- The Queen made a visit to the Isle of Man on behalf of her husband King Charles, officially conferring city status on Douglas. She said His Majesty was “so sorry” he could not be there himself to celebrate the “extremely special occasion”. She thanked residents for their “warm welcome” before reading out a speech prepared by The King which acknowledged the late Queen Elizabeth II. . Report by Matthew Covell.
This woman has been behind the King for decades. They didn't allow her to marry him. She patiently waited. She loved and love him for years, she has been insulted by the media and humiliated. The love of her life is fighting cancer and she keeps going around filling engagements and serving the Crown. Strong as a rock. God Bless Her and her positivity and spirit of service.

In a way, this could be how King Charles III sways newly established cities in the UK, by having Queen Camilla confer the newest cities that way, as a city, they’d fight for Camilla thus justifying his reign. Why? Because Queen Camilla wasn’t his first spouse, Princess Diana was and her offspring is going to be King. King Charles III wouldn’t have needed to fight for Princess Diana as she was his first. Had they remained married, he would have had a just reign regardless but because they divorced, Princess Diana had to go. Imagine if she was still living arguing against King Charles III stating that her offspring, Prince William will be King regardless of how King Charles III, even on the throne, feels about her 🇬🇧

That actually used to be somewhat of a trademark for her. Perhaps she wants to be seen properly by all on this occasion. She has enough grand hats to fill a small home.

She does at many occasions. Recently, she wore hats for her appearance at King Constantine's memorial service, and when attending the Cheltenham races. She can carry off a large hat very well when she needs to. It may be that she prefers to be hatless when making the rounds talking to the public, and it is certainly easier for the cheek kissing when greeting her hosts.
The late Queen was from an earlier generation where it was the norm to wear a hat in public, but even she was occasionally seen without one. Lighting the beacon at her Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022 was one of those times.

The Queen has a grandson named Louis through her daughter Laura Lopes. He was probably who she was referring to, not Prince Louis as he is a child of her stepson the Prince of Wales. Louis Lopes and his twin brother Gus were Pages of Honour to her at the coronation.

They are all queen consort if they're married to the king but they go by queen because King is the highest ranking and it doesn't matter. Are you like 5 and no one has ever told you how it works?
Why is there always someone who comes on every post about the Queen and shouts out ”consort” as though it’s some sort of insult or lesser form of queenship? Queen consort is not a title. It is the descriptive name for the king’s wife. It distinguishes her from a queen regnant such as Queen Elizabeth II. But Camilla’s style/title is Her Majesty The Queen, as it was for every King’s wife before her.
To say “she’s not the queen, she’s the queen consort” is as silly as saying, “that’s not a rose, it’s a red rose.”
@jrimpau There's really only two possible answers to that. They are not intelligent enough to figure it out themselves or they choose to keep themselves ignorant. There's absolutely no reason for anyone in this day and age to be confused about the different types of queens, it's just not acceptable.
