street rocking down the highway is my favorite song
The Captain and Me is possibly my fave album of all time. The recent Live at the Beacon dvd where it (along with Toulouse Street) was played in its entirety, was amazing.
Yes indeed!
Michael MacDonald is immensely talented, but for me he will always be the man who killed the Doobies.
I have that shirt..vices is awesome.
Really wish I could see them on this tour
The top 3....with you all the way, although " What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits" I would have put at # 2 but "The Captain & Me" definitely #1. I am a big fan of some of the Michael McDonald stuff though......particularly "Living On The Fault Line". Beautifully recorded album and the title track may be my favorite Doobie track of all time!
1. The Captain and Me 2. What once were vices 3. Toulouse Street 4. Stampede 5. All the Live albums.
My top five Doobie Brothers albums are 1.takin it to the streets,2.toulouse street,3.the captain and me,4.what were once vices, and 5.cycles
