I fucking love Uncle Lynn! I filmed some of my blades recently due to boredom when we are locked down for 70 days and the end result is heavy with Cold Steel blades.
In this PC/snowflake/SJW culture, that *generation Z* seems to go to like ducks to water ... it is effecting a lot of companies and how they present their products.
But not good old reliable Cold Steel! It is for stabbing shit ... you could hit bone with this tip and have no problems!
I am just sad that the days of the (Hattori made) Japanese san mai III VG1 are over as they were some classy blades.

Joe Perry I want to dislike the company, cheep imports and such, but the man clearly has a love for what he does and thinks about it in a very lucid and interested manner. I might get one some day but I struggle with paying the prices he asks for something mass produced in Japan and India.

I love Lynn. His hawks etc are exactly what you would have got from the Hudson Bay company except with modern steel and manufacturing. His company makes such weird but cool designs. I remember reading and thinking about that part of the Bible because I am the same kind of weirdo. I wish him all the success and there isn't anyone I would be happier to see get it.

I love the fact that you always get a history and combat lesson whenever Lynn discusses his products! He’s well versed on different utility tools and melee tactics through the ages, and that always grabs my attention!
Lynn really does impress me with his product he just seems PASSIONATE
Lynn has always been out front and very outspoken of his products since the 80's. He was one of the earliest torture testers of his products.

Is there a way to know before ordering which Kydex sheaths have glass fiber in the plastic? I am seeing more and more glass fiber containing sheaths that ruin the edge requiring re-sharpening when the knife is inserted and withdrawn. My older CS Kydex sheaths don’t have glass fibers but the sheath to the CS knife I bought recently does and it is a pain to have to re-sharpen the knife simply because the sheath dulls the edge when the knife is put in.

The second knife reminds me of my schrade needle. Which reminds me of a Fairbarn Sykes dagger. Which is why I bought it. Super cool design. Love it. Hope to see some serrations on the next cold steel versions of that dagger. People seem to forget that in the heat of combat, an attacker might not even notice he's been stabbed until the adrenaline dies off. A few serrations will add a bite to your dagger that can really let someone know they've been stabbed and force them to back off.

A good number of us in the community have remarked on the Wasp being the new century Sykes. Same blade geometry, similar grip style, very solid knife.
