Sir! As per the quantum efficiency formula, it is the no.of moles reacted divided by no.of moles present. we know that the no.of moles reacted can either be lesser than or equal to the no.of moles present .the no.of moles reacted can't be higher than the no.of moles present.Then how can quantum efficiency be higher than one? .Could u pls clarify this. Thank u !

Quantum efficiency can be greater than one for photo/radiation induced reactions because in such reactions,a single photon can induce a chain of reactions (Example: Reaction between H and Cl in presence of light)
