I know haul videos probably get the most views, but I love hearing people talk about their favourites, whether new or old 🥰 It's so interesting to hear how people fell in love with notes or scents, or the people/places/times they remind them of. Thank you for taking the time to share about these scents! P.S. even when some reviewers have different tastes than I do, I still like watching their videos sometimes because they can help me figure out "where to start" with notes/accords that I struggle with but want to learn to appreciate more 🤔
I'm the same way! I like hearing about others' all time favorites. I also watch reviewers with different tastes from me, especially when they describe the scents really well.
Yes! I'd love to hear about your least favourite fragrances categories (and maybe outliers that break through? Like if you dislike fruity scents but enjoy one particular fruity fragrance for some reason). Take care and have a great weekend!
Thank you for this interesting vidéo. My favourite iris is L’Initial by Guerlain (Collection les Légendaires). Iris Poudré is absolutly beautiful also ❤
Loved this Yve, nice to see a video from you, I’m loving Iris of late. Iris Poudree is lovely, Portofino Dior sounds amazing and is very affordable. Thanks for taking us through each fragrance. 💛💛
Oh, yeah! Favorite notes and preferred examples…nice video. Iris Poudre is so billowy, fancy, elegant…I love it too. I bought a bottle of Atkinsons’. English Lavender…it’s so good.you may enjoy it a lot too. PS… I should probably mind my own business, but the tall Lutens’ bottle , though not pretty, feel good in the hand.I love them for that reason .
Great to have you back, and as always you have picked some really interesting fragrances. Very refreshing that people in the fragrance community talk about fragrances in other ways than the hauls and declutters, I am just so tired of all that. I love to hear about people who have fragrances for years, and truly know the perfumes they own.
Thanks for your kind words. I haven't watched too many fragrance videos lately, so I wasn't aware of the amount of hauls and declutters that are still going on! I think I'm the same way--I prefer hearing about people's long-term fragrances.
Welcome back! Love your commentary. Santa Maria Novella is a brand I want to try but their distribution is a bit limited. Perhaps one day in the future. I want to try that Dior too but can never find it in stores haha! Eau de Jane is great, like an au natural smelling version of Chanel's Bel Respiro. Both are lovely. I've smelt the Serge Lutens when I was living many years ago in Singapore. The prices were much more reasonable back then >_
Yay! I have been loving lavender lately ! 💜 One i really like where i get lavender a lot is Parle Moi Haute Provence… and an affordable one which has a teeny tiny hint of lavender, but it’s more of a milky lavender, is Oscar dela Renta Lavender ☺️
I've been called a Lowes Ruver before. 😎 And queen. 😂 Yes indeed, the good old-fashioned lover boy. Delighted to see you again Yve! 🧡 Loving that FM travel atomizer holder. Slllllick. And I was just wearing Tea for Two yesterday. Layered with a nice boozy vanilla of course. Balances out the smokiness nicely in the opening and mid. Big fan of Woody Mood too!
What a wonderful video/theme, thank you! I purchased a Lutens exploration set (made by a friend) a few years ago, and the decant of Se Majesté is my favorite (and I love most of them). Sadly, not sure if I’ll ever own it because the bell jars are just so spendy. It is perfect, so I’ll keep looking!
Seems like you have easy access to ZGO. Next time you're there, think about giving Bistro Waters by DS&Durga a sniff. It's green like bell pepper, but on me at least it remains with fresh basil and moss. As opposed to drying down to woody or floral. Curious to hear you're thoughts on this one :)
Since you like rose and spice, have you ever smelled Marrakech/Marrakech Intense by Aesop? It is very nice. Primarily spicy with cloves with subtle rose. It is an aromaprofile I wouldn't normally be drawn to but here it is spa-like which is very much my thing. The Rose 1845 is giving me a similar vibe which is why I want to try it. Also, have you smelled Perles de Lalique? That is a patchouli rose scent, very cooling. Since you like this combination of notes I'd imagine it might be worth your time. I will say I get more of the iris in it than rose. and congratulations on your pregnancy!
Eau de Jane also is another on my list but on her site it is 2ml for $25. O_o ..... the bottle is much more cost friendly but to try it is a bit yikes.
I actually haven't smelled that one from Aesop yet, but you make it sound so good! I'll need to check that out next time I'm in their shop. I haven't smelled Perles yet either!
Yeah it's really steep! I think the money from the sample will count towards the full bottle purchase (at least that was the case when I bought mine), but that potentially might be $25 you don't get back if you end up not liking the scent =(

Woo! She's back! ❤
I wore Rose 1845 last night and it was heaven
I love it so much!
Welcome back Yve, great to see you here again.
Thanks, Pep! Happy to be back.
diverse, vast, interesting variety! Beautiful aesthetics and presenting well! Loved this!
Such an amazing video idea! It´s always interesting to me to learn about other people´s scent preferences and what they like to wear 😊
Yve! Loving the choices 🌹
Thanks Sam! ❤️
Welcome back, beautiful Yve!!!🥰🥰🥰Really enjoyed hearing about all your lovely favorites!!!
Thank you Joss!

Thanks for the feedback! Sure I'll film that one. Have a great weekend as well!
I always see Santa Maria Novella online here… that’s a beautiful bottle 😍
Oh, yay! You are back! I absolutely love your choices, so amazing and interesting. I love rose, too. Many thanks!
Thanks Julie!

Atkinson's is a house I still need to try out! Thanks for the recommendation!

Oh I wonder if there's a limited distribution of the Dior, or maybe it might get discontinued? I hope not
Hello Yve,
I like that your videos feature lesser known fragrances. I only discovered your channel in January and I am enjoying them. - Jenn
Thank you for watching, Jenn!
Yay! I have been loving lavender lately ! 💜

Milky lavender?? Oooh that sounds good
Great video! I love your taste in fragrance.
Thanks, Amina! You know I love your taste in fragrances, too! 💕

FM makes the best travel cases, hands down. The atomizer is excellent and soooo much better than other brands!
I really enjoyed this!! I too love florals lol. Yes, give us one of those you don’t like. Thanks for sharing 💕
Aw thanks, J! I like your taste in florals!

Sa Majesté is a beauty, isn't she? Such a shame they got moved into the more expensive packaging!
What a,selection.....perfume envy for,Lys serge Lutens. We have different tastes, obviously lol 😅BUT there are a few there I like. ❤
Un Lys is so pretty! I tend to like some of the fragrances you talk about, but I especially love how you describe them!

Se Majeste la Rose 🥰🥰🥰🌹
It's magical 💕💕💕

Hi Yve, do you find rose 1845 to be feminine and sensual or more unisex?
