I’m late to the party here, but I had to chime in … I struggle with rose fragrances, but I’m such a fan of Rosa Novella! So elegant, yet fun and bright!
I didn't think I was a rose perfume person and now because there has been so much creativity with rose fragrances I have found that I am really enjoying it as a note in perfume. Thanks for sharing some of your Summer rose fragrances!
Nice video! Personally, I’ll wear rose all year lol. I love A La Rose 😉 I had to get the body oil. I think I might wear it my personal Rose week lol. Thanks for sharing 💕
@@yvespiderssmells9956 it’s lovely. Nice and lightweight with just a small hint of citrus freshness, at least on my skin but just a hint 🌹 It’s definitely worthy of being a repurchase. Can’t go wrong with a lovely Rose scent!!
We were at 107 F for a couple of days here in Southern Ontario. Or as Will Ferrell refers to it as, "the Mexico of Canada." 😆 He's not wrong. Over a 100 for a good week in the spring too. Not normally a fan of Cartier's Declaration d'un Soir, but I busted it out in the heat and it gets waaaaay more floral than when it's cool. I like the change actually. 🌹 Great to see you again Yve!
I am waiting like a panther in the bushes on eBay, mercari etc to score Lombre Dans Eau edp for a good price. It’s taking too long though I might cave lol. Diptyque does rose very well. Got to also revisit that Kelly Caleche. Haven’t smelled in a long time but when you said it had the grapefruit opening now it’s a top priority lol. People on fragrantica are comparing it to Rose Ikebana which I like so there’s that too.
Hope you find a bottle of it for a great deal! I can see how Kelly Caleche shares similarities to how the rose in Rose Ikebana smells like, though I've only tried Rose Ikebana from a tiny dabber vial. I actually sense a strange similarity between Kelly Caleche and the leathery part of Osmanthe Yunnan too, but only slightly.

My favourite rose scent for high heat (and year-round, really) is Eau de Protection! But I don't get any of the lactonic accords you described, it stays a gingerly metallic rose throughout on me
